The design and atmosphere is terrific. Even near the top level, we were able to see the game very well. Good selection of food and love the open space feel. The TV monitors above the court was huge! 5 stars for that.
A low key arena within the NBA community with great staff, great energy and atmosphere. Came here for the Lakers v Kings came and was not disappointed!
Outstanding new event venue and shopping. Concerts there are very nice, great security /ushers / attendants.
A beautiful arena don't get me wrong, however, the seating is super uncomfortable. They should definitely have height requirements on seating because if you're a taller person God forbid you're sitting somewhere off the floor. It's truly an accident waiting to happen. If 1 person were to loose their footing, everyone's going down with them. Plus my knees were in a ladies back while someone's were in mine. I know arenas cram seating for the money but if I'm sitting there (NEVER STAND UP) I'm not expecting to necessarily be "comfortable" but I also don't want to be in pain when I leave or wonder the whole time if this is safe. This was my 2nd time at an event there & I don't see myself going back, but I know a lot still will #GoodLuck
Nice venue. Super clean. Good food choices. Not as steep as I heard.
Acoustics were great! We look forward to seeing more shows here.
The event it was organized properly. There was enough parking for everybody. The orientation inside of the center was great. Nice sound but no perfect.
Far too sterile, prices at concessions are way out of line. Even sitting up in the nosebleed section at a recent game after just a few snacks and the cost of tickets 4 the three of us I was over 125$... can't afford that, sorry.
Always went in and show was not crowded and never got into heavy traffic. .very smooth in and out..
Great venue. Several pay parking areas close by. As well as restaurant's.
Extremely impressive arena. Outstanding hospitality!
Here for the Dave Ramsey SMART Conference! Awesome job on the venue!
Great new venue for Sacramento. Site of where Kanye lost his marbles.
The place is magic. It's surrounded by so many restaurants and bars. The art and architecture is divine. The staff was pleasant and informative. Everything was orderly. The bathrooms were so nice! I attended the California Classic -- what a blast.
Metallica in concert, best ever! The Golden 1 Center was a packed house that night with a whopping 17,000+ people. The chicken strips and fries were great, the custom beer made with/by Metallica for the concert was awesome, and the whole place was alive with energy.
State of the art facility, easy to navigate, helpful staff.
Ramsey's Smart Conference is by far the most amazing experience. Speakers with passion for helping others that it projects in their voice. #smartconf #itendshere
Went when I was visiting SAC TOWN everything was great seen 4 NBA summer league teams play everything was clean clear and vibrant. Had a really fun time.
Had an amazing time at the Kings game with the family the kids loved it!!!
This place is cool. But the nose bleed seats are wierd. My friend got a little quezzy. And I felt like I was gonna fall forward. Floor seats are awesome.
It's not Arco Arena loud but at least it's still in Sac!
This place is clean and well kept! Home to my favorite NBA team! @doitlikethekingdo for your @bigboyzclothing!
It's an okay arena. It's no Staples Center. Just a high-end mediocre okay arena.
Nice facility! I believe it was built in the last few years and it is very up to date. Lots of screens everywhere you turn so you don't miss a play when you get up from your seat. The bathrooms were numerous and fairly nice. I have been to some stadiums where the bathroom were ransacked by the end of the game; these were still kept up on the way out. The seating is tight, but even an upper-deck seat wasn't a bad view. The pic I'm attaching make it seem much further away than they really are, but I could even still read the players names on their jerseys. The are several parking options cheaper than the $30 event parking within a reasonable walk. Overall a great experience!
Seating is WAY too cramped prefer Toyota Amphitheater.. concert is amazing
Great event center! Drinks and food are expensive, no outside beverages allowed inside.
Uncomfortable seating on the inside. Eyesore on the outside.
Wish they had an Uber/Lyft drop off and pick up spot
Seats are extremely close together, very difficult to leave your seat once you sit down. Your knees are against the seat in front of you. Adult beverages are EXTREMELY expensive, hard liquor, $35.00 a drink and beer is $14.00 a beer.
Always a good time. Stadium has improved over the old Arco Arena/Sleep Train Arena.
I love the new arena it's so beautiful and I'm happy it's finally done.
Watched the Kings. Great venue. Easy parking lots of food options
My daughters' went to an Imagine Dragons concert and had a blast. The Golden 1 Center is an exciting arena that offers a wide array of events all year long in downtown Sacramento. The decor and architecture is modern and is enhanced according to the event taking place. Plenty of room outside the building while waiting in lines, including street performers to entertain while waiting. Multiple parking options, but about 99% of them are fee for parking garages. You can expect to pay $15- $20 for parking, depending on available options. The most important thing to me, especially as a parent of teenagers, police presence and security took place hours before, during and after the show. You could not have felt safer to allow your children to go to a concert without you, and that's a promise!
