Good size for events there. Hockey games are fun to watch. They also had Tool perform there, and it was freaking epic! A Tool concert is something everyone should experience at least once! If you are afraid of heights like me the higher sections are not for you. They sell different types of beer, some on tap, different sections have different food and beer to offer.

Venue looks good until you sit; small uncomfortable seats and unsafe seating for the money, my husband hurt his ankle. In addition very expensive parking, $25 per vehicle. Poor coordination to leave the event specially in the parking area. Interior staff was friendly, parking staff not so much. Will not be back.

Nice layout and good views from most of the seats. Prices for hockey games are very reasonable, most likely because the Coyotes are not a top tier team at the moment. Hopefully that will change in the near future. Everything is easy to find and there is plenty of paid parking space. Food and beverage prices are what you'd expect, high. You can bring in one sealed bottle of water per person.

Was a very good game and fun place to be. Restaurants outside are amazing, beer inside is relatively inexpensive compared to Rogers place in Edmonton. Bring a jacket, after all it is an arena!

Fun!

Great price for an NHL game, even if the stadium is only half full at times. Beers are overpriced but if you take the escalator up one level to the terrace bar the well drinks are reasonable. Also, there is a tequila bar on the suite level, NEAT.

Always a great time watching the Arizona Coyotes play at Gila River. Only complaint I have is concessions are more expensive compared to other major league sports teams in the Valley. The arena is clean, the staff is friendly, and the seating is perfect for an NHL game.

Went here for a concert - security was accommodating as usual and asked the two legal questions about my Service Dog allowed. We go here about once a month, and we've always been treated with respect and kindness by the staff.

The seating, seats, and view lines are fine. The walking path to get to seating sections is weird, non-circuitous / disjointed. I guess that happens when you construct an oval arena in a rectangular building. The food selection is limited and poor... how about some healthy options? The local signage/ guidance to find your intended parking lot is poor... and likely a bigger mess when two events are occurring simultaneously.

This place is AMAZING. There is so much to do outside the arena before the game starts you will not be bored. We went to McFaddens and the food was surprisingly tasty for pub food. There are events outside too and it s just an all around great atmosphere. Inside the arena is nice although stay away from drinks as it s $10.00 for a mix and a whopping $6.50 for a water. Other than that it is really lovely!

Had a great time at the UFC event on 4-14-2018, great seats pretty much anywhere you sit, food and drink prices outrageously high, but what do you expect at a big venue, had a guy drunk out of his mind being obnoxious but after about 10 minutes they came and made him leave, overall definitely recommend to go out and have a good time

I love the size of the arena, no matter where you are the seats are pretty good because it's not gigantic like it's neighbor University of Phoenix Stadium. Parking is available in reserved lots but if you plan to buy your parking online you need to PRINT the pass, which is frustrating. The seats in the 200 level were VERY narrow which is why I am giving a 3 rating. Imagine an airplane sized seat with less leg room, yes -- I said LESS legroom. I attended a 3 hour concert it was incredibly uncomfortable and I am only 5'4" so I can't imagine what it would be like for a taller person.

I will be hard pressed to attend an event at Gila River Arena again. I attended the Trans Siberian Orchestra which was a truly outstanding show. But the venue has a lot to be desired. We took the Glendale avenue exit from 101 per the online directions. It took over 1 hour from the time we got in line until we had parked the car and it was only 1-1/2 miles. Traffic flow was horrendous. Before going to the event I checked online for what items can and cannot be taken into the arena. There was absolutely no mention of the small pen knife that they confiscated from me. It had a blade 1 inch long. Not exactly a dangerous weapon. But if they are not going to allow them then there should be a statement to that effect on the website. Then, upon departure it took another hour to get out of the parking lot. Never again.

Visiting from California. Decided to see a concert while we are here. Bought floor tickets for pink and a parking pass. The road traffic was slow, but once we got into the lot and scored the last deserved soot, getting into the arena was a breeze. Found it interesting that the men s bathroom was converted to a women s for the concert. A black sheet was put in front of the urinals to cover them. Haha. At least us women will have smaller lines. Thanks for that!!

We saw pink and the show was amazing. The floor seats were Awesome and we stood and danced the whole time. What an incredible production. Doubt I ll see another concert that will ever top that one.

Getting out after the show was slow inside, but once we got to our car, we were out in a breeze. The $25 for reserved parking seemed to be worth it. I was hesitant, but glad I did that.

Great venue. Everything went smoothly.

On Valentine's day we went to see the Coyotes play it was raining and the security were very efficient and fast making the entrance line go fast. The girl that scanned our tickets was very polite and sweet she even complimented my make up the walk to finding our area and seats was okay it sure does get crowded in the halls! During the first halftime we decided to go use the restroom and get some food and drinks. The bathrooms were clean! Then we went to get in line for food and the poor new guy in the food court was so confused and slow he took about 10 minutes coming back and forth asking the lady that must be training him questions about how to ring up the order he was trying so hard but the lady was so busy with helping the other cashiers i would recommend you guys open more lines and have a fuller staff to avoid waiting 20 minutes for a large soda and some nachos we made it back late for the 2nd time of the game. Other than that the experience was really good!

The arena is a fantastic facility, that doesn't get a lot of love from the NHL community due to the Coyotes poor attendance. It's location is horrible for the franchise, which is a shame, as the in house presentation for the game is top notch, and the general fan experience for those in attendance was great. The service was great too, as they even reached out after the game to get my feedback on what I liked, didn't like and would like to see improved. A lot of Canadian markets could learn a thing or two in that regards.

Was here for the Detroit Red Wings vs Phoenix Coyotes NHL hockey game. Detroit won thankfully! The arena is super new and clean. Parking was super easy here at this location as well. There were several places to go after leaving the arena in this mini neighborhood around the arena. The arena does seem to be in the middle of nowhere and if you're driving here from the East valley it seems like driving forever before arriving here.

Gorgeous arena, with an amazing open upper concourse concept. Prices were a bit steep, especially for alcohol and seating in the lower bowl. Location is awful for even coming from downtown, it is about a 30 minute drive.
