The technician, Justin, was amazing. He was professional, kind and considerate of my home. I will diffinately ask for him in the future.

I have a service contract with JM mechanical best money I have spent they bill me every month a small amount and the service technicians are awesome they're very knowledgeable can walk you through what they're doing and let you know immediately if they detect a problem before your system your air conditioner or furnace shuts off I highly recommend this company my service tech today was Rodney very polite man explained everything that he was doing and why he was doing it I really appreciate how kind and informative he was I believe you would not be disappointed with the quality service that they give you each and every time

Sarah came out on a Saturday night really late when it is -5 outside and our furnace had stopped working. She figured out what was wrong and replaced the part. We were struggling to get hold of our home warranty company and the didn't respond until Monday evening and Sarah waited until we could contact them to know where to send the bill. Got our house warm before our pipes froze! Even when the home warranty company wouldn't help us!

J M Mechanical's technicians are wonderful. This service call required analysis of failed power to the furnace, with a possible mechanical breakdown. My JM technician, Sarah, proved to be a great trouble-shooter and was thorough in the work she performed. Not only that, she followed-up with me the next day to ensure my furnace was performing well. What I continue to see from JM MECHANICAL is qualified, professional technicians who do high-quality work.

Matthew did a fabulous job... Quick, efficient and very reasonable prices... The scheduler in the office was really good too. I will want to use them again...

Overcharged me for labor by rounding up their time on the job. From the time they rang my doorbell to the time they swiped my card was an hour. There were two techs so two hours of work. They charged for three hours say it was an hour and a half each. Charged me an extra $75 in labor that wasn't done. Then when I called and complained, I was told that it was fair because they didn't charge me parts. They used two PVC couplers that total less than 5 dollars. Disgusted by the lack of ethics and time fraud. Absolute joke of a company.

Very fast response times. Excellent service. Technician that came out was very professional, great to work with, and very knowledgeable. Was able to take care of the issue in one trip. Would definalty recommend to others for service.

I purchased a new furnace from JM Mechanical last week. Sarah and Jerry had my old one out of the basement and the new one up and running in just a couple of hours. They installed new drain pipes in better locations than the old and completely cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend them if you need a new furnace.

JM Mechanical was awesome! They came when they promised and Rodney got our air conditioner running again. Great customer service from Rodney he was efficient and answered all my questions.

Pleasant and professional representative who completed the work efficiently and in a very timely manner

They came to put in AC and they were pretty unprofessional. The first day they left a valve open that leaked gas into our house. The second day they left our door unlocked and the third day when we got back home at midnight, our front door was wide open. They split blood from a cut on our carpet and didn't clean it up until the last day, where they wiped it briefly with a rag but it wouldn't come out. They don't wear masks or shoe covers. It was all pretty disappointing, highly recommend someone else.

Update: Our landlord sent them to look at why the AC wasn't working and Matthew did a great job at fixing it up so it would work (Wasn't their installation that was the problem). Matthew was also much more professional than our last technicians. 5 star for Matthew and 1 star for the ones who installed who left a gas leak and our doors wide open.

Absolutely fantastic customer service! They are prompt in answering phones and will do their best to answer questions as efficiently and quickly as possible. When our water heater went out they had someone here same day to put a new one in (we live north of Preston), and their installers were very courteous, clean, and fast. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service. Been using JMM for years and will continue to do so. It was a joy having Rodney here to check and service the AC. I hope to see him this winter for the furnace. Thank you JMM.

Rodney came in and checked my A/C unit. Was quick and thorough. I only have one issue, and I am not sure yet what is causing it... i have had a water leak that I found later after the unit had been running for several hours...

Fast very efficient went above and beyond what was expected. Mike and Mason are experts at what they do they aim to please Andy was great at getting it going scheduled on Wednesday done the next day would give a big + to the stars. Great people and they do whatever it takes please.

Came out to fix my furnace same afternoon I contacted them. At the time of this review their service call price was less than other companies I have used.

The two servicemen who came were very pleasant and efficient. They had to upgrade the exhaust piping because of updated standards. This took so long because I had to create a new google password, sorry!

I love JM Mechanical. There service is great and they are so friendly.

Pretty awesome experience with JM Mechanical. Needed my furnace replaced, Scott worked with me and found a solution that fit my budget. During the install, my 28 year old fragile AC coil broke and was irreparable, Scott and JM Mechanical stepped up above and beyond to make it right. Install looks good and works great. Very happy and would recommend them.

I love the routine check-up service because they can detect failures that are about to happen and prevent rather than waiting for them to happen and react. It sure gives a lot of piece of mind.

The technician was very knowledgeable and even checked my batteries in my thermostat. Very professional and nice.

