The food was good prices were average it's a small bar with tables I scattered around it the food actually was really good I got the three two one seafood which was three pieces of fish two soft crabs and one giant crab cake plus two sides I don't know if it was pricey at $30 but depends on the person I would have normally gave it five stars but the fact that it's low lighting can be difficult to see for some and irritating for others so hope this helps

Great off the beaten path bar. Their soft shell sandwich is great. It not tempura style soft shell. The batter is light with a little kick. Tuesday, its $4 off worth the drive down. Beer and whiskey is very reasonably priced. Service is slow during the football games; during the week lunchtime- service is great.
Originally wrote a poor review but since visiting multiple multiple times again I have to say I m very impressed. This humble restaurant hosts a personable staff and some great deals. A terrific neighborhood hang out
LOUSY service is an understatement! Needs an all new staff with better training in CUSTOMER SERVICE that's what it's all about, and Johanns doesn't have a clue about Customer Service!!!!!!! You'll sit there going thirsty!!!!
Me and my buddy Earls had the best 24 ounce Porerthouse house steaks ever after our fishing tourney! Service was great, especiallys Ken the bartender! Thank youse!
My bf cooks there but I'm always honest. Would give 3.5 stars if I could. Food is good but certainly nothing special. Menu is boring n specials are not so special. Nice atmosphere at the bar, they have one pool table and a liquor store attached.
The food is the best part and $1 beer but however my last trip my bill showed that the beer was 1.50 for each . I ve been a few times now because the food is good and crabs but the bar servers have to do a better job at making guest feel welcome and they don t I ordered food and had to flag them down for utensils and napkins. Customer service is everything not just to the ppl you see every day
Back in the year 1990 i was about 5 yrs old.my mom would bring me in and time owner at the time would give me a handful of quarters to play the claw machine.and if i didn't win he would open up the machine and let me select a prize.
Owner is very friendly. However, the bartender there on Wednesdays is soooooo slow. If the bar is half full or more expect to wait 10-15 minutes to just place an order. Chicken Tenders suck there. Lowest grade meat I have ever had. Like eating rubber. The crab cakes are decent when they are actually broiled upon request and not fried. Out of the hundreds of bars I have been to she is bar far the slowest. My local bar has one girl full time with twice as many people and average wait time is probably 15 SECONDS. That lady needs to find a new profession.
This is a restaurant with bar and tiny carry out liquor. Recently I celebrated my son s birthday over there. It was awesome. All the staffs are so friendly including nice and best customers. Timing of service was very best. I liked it and recommend it to everybody to visit once. It is a beautiful place. Do not forget to try crab.
Bar food is average at best. Service is really bad, and I mean really bad. I had heard they were now under new ownership, so I went there with my lady on a recent Sat night when they had karaoke. The Karaoke was the reason we went, and it was actually quite good. That was the only thing good about this experience. Although we were handed menus when we got there when we tried to order food we were told the kitchen was closed except for bar food like wings nachos, etc. Who closes their kitchen at 9 PM on Sat night with entertainment?? Mixed drinks were weak and trying to get the bartenders attention for additional drinks was next to impossible. The person that kept identifying herself as the manager to everyone did nothing but play the poker machine while the two bartenders were busy texting on their phones and talking to a couple of guys at the bar. Both have zero customer service skills and acted like they were doing you a favor when they did fix you a drink. I guess they forgot that good service brings a good tip. Do yourself a favor and skip this place like the other review said serval locals saw our frustration and said service has always been poor. New owners time to wake up and get a staff that actually wants to wait on customers.
I was going to check this place out at the recommendation of my family friend while I was in the area to visit with them. After seeing the racial slurs the manager uses they will not have my business and my friend Who is local doesn t plan go there anymore at all.
Rude person named shery then a diane was very fake.. good was great here about 4 weeks ago now iys terrible not so.e the change but i won't be back my or off town friends n family i always brought here not anymore
This place is so welcoming. Both the bartenders diane and sherry are the best at keeping their attention on everyone. Never a wait. Very good bar for when your looking for a home bar. I recommend this place to everyone.
The restaurant is great and spacious, the meals was yummy and the prices were very affordable. rapidly, efficient service and very personal staff members. I recommend this place.
First time I've been there in a few years. They used to have really good food. Didn't eat there this time but. They've got a covered patio out back was picnic tables. Nice quiet little place to have dinner some drinks
The meatball sub was beyond cold and the sweet ice tea was horrible to. Not sure how you can mess that up. The only thing that was good was the mixed drink. I wont be back anytime soon to eat. Looks like i need to score a bag of herb to get rid of this stomach ache that i now have.
Okay at 130pm on a Tuesday. Filled with a bunch of angry white man screaming about back in the day. Very amusing watching red necks attempting to talk about politics.
It took 20 minutes to get to order drinks. Theee were two bartenders and maybe 20 customers, most of them at a single table. We ordered two wraps, a sub and a cheese steak. When all was said and done it took 1hr and 45mins til checkout and that was only after raising a fuss. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was my wrap at least tasted good...
This place was disgusting! I got a steak with no seasoning and it was blood shot in the middle of it like it was diseased. When I complained about it the so called manager NEVER apologized but made excuses. The plates brought to the table were dirty! Some places should just CLOSE instead of switching owners. This is a PRIME example of one! DON'T waste your money or time! Bad Service! Rude Owners! I have gotten better steak for less money! Sorry no picture of the steak because I was so appalled that they boxed it up like I was going to take it with me. As a after thought I should have taken it so it could be posted! I wish I could give negative stars! Be Ware! Eat Here AT YOUR OWN RISK!
It's a small close to home bar. Food is not bad. Service is good. Could use a lot of up dateing Bathrooms are awful. Other than that not a bad place we go often.
Nice clean place with a great atmosphere bartenders were nice and the crabcakes platter was one of the best I've ever had and reasonably priced highly recommended
This restaurant is certainly one of the coolest place to eat in the region. Every time I come to this place I am incredibly happy. They manage their high level service and the topmost level of meals they provide. You definitely will enjoy this this place. Very recommended.
When you look on MapQuest for the restaurant then click on it it says menu but all it shows is pictures that other people have eaten and put on their for the menu no prices know nothing
