Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience
We were seated in a back corner
Very dark when there was alot of open tables
We had a reservation
Our waiter knew plenty about the Stakes But then after we ordered dissapeared
But he did tell us we where waiting for hot bread .
Bread basket did come with cold bread .
So we finally asked another waitress to find our waiter .but instead a manager showed up .
We explained to her what was going on and that we just wanted our food Drinks and to pay the bill as we felt very profiled .
She returned with our drinks explained she removed them from bill and handed my husband the bill .
We had not ate . Never received our food .now I'm in tears
She got our food to us and apologized up and down then returned with a piece of cake for my birthday ..the new waiter was very helpful as was the manager .
They bought dinner .
But I have to say my food was NOT good my steak had no flavor but my husband's was tasty .
All in all bad experience Ok food.

it was such a pleasure dining at Mr. B s tonight. It was their re-opening which made it very special. Paul Bartolotta greeted each and every guest at their tables and thanked them for being there tonight, which was so kind. The food, as always, exceeded expectations. Lately I ve only been dining at Bartolotta restaurants because they their COVID precautions are extremely thoughtful and supportive of both the guest as well as their employees. When you re all about the customer and supportive of your employees so that they can be all about the customer, that s a winning recipe, and it buys my loyalty! Congratulations on the re-opening, it was a very delightful evening!

Definitely five star quality and didn t disappoint on any level. Service was stupendous with a almost perfect waiter with personality and intellect.
The food selection was vast enough for red meat eaters and seafood lovers alike. I chose the seafood but many in my group stuck with their signature steaks.
The prices definitely are high but if you compare the quality of food to other regions in the US and the value, it is not ridiculous, especially for a special occasion.
It amazes me how many Bartolotta locations there are throughout the city now, remember the very first one in Wauwatosa.

My husband and I ate at Mr. B's last Saturday night for the first time. We both had the Filet Prime, roasted potatoes, creamed spinach, and dessert. Everything was fantastic! The steak was perfect with nothing on it (except whatever the chef put on it). The sides were delicious and so was the grasshopper and chocolate cake deserts. Thank you all for a great experience, we will definitely go back again!

Food was wonderful, only reason for four stars is that we were seated within arms length of couples on both sides... kind of ruined the setting when you are either whispering or talking over the neighbors for an hour... The place was half empty at the time also. NY Strip was cooked perfectly.

The menu is very pricey, but that's to be expected considering it's a steakhouse. That said, everything I've had on the menu has been delicious and the service is really good. If you're looking to go out and spend good money on a great dinner this is the place to do it!

Really expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. They've got a steak cart and can tell you everything about each steak: Including the city it came from. Best steak I've ever had.
