I've been a Tenant with Jomela Properties now for two years...Their team of Staff members arranging from Administrative/Office, Maintenance, Pest Control are very professional and have always treated me as a respected Tenant. When having to call for any request they are right on the task until completed in it entirety. I especially want to give a special appreciation for Ryann, Monica, Maintenance Request Representative, John and his Partner (who were very patient in resolving a mysterious plumbing issue in my Apartment, that even outside subcontractor's could never figure out, the awesome Quality Pest Control Guy (that is consistent in keeping the properties free of any pest; he has a regimen that accommodates us on a bi-weekly basis and has one of the most cordial demeanor, I always welcomes his knowledgeable profession), a Security Staff that keep us Tenants safe and also the exceptional Groundkeepers/Cleaning crew. They even regularly check fire alarms to ensure they are in working order and they even have a crew that changes all bulbs in every light fixture without even having to place a maintenance request. I feel right at home finally in Wisconsin without the responsibilities of Home Ownership, thank you Jomela for making my move to your property a wonderful and satisfying experience.
I Love My New Apartment . It's In a Great Building With a Locked Lobby . The Representatives Makes Everything Easy To Move In & They're Very Reasonable .
They do not help you when you are in need..I have been dealing with mice for awhile and when I call them, they say that they will send someone to handle the problem and I still have been waiting..unprofessional, things barely get fixed around here on Michigan street
If i could give 0 stars i would we first moved into Juneau gardens it seemed like everything was okay about after a week my son was suffering from bumps and severe pain it was due to bed bugs i got bit my company was bit there was bed bugs on the hallway walls there are roaches all over and they also have mice that come in out through holes in the wall. the windows leaked through when it ran and my son almost got eletrocuted because the water dripped down to his outlet. There were drug dealers in the hall along with their clients who would knock on random doors. i was afraid for my life that they were trying to set me up. our sink flooded two months ago all over the carpet and the cabinets they told me they would replace ( not to mention my dishes and things under the cabinet sink all had to be thrown out) They never came to fix so our house smelled of wet mold for months no help. people who live here have no choice because they already signed the lease and the problems don show on the surface until after about a week. The renters are suffering from bugs and damage i feel so bad i had to break my lease so my son could be healthy again if you live here please clal the inspector and let them know the truth WI statue 704.07 jomela is unsuitable for life please leave and be safe
The worst place ever!!!!! No professionalism they staff will sit and talk Amongst each other all day and get no work done. They are super racist, I put down $200 to hold an apartment and didn t here from they for 6days and then I still had to call them. For them to say they need my last check stub, which I turned In a few times Prior. Called everyday this week for the just call again and ask for the same info ID check stub. We where scheduled to move-in On the 15th to make a long story short this company is the worst
I have Very bad experience With jomela bad Maintanance no heat no hot evry other day you have to call yo the office and say no heat no hot water. Worst please ever to leave don t ever move on to jomela property !
They showed me a rental unit that smelled like mildew and worst yet was infested with roaches!
Terminated my relationship with them immediately.

I did not like anything unprofessional. I filled out a application they called me back to bring information I did they gave me the run around. I came with all my paper only for them to tell me I was denied I wwasted my time doing all this and simply because they did not review the application before I came. I think its a incoveince to make you do all this stuff then deny you. Then the worker called my phone to sy some slick remarks worse rental people ever. I think they are just pick who they want and don't want . then gone actb like they are the best when they have nothing but. Bad service and review s
If I could provide 0 stars I would. I've worked in Customer Service for years and I can't begin to understand how you simply choose to not get back to people who are showing interest in your properties. I've reached out to them via email and left several voicemails trying to contact someone in regards to my application. No one has responded and it's been over a month. Luckily I have found a lovely property with a team that practices communicating! I am going to reach out to the Better Business Bureau to do some research on this company; however, don't waste your time or money. I would like a refund of my application fee since it was never processed and everyone be sure to steer far away from Jomela Properties.
Im so glad we found The Glen Luxury Townhomes, perfect place for transitional living. The Glen offers a great location, right off the highway and only miles from Bayshore Town Center. The units are cozy and pretty up to date. You are given a couple options for your move in and the amenities are an added bonus( fitness room, onsite laundry area, outdoor sitting area, outdoor pool, clubhouse area available). Not to mention they are pet-friendly for pet lovers like myself and my family. The staff are easily accessible and very accommodating. Mashyllia and Kayla go above and beyond! Jomela Properites work to keep their tenants happy and comfortable and I appreciate that.
One thing I appreciate about Jomela properties is that they understand hardships and they are willing to work with you on your rent and plus they prices are fair for the descent size place you're given
My initial experience renting here was fine but overall I would not recommend working with this management company. They are practically impossible to contact for maintenance. They do not return phone calls. They also attempted to keep half of my deposit illegally due to administrative mistakes. Pretty sure they are in the business of taking advantage of low income families who they hope don't know rental law. Too bad for them that I know my rights as a renter. Don't do it. Try a Gorman Property instead.

