Food was just okay, the server wasn't all that freindly we felt rushed to place our order as this was our first time visiting. Watched a server take a togo customer's opened cup in to refill it instead of him bringing him a new cup, with covid going on that didn't feel safe.

Awesome hot dogs, nothing around here compares to JJ's. Staff is very friendly, prices are not too high.

I'm a Charlottean who spent years working at CMC Main on Scott Avenue and I never tried this place until I moved to Atlanta. I could kick myself! I'd probably be a few pounds heavier but I would have enjoyed many more meals!! If you're a hot dog connoisseur (and if you aren't, what's wrong with you ), this will be your new favorite spot! Next time I'll try the Chicago Dog to see if it is as good as I get in CHI-town.

Always a great place to eat something that is classic but modern.

This place is fantastic. When you come in the place has a hip feeling to it. It is small-ish but seating is generally always available with seating inside and outside on the roof. There are various types of hot dogs with various toppings, fries and, my favorite, tater tots. The food is made fast and well and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy this place a lot and would recommend it to any that love food.

Came in and I had a wooden token, got a free hot dog and a soda. The dog was worth well more than its price, it was delicious!

Great service great food. If you are looking for a specialty dog like Chicago style or just a plain ole hot dog . This is the the place to go.

All you really need to know is this was on DDD. But if that wasnt enough to convince you, they jave the nest bratwurst I ever had in my life - and I love brats so thats saying something.
Then the quarter hounder hotdog, close your eyes and bitw into it. Youll think youre eating a hamburger.

Great options and such a friendly atmosphere! A great place to go with friends to mix up your usual eating options. Definitely not a place, though, for first impressions. It's messy, so be prepared to go through a few napkins and have sauce run down your arms! If you can, sit on the roof! Great view and so unique! Definitely recommend the Quarter Hounder!

Best hot dogs in town! I'm a huge fan of the char heel hot dog and the pickle bar as well. Staff are eclectic and helpful. Make sure to go on Tuesdays when all dogs are HALF OFF! My wife and I go regularly and will be introducing our new child to this place soon as it's a great deal for the family. One of my favorite places to go in Ballantyne!

Great food and excellent customer service nice atmosphere

I got both Chicago and Coney dog with a side of onion rings and sauce. All I can say is yumm!!! This place is definitely worth the hype!

Ugh! I LOVE THIS PLACE! Coming from Columbia, SC we have Sandy's Hotdogs and this has been an amazing substitute...now my favorite hotdog spot! Sandy's still has the best cole slaw tho, but I'm in Love with JJ's...so happy to have found the place!

Tasty dogs with great service in a really cool looking spot. No complaints at all. We has fun with the kids playing sight games with all the stuff on the walls.

You can literally never go wrong with any of the hot dog choices. It's so hard to pick a favorite! Super quick, reasonably priced, absolutely delicious!

Craft hot dogs and craft beer with rooftop seating to enjoy them, that's what JJs does. The hot dogs have that perfect char and a variety of creative quality toppings.

I'm a sucker for the pickle bar too.

The specialty hot dogs are always delicious. My go-to is the char-heel. The onions strings are delicious, and the pickle bar is the best. Save room for a popsicle from King of Pops!

Dog of the Day is where it is at. Creative flavors, take a risk, jump out on the ledge, and look down. Jumping to culinary creativity what the basic Good Ole American staple the hot dog.

More than just a great hot dog place. The fries are good, the tater tots are great, and the onion rings are the best! You order at the counter, get great service, and then they bring your food right to the table. The condiments are diverse, and extremely good.
Try the pickles with jalapenos!

Not being a fan of the hotdog in general, I have to say I was pleased. A good dog with several menu options. The tots and onion rings were excellent. Clean tasting and crispy. Service was quick and friendly.

Absolutely a must visit if you are a DDD junkie like my wife and I. We always visit the DDD joints when we travel and for some reason have not been to this one that is located in our hometown. We got the Chicago, Senora and the chili chz dogs. The senora was just ok as we have had them from the source in AZ. The Chicago was hands down the best and I grew up in IL so I have had many. And the classic chili dog was really tasty. Also had $3 local craft big cans.

A great local place with some tasty hot dogs! I've only been once but would gladly go back when I'm in Charlotte again.

Had lunch there today, dogs were great , but the onion rings were fantastic.

Expensive for hotdogs but good. 2 dogs and a side for 10 or 11$ I think it was. Good fountain drink selection. Onion rings seem to be cooked to order and made from scratch.

This is a great hot dog stand. They even have a roof top seating area. They have some what of a Hardrock cafe vibe in here as well. The people working here were able to do some gluten free accommodations. This place is also somewhere where you can get away with eating for relatively less money.

It was clean. The service fast and friendly. Their homemade brats were excellent and had a great flavor. The pickle bar was the bomb.

Always love this place and there various style of hotdogs. Always quick and good.

The Smoke Salmon Sliders were delicious. I'm on a Low Carb Diet so I took them off the bun and put them on top of a House Side Salad with House Pickles and Pickled Onions. I'm looking forward to trying their grilled Chicken Strips next time.

First of all let me just say, the parking here is TRASH! I ve tried to come here multiple times and every time I circled the lot twice, got frustrated, then left.

This time I circled the lot like 5 times and I finally got a park. If I didn t have my mind made up that I wanted a hotdog then I would ve left. Parking is so horrible and if you have been here you know it s hard it is to circle around the lot, it s a tight squeeze for even a compact car.


Now on to the food!!!

It was AMAZING! On Wednesday s they have $2 hotdogs, so as you see, I have 2 along with some fries. The customer service was AWESOME and the wait was nonexistent. By the time I made me a cup of sweet tea they were bringing my hotdogs out to me! I was uber IMPRESSED!

Most definitely visit this place. I know, parking sucks! Don t get discouraged though... it s worth it!

I got the two dog combo deal for $9.49 and a homemade lemonade for a dollar more. Came up to $11+tax the service was good. Hot dogs are good and so are crinkle fries. Nice setting as well. They have a rooftop patio and a lower level patio and they serve alcohol beverages.
