I can't give them below 1 star bco'z of system limltations. One thing is sure they must have already decided your b1/b2 tourists visa approval or denial.t
The interview is just a formality.Another thing you must tell them lies bco'z they don't give you visa if you speak truth.Only hardcore liars would get 110% visas else everything is a waste of time and money. People applying for tourist visas please think 1000 times before applying. They don't ask u for papers but u should speak hardcore lies with fancy words & must have someone in USA & u must be married & have kids or u should be "NEERAV MODI"/"VIJAY MALYA"(in that case they won't call you for interviews). This is my experience after two rejections. But the thing of hardcore liar is true.Dont go there if you are non of the above and you couldn't speak lies with full confidence. The conclusion is thay are corrupt and thay think everyone is corrupt.Dont believe what others say bco'z they are also liars.Use your own instincts. Thanks for reading.

My experience was good. Due to high security area , no parking available here. You can deposit your mobile outside in a small cabin on the charge of 50.Thousands of people reach here for Visa interview everyday but all the process goes very smoothly. If you are on time all the process including interview will complete in one hour only.

We are group of 33 children when our interview ended our visa officer said that all visas are approved and then after two days they send us confirmation that your visa is refused and said that reason is given in refusal letter. I am shocked that first they said our visa is approved and then said your visa is refused without any reason.

Sir, I wish to share my interview experience, the gentlemen who had taken my interview was a tall young man having small hair cut. He was a nice person. I thank to US Embassy for employing such a nice person and I wish him all the success and happiness in his life from the core of my heart. I along with my wife was granted visa and I want to go to US to see the sites and wanted to observe social and cultural life of US people. I am running in 70s and my wife is 69. For visit to US, I want support to someone of my family members being aged person. That is why we applied for family visa, but my son and daughter in law have been refused. If either of them is not considered for VISA, my dream to visit US will not be fulfilled. However, I once again thank to US consulate and the young man who has granted me VISA.
Please apprised of me ,can I write a letter to the Ambassador of US in India reg some of my grievances?

Pre-interview details:

I reached the US Embassy around 8:35 am. There was a small shack across the embassy where you can submit your phones and electronic items for a charge of 50 bucks per item. I think I also saw a guy who was keeping some bags but don t know the rates. I heard the embassy officer announce that you can take your car keys with you inside but no other electronic item. He also said that ladies can carry their handbags which I think was a double standard but oh well.

They lined us up around 8:50 across the road announcing for the people of 9:15 slot. Then we crossed the road, joined a line and scanned our passports with the barcode put up at VAC before. Then we wait a bit and go inside to go through the security check. It d be good if you don t carry any leather items or belts on your person. Then we are seated inside in a semi-open area in a row based system. We wait a bit again, there s a washroom near that area and then we go inside the consulate one row at a time.

Inside they make us scan our passports and I-20 with an officer. Then we join another line to wait for the final interview.

Highly UNprofessional, why would you give an appointment if you want to declare that day as holiday later? Invite a person to your office from hundreds of miles away only to tell him, Sorry! We are closed!! Seriously, is this how US embassy works??

Nice

My feed back is as under :

My feed back is as under :
1. The payment of visa fees should be allowed to be paid through Credit card/ debit card. There are large number of the people who may not be having the facility of the payment as given in the website. Then the option of going to Axis bank/ City bank for payment at the counter is time consuming.
2. For the payment of the fees can the modality of creating profile be given up. That also creates problems particularly creating a new password etc.

Worst Place on this planet, never go there to waste your hard earn money
If you are young and have enough funds, but they will never give you visa.
Better spend money on our own country development

Basically well established in Australia while still having my Indian passport, these people couldn t digest the fact that why i was applying for US visa from Delhi and not Sydney. I was here on holidays for 5 weeks and due to some urgent offcial conference in US I had to apply from here. Twice i went to them with all the supporting documents but none of them were even glanced at. I m amused at the fact that without any document verification, how their supernatural consulates would be able to predict/ validate my trip itenary. Even comparatively humble countries ask for supporting documents and then decide their visa outcome in 2-3 days upon verifying them. With roughly 500+ candidates a day and only 6-8 consulates to attend, don t expect a fair judgement

Bring an umbrella during summer season as there is very long queue outside and they allow people in batch to go ahead. Facilities for people outside is very minimal. There is a guard shed where you can deposit your mobile phone (INR 50 per electronic item) . Not sure about laptop. Also, no provision or car parking. So better travel with taxi or with known person who can wait near by.

Visited US embassy, New Delhi for VISA interview on 14th June 2016. Everything very well organized, done in a hassle- free, friendly way. Interviewing Officers are very friendly, soft spoken and make you totally feel at home. One advise to all _ please reach JUST 15 minutes before your scheduled time to avoid unnecessary waiting.

Nowhere it was written that I had to carry my photographs with me for my Visa stamping. But the person verifying the documents asked for my photographs as if I had done a mistake. When I replied in English that my VAC appointment was the day before and my photo was taken there, he replied in Hindi that those photos were not clear and I had to submit the photos in 3 hours or else I would have to reapply for a new interview slot. Please don t assume that everyone knows Hindi. When I reply in English that means I am not well versed with Hindi. @Everyone:- Please make sure to carry passport sized photographs because the photos taken at VAC appointment is a joke. ( There is a studio 2 Km away from consulate which charges you 50 rupees per photo)

There aren t any restroom facilities available outside the consulate so plan accordingly. No mobile phones or smart watches are allowed inside and the locker charges 50 rupees per item. They let you in half an hour before your appointment time.

Thank you US Embassy personnel! You have been exceptional in helping get the 27 missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints back to the United States of America! As a father of one of these young men who has dedicated the last 21 months of his young life to the service of his fellow man. He has loved and served the great people of India and decided to do so without any previous knowledge about them. He has loved his time in India and loves the people that he has served. THANK YOU FOR HELPING HIM AND THE OTHERS GET HOME TO THEIR FAMILIES!
We will continue to pray for you and the welfare of your family also as we navigate through these troubled times.

I don t know why on Earth embassy never thinks that others are humans as well and never respects one's time. They took 16 years to process our case to interview and they needed some more time to review it before making a decision. Then at the time of the interview, they asked for some documents which we sent them with the passports then after another 2 months they gave another refusal letter and asked to fill the ds260 form again. Like this is so annoying, will they be able to give to us back those 16 years? They always have a limit to issue a visa but they never stop inviting people coz they ll stop making money and they ll never give you a chance to prove yourself and hand you a refusal which isn t even justified. Disgusting and disgraceful.

Strange people... I had gone to surrender my Green Card and to obtain a tourist visa as I don't intend to permanently stay in USA...the lady at the interview told me that she can't grant me visa as I would permanently reside there and will not come back..... SERIOUSLY ??? Why would I pay you RS 10,000 to give up my legal permanent resident and go back and stay there permanently illegally ????

I am fully sponsoring a pastor to attend a conference on a cruise ship from Miami . His visa application was rejected on the basis that he has never travelled outside India . It seems like people are very poorly treated at the embassy and this application was rejected with no valid basis .He now has to have a travel history of visiting countries outside India before he stands any chance of being granted a US visa.

Worst process to apply for visa. They just asked to make documents ready and prepared but they don't even ask to see for what purpose you are going. They take your passport and revert back to you without checking your document. There is no justified answer of refusal. Its only a piece of paper with common reply. Its a good place where american make huge money. 100s of people apply everyday. If you are interested and important to visit, don't apply in group. Maximum people in group get refused. Apply individually, may increase your chances to get visa.
