Nice arena and lounge. Coyotes are a good hockey team. Too bad the arena is in the middle of nowhere.

A great place to see a hockey game! Very reasonable ticket prices, always a concession stand and a bathroom close by, and cheaper beer than most other NHL arenas I've been to!!
Pretty cool but we shouldn't have to pay for parking

,
easy access and lots of food place right by the area. not super big either so you feel like you are up close
Good place to watch a game but very hard to find an Uber
I love this arena. Not a bad seat in the house. I use the 20.00 covered parking garage near gate 2. Out of the arena and into the car in 3 minutes.
An excellent arena...too bad the Yotes don't draw a better crowd.
Went to a boxing match with my son. The facility bigger than it looks from the outside. They had your typical vendors outside and people walking around selling beer. The boxing event was actually pretty good.
Went here for the Platinum Comedy Jam and almost died I laughed so hard I really enjoyed myself with my lady.
Gila River Arena is a fantastic arena for hockey. Every seat is awesome & provides a great view. The sound system is state of the art & sounds incredible! Highly recommend visiting GRA for an Arizona Coyotes game.
Great venue for a concert. Lots of food and drink around arena
I was in line outside the arena for a coyotes game 20 min before puck drop. I was in my seat 40 minutes into the game (I went straight to my seats). It should not take 1 hour to get into the arena.
We were arriving for a nighttime event. We had a prepaid parking pass for yellow lot. Somehow we never saw signs for yellow lot. Parking attendants didnt know where yellow lot was either. We eventually parked, but not in the yellow lot.
Inside the venue it was so incredibly cold. Yes, we were there for a hockey game but, they had full on AC coming out of the vents blowing straight down on us.
We were in the 200 level, the seats were great, able to the whole game with no obstructions.
Next time, I am wearing multiple layers, a scarf, a head wrap and gloves.
Went to the coyotes game, the arena is great. The sound system is top of the line and the layout is great. 4 stars though because parking is horrendous
The venue was phenomenal! I've never had a bad experience here. The food, events scheduled, down to the parking attendant were great. I look forward to returning. Thanks for creating such a great memory!
Outstanding venue for concerts! I've seen TOOL twice here in the past 4 months, and have absolutely zero complaints about the venue or the staff. Will return time and time again!
Very nice concert venue. Good acuostics and concessions, easy parking. Sugarland was great.
18000 person capacity and it shows, this place gets going during large concerts and events.
The building is still young, therefore, it looks very clean.
We always have a great time here. Fans are pretty mild mannered for hockey fans. Where I come from we are a little more passionate about our hockey. But at least we have some sort of hockey in the desert. Service is good and it's never that crowded as it is back in northeast u.s.a or in Canada.
Staff and facilities were easy to access for my mother who is in wheelchair! One of the best concerts ever!
My daughter and myself are both handicapped. This venue is not handicap friendly.
Other than the security to get in it was fun! But we came for a concert versus a game.
The awesome venue will be flooded with mostly Navajo (The Dine ) people coming to support the 3A North Basketball teams that made it to the state playoffs. Fanatics coming to support their best Rez teams on Feb. 23 and 26, 2018 - It will be a Pow Wow to say the least!
Easy enough to get to. Navigating the building to find your seats is easy. Food was good, prices are ridiculous though! Bathrooms were clean. Beware though, you have to pay to park now! $25 for arena parking!! NONSENSE! My suggestion would be to park at the Tanger outlets and walk a little ways.
Went for the Twin Peaks, Portugal. The Man , & Cage The Elephant concert and had tons of fun!
Saw a decent hockey game here once. Overpriced food and drinks. Eat before you go. Got vertigo in the nosebleed seats because of the steep angle of the stairs.
Arena was great my first time there to see the comedy show Mike Epps. When we got to the parking they were offering Valet parking $35 are you serious???? Well guess what I still paid not to be late to the show only 2 guys for valet for so many cars. Well because of that there was a long wait. After the show it was crazy madness trying to get my keys you know why because they were not organized and prepared for all the people after the show you guys should've seen the line and then crowd around them 2 guys trying to obtain their keys so WE can go find our cars in the parking lot. so disappointed.
Have to give one star for the floor seating. Paid a lot to see Coldplay, and I could not see over heads to see the stage the entire concert! I'm 5'7 so not crazy short. Super bummed! Lighting and sound was great, but would be awesome if they figured out the floor seating.
Excellent hockey facility and surrounds, but PLEASE turn down the air conditioning. Fans should not need coats, gloves, or blankets. Or is that part of a winter simulation in Phoenix?...where it was 90 degrees today. If so, forewarn ticket buyers. Beverages, food, parking way over priced which is unfortunate, but typical. Online ticket purchase fees also outrageous.
Many restaurant options and fun after game nightlife
Not great for concert hall. Seats aren't very comfortable thought it would be cool to sit but was better standing.
If you ever come to Gila River Arena, expect a coyotes loss.
Saw a great OT game between the Penguins and Coyotes. Can't wait to come back.
Great location, especially compared to the hockey arena (Xcel Energy Center) in MN. Easy in and out, free parking and plenty of vendors for food and drinks! The seats won't win any awards for comfort though.
Clean arena and great seat no matter where you are.
Clean arena, fun hockey games and lots of choice for beer and food.
Parking, easy to get in and out of.. very nice facility.
Great atmosphere in the arena and surrounding area, went for a rock concert and had great seats for sitting. Would definitely come again.
Just wish they would open both smoking sections maybe when we get to the playoffs they will be able to afford the staff to keep them both open.... GO YOTES
Great place! Seen a really great show here. Seating is kinda uncomfortable.
Wow! Arizona Coyotes know how to put on a game! Great environment with bars all around, a splash pad for the kids, an open meetup place and an all around well designed parking/event area. Come early to be able to enjoy all they have to offer in the surrounding area. Also, Go Jets Go!
Went with the Suite this year. Parking right next to the arena, great staff, great food, great time! Thanks for hosting our Anaheim Ducks!
Average sized arena, average crowd peaks around 11k at the moment, Coyotes are moving to the East Valley, I'm very happy about that.
Had so much fun at this hockey game. It was my second one and I will be back for more. The arena was nice and the food lines weren't bad at all.
Parked in the valet parking & it worked well. My ticket got me into the VIP gate so I was able to get in and out quickly with no problems.
Cool, neat, and fun place. Great experiences there.
Awesome arena, tons of food outside, needs more concessions inside
As a coyotes fan the only complaint about Gila River Arena is the government of Glendale that sucked so bad at contract negotiation across the board, they took aim at one of the weaker built franchise's in their district in an attempt to reclaim competence. They failed, AMG on the other hand has done a phenomenal job.
Elton John concert... Fabulous! The facility was great and there were wonderful variety of restaurants close by... walking distance.
