After 4-5 emails he said he was able to confirm the price. I texted him telling him I want the price listed, not a penny more or less (yelp reviews show that they force dealer adds at finance and use the Bait and switch tactic) . He confirmed.
He then calls me after I unsuccessfully try to reach him. He asks me when I'm coming in. I said "look, I don't want to waste your time or mines. I don't want any dealer adds I just want the price quoted." this apparently triggered him. He claims I cursed at him, and then hangs up in my face. I call him back and asked him what curse word did I use? He couldn't reply but instead started yelling at me to find another salesman.
Do not do business here. I was going to give them a chance despite the yelp reviews but they just lost it. READ THE YELP REVIEWS. DO NOT GO BY THE GOOGLE ONES. I am hesitant to think that the Google ones are legit because of the discrepancy of ratings between Google and yelp.

Just got my new car recently from here, and they've done a phenomenal job. As I was walking to take a look at my car, Michael (I believe his last name is Schober?) came and introduced himself. He is the friendliest guy, and always making sure that I was comfortable and good the whole time. After I signed my paperwork, he would come out and make sure to introduce me to the technology of my new Honda Accord. I mean like everything from pairing my phone, radio stations, door lock and use of audio controls,... NOW IM SUPER EXCITED ABOUT MY NEW CAR. The services were 10 out of 10.
Upon entering the quick service line I was greeted quickly and courteously. I left the dealership to run errands, and I was notified shortly afterwards that the service work was complete.
Went in to get a used car and was greeted by Justino Morales. He took the time to explain everything in detail so I was comfortable with my decision. Very pleased with his service. In the end I got the car I wanted and enjoying it very much. I would recommend this dealer to anyone and if you can find Justino, do it!!!

I had in mind to buy a Honda and after visiting other dealers closest to my house I decided on the recommendation of a friend to go to John Eagle. The idea initially was to quote and get to know the vehicle thoroughly. Fortunately in addition to the attention paid knowledge and energy of the seller I guess, I ended up buying that same day. I frankly think that the service they provided me was fundamental to my decision.
By far one of the worst experiences I had buying a car. The sales people were accommodating but I had limited interaction with them. Once I decided to buy the car, I was referred back to a finance guy named Alex. My first interaction with him was fine. He was helpful but tended to just repeat the same generic lines over and over. Mostly, telling me how much he would help me and was there to build a relationship with me. The first time around, he quoted me a pretty bad financing package. I had to work him hard just to get me to a decent rate, which I had already been offered at multiple dealerships. I told him up front what other financing I was getting and even showed him the paperwork, yet he dragged the process out and made it as difficult as possible for me. Finally, I got the same financing package I was offered at other dealerships. However, to get this package, I was told I would have to sign up for the dealer warranty and GAP insurance which together added ~$2,500 to my purchase. Both of which I didn't need. I put $2,000 down so I was protected from the gap in the value of my car and my financing. I also had $30,000 miles still left on my manufacturer warranty. He lied and told me I was outside this warranty. I questioned him several times and he kept saying they couldn't get me the financing without those two things added on. i stick with it for two reason: 1) i really liked the car and was getting a pretty good deal on it, 2) I was pretty sure I could get out of the warranty and insurance. On the latter, I was right. I could cancel each policy within 30 days and get fully refunded. I did the necessary paperwork and sent it to the companies offering the warranty and insurance, which is separate from the dealership. Here is where the worst part of the experience comes in. In order to finalize the cancellation of the policies, I needed the dealership to process some paperwork on their end and submit the refund checks to the financing company. It took over a month of me talking to Alex to get this done. He played dumb and would delay getting answers for me. I had already talked to the warranty and insurance companies and they had received my cancellation paperwork and were just wanting on the dealership to submit their paperwork. Basically, Alex hadn't sent in my paperwork showing I had received the policies so the companies had nothing in their system showing I had a policy with them. This delayed the whole process. Finally, Alex submitted the paperwork after I contacted the finance manager. I should have done that a lot sooner. I have now been refunded for the dealer warranty. I have yet to be refunded for my GAP insurance. Again, I have been calling Alex and now about to call the manager. At this point, the paperwork has been completed and I just need the dealership to send my check to the financing company. This is the worst experience I have had with customer service. I would never recommend buying a car from this place. If it turns out you are getting a good deal and want to buy a car there, do not deal with Alex in the finance department. The guys is a snake and will tell you whatever you want to hear just to try and back door you with a bad deal. DO NOT DEAL WITH HIM.
I brought my 2007 Civic Si in for the paint issue in late December 2013. It's only been 2 months since it was repainted and the paint is already starting to fade AGAIN. I had a feeling this would happened since the service advisor originally told me that the car would be in the body shop for 3 weeks and I got it back in 6-7 days. There were little things as well that bugged me like my cup holders being used as a trash can (I found 3 emblems and 4-5 plastic trim pieces in there), the black rubber Honda trunk liner had blue paint all over it, and the cloth panels in the trunk had paint all over them as well. I was thankful for the loaner they provided but even that was a hassle to get since I didn't purchase the car from that dealership. I know this "Warranty" paint job has warranty on it but at this point, I'm just going to wait until more fade spots show up and take it to an independent body shop..
Do not purchase a vehicle here if you are financing. I am very disappointed in my experience, as I was misled about warranty pricing and the individual line items in my financing contract were changed in order to trick me into purchasing things that I specifically did not request. My finance rep essentially told me too bad everything is signed now. I have learned a lot through this experience but wish it on no one else.