I grew up in Sacramento and spent a lot of time on K Street and the Downtown Plaza, and I'm so impressed with how the city has revitalized the area. Golden One Center is the crown jewel of downtown Sacramento, amazing multi function stadium, with easy access, comfortable seating and a smart layout. With amazing hotels and restaurants literally just outside the doors, the city has created a great shopping and recreational district with a vibrant nightlife.
Beautiful venue. Lots of great local eats. Unfortunately the garlic fries from the old arena are no more. You can get garlic herb frieds from Cafe Bernardo booths, but they are smaller and less tasty. The views of the game are good from pretty much every seat, although the upper level feels super steep.
Steve Martin & Martin Short were FANTASTICABULOUSLY WONDERPERFECTORIOUS!!!! They have such timing & talent that is PRICELESS. Love those guys.... Great venue too.
Still the best Arena for music concert till the new Chase center S.F. gets done for now
Sacramento can NOT handle 17,000+ people at a venue. Why they built this in the middle of the town is insane. Great security, nice building if you don't pay extra to sit in 125-126 because you will be blinded by netting in your view and if you don't have to go to the bathroom. Trying to get there is a nightmare. Don't pay Stubhub for premium parking, you will never get in. The whole experience to get inside with the traffic and parking is not worth going.
Cause of the location but parking sucks and they should've put it where the Arco was and left the downtown area with its Mall we ain't got no Mall downtown
The overall experience was great! We could see everything in our section. We had lower level seats but in like row S and could still see. Of course drinks and food are quite pricey inside. We also took a lyft to make getting in and out easier on ourselves so I would recommend that.
The best
i love the Kings, they are such an amazing group of guys, my dream is too play with them one Day, as a professional basketball player, it was my Dream since i was like 5 years old, super cool arena, been here once with my wife, we had a good Time, but it got sour towards the End :(, hoping and praying the Kings continue Too honor God and Christ in all their endeavors and training and development and progress, Joshua 1:8-9
many best wishes and blessings!
Go Sactown Kings!
Own it! for Divacs, Peja and Webber!
Saw the Smashing Pumpkins here recently. Couldn't have been a better experience! Great seats, great sound, awesome stadium. Highly recommend coming here for shows or sports events, it will blow you mind!
Variety of things available in the center. Restaurants, movie theaters, ice cream , coffee. All around you.
The parking is horrible and very expensive ,but if you able to get validated then it's not that bad.
Located in the downtown slum. Very expensive parking
No cup holders in upper sections. No handouts available so you can decide where to eat without walking all the way around. Cannot bring any food or WATER in. Even if unopened.
Seats are padded, upholstered and comfortable. No hooks in bathroom stalls for purses or coats.
This is a great venue just don't expect to sit comfortably if you're in nosebleeds and tall or plus sized. Plus size people will be uncomfortable getting in and out of their seat/ walking through the isles. It looks spacious but it is a bit too compacted. The seats are great, comfortable but it was an uncomfortable experience for me being a tall 5'10 "plus sized" person, I felt cramped and felt like I needed to move/stretch very often (definitely not great seating for larger caustrophobic people) I am not a caustrophobic person but I really felt it that evening.
I have Pictured here is a screenshot from the Golden 1 Center page on my "seat veiw" and one of the show I went to see.
My neighbor and I are Season ticket holders who park our power wheel chairs behind section 103 with our "service cats" in our laps. We ring cowbells and yell from beginning to end for our favorite team... Let's Go Kings!!!!
It was easy to access from freeway. Plenty of parking close by. The center is clean and modern.
Golden 1 is our place to go for basketball games. Everyone is nice and helpful and bathrooms are clean! Food is okay, not exceptional.
Great concert venue and a variety of food and drinks.
The best arena in the USA. Also very proud to see the NBA stays out of all the political BS and everyone stands for the National Anthem. Proud to support Golden 1, the MBA and USA.
Great venue but really $12 for a beer. Thats just price gouging. Instead of sticking it to the people who want to enjoy a beer. Why not just not serve the people you believe have had to much??
I went to the mixed tape concert here. I'm not in the best of health one of the ushers offered me a wheel chair but i turned him down because i didn't want to make someone in my group have to push me around. As we moved inside i was struggling even more and my hero, Lee, offered me a wheel chair. When he brought it back he didn't just send us on our way he pushed me all the way to our seats! Laughing, singing and greeting people all along the way. After the concert, there was Lee! Everyone on staff that i came in contact with were amazingly kind and courteous it was a wonderful night! Thank you!