This was my first interaction with them. The tech arrived a couple hours after I first called and was able to quickly diagnose the issue. The motor was frozen up on our ac unit because it was old. He was was able to get it loose and, with some oil, it ran fine for a couple days while the replacement came in. Now the motor is replaced so it doesn't keep freezing up. Overall, they were timely, helpful, and courteous and it was a positive experience. Best of all, we don't have to melt in the heat anymore!

I so appreciated the tech listening to my needs. He spent the time to answer my questions and walked me through programming my thermostat and educated me on features. They were very responsive to scheduling the appt and kept me informed on their anticipated arrival date. Will definitely use again.

JM Mechanical was quick to fit me in their schedule and very nice over the phone. Rodney the technician was very prompt, came when he said he would and was very knowledgeable and thorough with his work. I was greatly pleased with his service, explanations of what he was doing and why. He was also very helpful in discussing proper maintenance and care of my AC unit. Cost was also reasonable and explained before work was done. I would definitely recommend him and JM Mechanical.

JM Mechanical boasts that they have a 24/7 emergency feature to their customer service. However, when I called them looking for an ignitor on a Sunday, they refused to sell me the part. They offered to install one, which yes, would have fixed the furnace. The problem is it is a $20 part and they would have charged $150 to install one. It is an easy install and any monkey could do it. It's far more logical to just get the part. The on-call guy complained that he would have to go "all the way to the office" to just sell me the part. Buddy, get off your lazy ass and be on-call. Otherwise your company is useless.

We called during off hours and the tech was awesome. He got our heater working again and didn't try to nickel and dime us. Great service!

These guys are awesome. Rodney came out after hours and fixed our AC unit. Took about 15 minutes and we were back and running.

I have been using JM Mechanical for all of my HVAC needs for many years. I have had them replace my furnace, install central air and perform spring and fall tune ups. Our AC went out on a hot July afternoon. I called another repair place and they couldn t fit us into their schedule for 2 days! I called JM Mechanical and Justin came within an hour (at 6 pm) and fixed the part on the condenser that was causing the problem. Our home was cool again by bedtime. I highly recommend JM Mechanical because they are prompt, fair and they do and amazing job!

The serviceman was friendly, gave me some great advice, and I wel definitely use jm mechanical for all my furnace and air conditioning needs. These guys are awesome

Friendly perform maintenance to an excellent standard never had anyone clean the pump before cleaned all the area most thorough maintenance I ve had with this company in the last five years

I don't know if I've ever experienced better customer service! Sarah has come to my house twice in the past year, she goes above and beyond and makes me feel very well taken care of. Have used them for years! Have had very reliable service at a fair price. Did a bathroom remodel and used their plumbers as well. Have always had a great experience.

We built our home in 1987 and purposely did not have central air installed. In 2003 we decided to do so. After receiving a recommendation from a neighbor we contacted JM Mechanical to install the unit which is a Trane. We used the AC unit in the summers but not consistently. We were away from our home for 6 years. Upon our return prior to turning the AC unit on we decided it should be serviced since it had been 6 years since we had used it. We called JM Mechanical & was promptly told that they no longer offered service work in the Ogden area (I have since learned that is not true but whatever) so we contacted a Trane dealer in Ogden & they provided the service. Our evaporator coil needed to be replaced. Why? Because JM Mechanical sold us an HVAC unit that was too big for out home! We needed a 4 ton unit & they sold us a 5 ton unit plus we had to get a new furnace.There are not enough vents/ducts in the home & the duct work is too small for the size of unit the sold us. So now our only option is to put in a new unit. Thanks to JM Mechanical our perfectly good unit is worthless to us & we are looking at $7000.00 to replace it!! One would think that the supposedly "experts" in the HVAC business would know the correct size of unit a home needs. We were taken advantage of by this company & it has left a very bitter taste in our mouths. We would NEVER recommend this company for ANYTHING but of course it doesn't really matter as they have our money & we have a problem. They could care less as they're making money doing substandard work.

JM Mechanical did an excellent job, as usual. Great job and fantastic people, Rodney was very knowledgeable and efficient. Repair and maintenance prices are fair and very reasonable. Rodney kept me informed and was always on time. Left my furnace and mechanical room cleaner than he found them!

My only experience with them is that they parked in front of my car for more than 2 hours so I couldn't leave. I figured when I went out and started my car and saw the guy that it would give them the hint I needed to leave and that they needed to move their van. I even saw the guy when I started my car and asked him 'how are ya' only to have him not respond and continue into my neighbor's house where he was working. After twenty more minutes I had to repeatedly knock on my neighbors house to finally get an answer (we're in small townhomes so they were right by the door) and JM mechanical's response wasn't 'oh we're so sorry' it was 'oh'. If my experience is any indication of how they treat customers they must be very inconsiderate. I was looking for someone to check my furnace and now I definitely won't call them or recommend them to anyone. Not impressed at all.