Hello! Buyer Be aware of scam they try to pull on you with tricky stuff in car sell. First of all, they will agree with walkout price and they put different price for car in paper work. Therefore, make sure the price is correct before you sign something. They will try to convince you that price is right but do your math and don t get fooled by these scam bags. Alert Alert Alert. I recently purchased a Honda certified vehicle from John Eagle Honda. I guess I lucked out when I first called to inquire about the vehicle because I spoke to Ali Shahid. It was a new listing on their website with no photos posted yet. Ali immediately located the vehicle and took photos himself to send to me. When I told him I wanted to come and look at the vehicle he requested that I send him my information. When I arrived at the dealership, the vehicle was ready and waiting for my test drive! After deciding to purchase the vehicle, Ali made the process painless. I'm not usually a fan of car salesman but Ali was easy to like. There were a few bumps in the road when completing some agreed-upon items related to the sale, but Ali was right there helping me and making me laugh. He went way above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I am very happy with my overall experience at John Eagle Honda and would highly recommend Ali. I know when it's time for my next Honda I will be buying it from Ali!

I like John Eagle Honda so much I drive from Athens, TX to buy my cars. They were so courteous when I bought my 2007 Civic so in June I drove back to buy my 2014 CRV. I love this car with all the features I wanted as standard. The closing was smooth and courteous. The entire purchase experience was stress free and without any surprises. All questions were answered clearly. I compliment the entire staff for their professionalism. You know I will be back.
EXPRESS SERVICE: Neither "express" nor "service". I've been there twice in the last month to get my Honda serviced. The first time I was told it would be 3-4 hours before they could get to my car. Today I was told it would be 1-2 hours to get an oil change! There's too many places out there that can do as good of a job or better. Today was my last visit to John Eagle Honda.
We went to John Eagle Honda at 7:30 p.m. on a Friday night and were greeted immediately by M. Javaid. He didn't mind at all that we arrived late on a Friday evening. He scooped up the keys to the vehicles we wanted to see and helped us move around quickly. We narrowed down our decision, and he became very helpful about asking for some details that mattered to us on the purchase of the used car. We closed the deal, and he stayed through to the end (after financing) to see us depart in our new car.
The best experience from the start to the purchase of Civic. Zane was the most knowledgeable and detailed person we had ever met in a dealership. A drastic contrast with some other dealerships in the area. We were able to negotiate a discount in the amount of the service package. And they did provide a follow up several times afterwards. So A+
John Eagle Honda is the best! We purchased our fourth car from them last week. It was so easy! We handled everything over the phone and they delivered the car to our home. We were able to "social distance" outside while signing the paperwork. It was the easiest and most convenient way to buy a new vehicle.
I don t usually write reviews, especially for car dealerships, but I want to share my experience with the wonderful people at John Eagle Honda.
Purchase Experience: I purchased a new Odyssey from John Eagle Honda in Oct/2015. I did my research on the vehicle I wanted and send out to several dealers for bids. John Eagle came back with the best price while a couple of the dealers give me BS quotes. I came in for a test drive and strike a deal with Max Masab. It was the most painless exercise I ve went through purchasing a new vehicle. Even the finance guy were painless. I told him not to try to up-sell me any warranty or other craps, so he was very subtle on the up-sale, lol. I m very particular on what I want and they were very patience and courteous with me through the entire process.
Service Experience: Recently, there was a few minor issues with my vehicle so I had to take it in. Josh Costilla have me in and out in a zippy each instance. They needed to keep my car longer to fix the issue so they gave me a loaner car. There was a part that was damaged because of my negligence, but they took care of it for me free of charge. Saving me ~$600. Hands down, it's the best experience over all I've had with any dealership. They have won a loyal customer for sure.