My experience with Jomela has been excellent. The apartments have been nice. Any issues are immediately taken care of. The staff is second to none. I would highly recommend renting from Jomela Properties.
This place is not up to code.... The accessibility to this building is open for all considering you don't need a key because the lock is broken off. And has been for a while..... They have tenants whom the fail to communication with. They also don't fix major units issues like plumbing and heat in a timely fashion....
Please do your research before conducting business with them.

Fire alarms stay on all night long, they treat tenants like nothing more than a way to make money. Is not a good place to live. Maintenance blows off appointments, for months at a time. I m still waiting for someone to come and fix the leaking ceiling and mold in the kitchen and bathrooms.
Bad place to live, i used to live 4601 S Howell ave by the airport, its old appartments, not clean place and they also had bed bags. I will not recommend to any one..... please guys avoid to rent any jomela properties, lady stuff and bad management too.
Do not rent from Jomela! Horrible to get into contact with, maintenance takes way too long to show. I currently have cockroaches and had no heat in the winter for days. I have had instances where I have no hot water or no water at all! My license plates were stolen from their parking lot and have been harassed multiple times by the neighbors! It s ridiculous how unsafe these properties are. You guys suck

By far the most professional management company that I've worked with in the Milwaukee metro area. They have a wide selection of units to fit any budget and I was lucky to find an apartment that matched my needs and budget perfectly. My building had a waitlist for underground parking, which was the only disappointment but I didn't have a problem with finding street parking on the same block as my building. My unit was well-maintained and didn't need any maintenance while I rented, but they had scheduled maintenance twice while I lived there, which seemed to prevent things from going wrong. They also were very willing to work with me regarding disability accommodations. I would definitely recommend Jomela to anyone looking for a great place to live without the trouble that many management companies present.

We have had a hard few months with personal things that life has thrown at us. Al in all very inderstanding as long as you keep in contact with him he will do all he can to help out!!
The manager Ryan is awesome. He is on top of his job with making sure that maintenance is taken care of and the tenants are satisfied.

Don t rent from this company! They will not answer your calls when you need repair done and I mean important repairs, you will have to go to their office to get anything done, my water heater was out for 2 weeks and after that my bathroom leaked for almost a week I had to go to the office both times to get anything done and the last time they sent the workers in with my house with me not being there and I told them that was never to happen when I moved in, my house got shot Up from being a very bad neighborhood I told them I wanted to move because of it so they tried to move me in a house that had mold in the basement and because I didn t take the house with the mold I received a letter asking me to move by 11/31/17 mine you they have been receiving their rent money every month, they haven t received not one complaint on me I ve even stopped the drug dealer from selling drugs on my porch and stopped The drug attic s from shooting up on my porch, from the time I moved in there it s Needles from attic s shooting up in the yard the 1st week I was there I received a letter from the police to clean up the needles but yet they want me to leave because I don t want to take the house with mold that s fine, if you rent the house at 1438 S. 23rd St trust me you will have the same problems plus the basement now has mold in it due to they took their time to fix the leak the floor is rotted in the bathroom, if you look on the side of the house that sits on Orcher you ll see all the bullet holes and from the looks of it that wasn t the first time that house got shot up they patch the holes from the first time and painted over them, The bullet holes are still in the kitchen they were never filled in the house was shot up in August but they never came out the Fill the bullet holes, I don t have to deal with slumlords
No marks on the scale, high crime area, poor employees/maids. Poor judgements to own and operate. Code violations, mismanagement also radicate nuisances. Arsonists in-addition-too evacuations. Neighborhood Health inspector gave the neighborhood 3.5. Me 1 because I must!
I have lived in a jomela owned property for almost 5 years now, I have had nothing but good experiences here, the managers are wonderful, they are always available to me. The couple of times I had a clogged drain or something not working right, all I had to do is send a quick e mail and they would send someone to fix it. The apartments are remodeled and look great, nice tile, wood floors and carpet in some. There are a couple of onsite repair men who are great. It's quiet here, a great place for families, also have studio apartments that are more like a studio plus. They have people who clean the hallways so the building is always clean, I would definitely recommend this apartment building to my friends and family. I've had a great few years here.