Horrible sales experience My experience was bad. I went to check out the options I had, to lease a car, not immediately I was not in a rush. Of course you need to provide them with some basic information including your SSN. They ran my credit without even asking me if I was okay with that. I called back and tried to talk with some type of manager. I was told my signature authorized them to run my credit. I can assure you I did not SIGN anything giving them authorization to run my credit. Make sure you say beforehand to your sales person NOT TO RUN YOUR CREDIT until you make a decision. So ironic how they told me you ll comeback to us because we were honest to you. I WILL NEVER COMEBACK TO THAT PLACE
Jose Santiago has been my service advisor for 7 years now. Exceptional service every time I go for regular maintenance . I have always liked how even in his busiest times always has time to go through the details of my vehicle. I never fell pushed to buy services, but just to inform me of them. I also like his professionalism and how he pays attention to details, and he just knows how to roll out the red carpet on service. Came here to look into trading my 2013 accord in for a 2016 truck. I walked around the sales floor for about 20 mins no one spoke or approached me therefore I left. Guess I'll be going back to TN to purchase my next Honda since I'm not valued here as a customer.
Worst experience ever, CASH in hand to purchase a used car I found on Internet. I pre called to let them know I had many dealers to visit and planned to negotiate. If the price was firm I would look elsewhere as I was on a time crunch. I was assured everything was negotiable.... Once I arrived I was given a new salesman who was very inexperienced. Told him I was in a hurry and didn't want to do the back and fourth BS dance. Give me his best price.... AGAIN after being assured there was always room to negotiate.... He came back at over $2,000 more than the internet price!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! Asked to speak to Bobby who I was told on the phone would negotiate.... Not a chance!!!! Rudest most arrogant manager I have ever met! Condescending, rude, smug and sarcastic. would not budge on the price and added all the extras I would only expect to pay if financing! ABSOLUTE WASTE OF 1.5 hours I will never get back. Now it's too late to go to another dealership tonight, I work long hours and have limited time to do what most do in their free time. BOBBY, JIMMY and your new salesman wasted time I did not have because you were dishonest, assuming if you got me in your dealership I would pay YOUR price. You were mistaking!!!
Don't waste your time with dishonest sales tactics... Take your business down the road.
On another note, I wasn't just trying to get a good deal, I was expecting to lower the price due to the condition of the car... Paint damage, clock fell off the dash, hood wouldn't stay closed, transmission was having problems going in reverse..

My salesmen was Max Masab. If i ever need a vehicle from John Eagle Honda i will only work with him! Super nice and friendly and only does things on your terms which is rare in a car salesmen. Hamilton was my finance guy and he was funny, laid back & a pleasure to work with.
First time buying a new car long story short I did not buy from them due to price definitely will not work with you, agressively throw there own financing on to you I already had been approved through my credit union and did not care for theirs ..there price was about $1500 more than other honda dealerships without accessories, were reluctant to price match even with buyers order from competition which is fine shouldn't take longer than two hour to let me know they can't ...salesman Jamal specifically will waste your time have the 2 opportunities in which I was consistently lied too such as them saying if I were to purchase to a vehicle they would have to run my credit to verify I was me when I already had my own financing they were just trying to get me to finance through them which I clearly said i did not want. Save your time and your money avoid this dealer ship if I ever would be interest in a new honda I definitely will not waste my time here.
I came to john eagle honda when Joe Myers Ford was giving me the bait and switch move tryna get me to settle for something I didn't want or didn't want to pay for. Justino and manny really helped me get into a vehicle I liked. Key word that I liked. They educated me on buying a car and showed me They really wanted me to be smart. They were very cool very easy to get established with and I settled for a Honda accord 2014 lx my first time. They got me in the exact same monthly note I wanted plus the warranty. So I was happy. Few months later i needed a new car and Justino and manny guided me and showed me what I needed to do with the gap process and Justino showed me the showroom Honda accord touring 2018 and saved it for me for 2 weeks! I was surprised. He really held it down for me. So I get that car and they help me get into it real quick. I settled for a higher note thanks to the fact that I had monthly notes prior that were very cheap and gave me a feel for what I can handle. So I thought about if I can handle it and thought about how good the car looked and settled. Somethings you want you gotta sacrifice for it. Now I'm eating soups and sandwiches. Love my new car. I went to John Eagle Honda because my battery died. I was in and out in 20 minutes! My battery was replaced and the recall was done before the time given. Mike Ma is an excellent Express Service Consultant.
I haven't bought a car here but I have gotten my car repaired and regular maintenance like oil changes. Mike Ma does a great job at servicing my vehicle. I don't feel like I'm constantly getting a sales pitch (I have an old car, there are always things that need to be fixed). At the same time he will point out any issues that he find, just doesn't hassle me about getting it fixed if I don't want to fix it just yet or I want to do it on my own. He is super friendly and makes sure my car gets taken care of. I was greeted quickly and able to get a ride back to work without much wait.

I went in to buy a civic they appraised my car too low (according to KBB) and when I requested additional information I was treated terribly. I felt very disrespected when the sales manager used a rude tone through out the entire conversation, when I was just simply asking for more information. I will talk to the general manager on Monday morning, because I still believe that a deal can be made and a customer could be kept. Finally, I would suggest doing your research on your car and the ones on the lot before going in since it seems that they want to get as much profit as possible without caring about the customer so much.
Well, I am writing my belated positive comment on John Eagle Honda... We bought our first car, a CRV from this dealership in June 1st, 2014 . It was a great experience working with Biney (I hope I spell it right), Evens and Allen. We just went to try some cars, but Allen told us they have a deal for end of the month and it will be better if we buy it now and he genuinely helped us to choose between the cars based on what we needed. We ended up buying the less expensive one based on his advice! Then when he saw that I am not happy with the colors they have available in store, he managed to bring a twilight blue one from another dealership tomorrow morning keeping the same deal. He was very knowledgeable and addressed all our concerns, and related to us at the personal level. We were so happy to talk to him that we said we need to invite him over to our place!!! The finance people not as warm as this one!! they were only doing their job!! The service people are not bad, depends on their mood though!! it happened that they need to replace the mirror in my car, but they never call me back when the part was there. I needed to follow-up myself ... and Today I called to ask a question about the oil change, I said two sentences and each time the lady on the phone told me "Yes mam, it is exactly what I said, you are repeating what I just said!!" I was ... to get a confirmation from her... but it was so impatient and rude from her to talk like that. I don't know her name though...All together it was a very good experience buying a car from them, about the service I will try a new person each time to find a good one;)

I had an unexpected need for a car. I wanted to go with Honda Accord for reputation, reliability, etc. John Eagle had a great deal on a vehicle and made the entire process easy. It took a little extra time on a Saturday due to a rush and they were a little short handed in the finance group that day. To their credit, they continued to check in and update me, the waiting room was comfortable and football was on. The salesman, Sekou, was knowledgeable, polite and patient. The finance group was also polite and professional and got me what I feel was a great deal. I would recommend them for buying a car.
Jamal Morrison(sales) & George Turosik(finance) are true life savers & angels in disguise! I've bought two vehicles here in the last 6 months. The recent purchase was because of the recent flood here in Houston & completely totaled the previous vehicle.

AWESOME!!!! After a horrible and long experience at another dealership where they kept giving me the run around and kept showing me cars outside of my budget,my friend found a vehicle on the app "auto trader" at John Eagle Honda. We called and they had it in stock. By the time we got there, they already had the car pulled up and ready to test drive. There were no gimmicks. The process was fast, simple and straight forward. Our sales person, Madison, was amazing and wonderful. Location is very nice and clean. It was a complete 180 from the pervious dealership and from every other car buying experience I've ever had. I will always purchase my vehicles from this location. Highly recommended!