If I could give no stars, I would. This building, located at 2319 W. Michigan, and company have been nothing but problems for a full year. This property is poorly taken care of. So much so that my ceiling collapsed in my bathroom, the leaving behind mold and other gross things. Some of my belongings were lost due the the extensive amount of water that came spilling down. I was unable to use my shower for a total of three days. When I contacted the leasing office to let them know how unacceptable this was, they tried to pass it off as a 'small leak' and told me that these things 'just happen.' News flash, small leaks do not make an entire ceiling fall in on itself. When I asked about a rent credit, they told me no and it wasn't until I pushed for it that they told me they would ask. Again, there was no fighting for my cause. They just accepted a flat out no. I proceeded to call corporate and was able to get money off for my troubles. THESE LEASING AGENTS DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR TENANTS. This is only one of many issues I've had during my time here. The lock on my door was busted, making me sit out in the hallway for three hours with groceries while they tried to fix it. I had roaches and was told my sink was going to be fixed for leaking water as they seek out puddles. My sinks are still not fixed. My mailbox had to be fixed 4 times for them to get it right as the lock had busted. When it finally was fixed, they entered my apartment without a notice, left the key on the table, and didn't let me know the issue was taken care of. The security is minimal and they openly admitted to me that the cameras in the lobby are not functional, even after there was a shooting in the parking lot and an attempted break in with a brick. Save yourself the money and time. This place is a full blown nightmare.

Do not rent from here! These buildings are unkept and infested with rats and roaches. You may not see them upon showing but once u move in they pop out very angry. I have been complaining to the office for months about the rats and roaches they eat all my food and they run around in broad daylight. Under the stove and fridge are molded and black and its been that way since we moved in they said they would fix it but never have. The office does not document calls but i recorded every voicemail and Im about to sue jomela nasty properties.
Stay clear of Jomela Properties. Completely unprofessional staff with no respect for perspective tenants time, money or well-being. A company full of miscreants. Save your money and housing elsewhere!
Don t ever buy or rent from Jomela. Bought an apartment complex from them and they let the place run into the ground and the work they had done on it is hands down the worst work I ve ever seen in my life. Example the roof has been leaking for quite some time and was replace while they owned it and my roofer said whoever did it should not be roofing. Just shows how much Jomela cares. They like to patch things up as cheap as possible. And don t get me started on the spray foam. Seems like they used It everywhere and was very sloppy.

The pictures on Craigslist for swaway apartmenrs on 1st and layton are nothing like what you see in person.. the person showing the apartment was late. The entire building had an oder and was very dirty. The person showing the place was picking up trash while walking me and 3 people to the unit. When we got to the unit the oder was worse and the unit was very small. The counters in the kitchen was caving in. The floors has black crust on the edges, the heaters were in very bad condition and just not at all professional

This was a joke the manger showed me 4 apartments. None was cleaned up or "Show" ready. 2 had nasty furniture still inside. 1 was on fire during my showing(KIDD YOU NOT!) and 1 still had a tenant living there. Safe to say a cardboard box is better than Jomela .
Roof leaking for over a month. They don't return calls, they don't answer emails even when you go in person they don't do anything. I had to call the city for help. Rent specials are a lie they use that to get you in then then find loop holes to make you pay more. Beware of slumlord not worth it
Just because someone is in a bad situation , doesn't mean they always will be. Everyone isn't trash yet you treat them as such. I have complained multiple times and nothing has been done. I feel that if you tend more to your properties then you all would not have so many complaints. 2309 National is a property you all need to fix , drug users, drunks sleeping in your halls, neighbors have keys to other peoples apartments, mailboxes are broken, rodents have easy access to the building. Maybe even sex predators, Children live here and its unsafe! Are you all thinking of the safety of others or just getting a check. It seems now days there is no respect or regard for human life.

This is by far my worst experience with a Management company as well as an apartment and its accompanying building. Bed bugs and mice. The building I occupied was poorly maintained and its appearance is just not great. I believe with the cheap price, I got what I paid for. The neighbors were terrible. The building was unsecure. Adults let their children run rampant and some of them kept urinating in the elevator, some occupied the laundry room, smoking and messing with peoples' laundry. Just an overall bad experience. I wish I could go back rethink my decision to move in that building. PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY.
