Hot dogs are disgusting . . Wings were over cooked.but the service was ok..the fries were ok..but overall this place is overrated. And i think the reviews are staged.. very disappointed..we didn't finish we just thew it away and just accepted the dissappointment.

First visit here so I didn't particularly know what to expect. It wasn't expensive and it certainly had the 'just kickin' w/ some brats, beer & buds' feel going for it. I'll be back when diwn on East again I'm sure.

My wife and I drive from Salisbury at least once a month to come here. Being from Western NY and being able to get a Sahlens hot dog is awesome. The variety that JJ s has is great and we are always greeted with a smile.

A unique and delicious hot dog restaurant! You start with a basic hot dog and can choose from a variety of toppings to make a salty, spicy, or sweet hot dog. You can even build your own. All of their food is fantastic! $2 dogs on Tuesdays. Casual atmosphere, quick service, order at the counter type of restaurant. I can't wait to go back!

Had a pleasant lunch. Food prepared exactly as ordered. Staff very friendly and helpful. Service was fast, but we were the only ones there that afternoon.

Great first time here. The staff was super nice and the salmon sausage (ground up fresh salmon) sliders were delicious! I came for the veggie dog but decided to try the sliders instead when I found out they were strictly salmon. I wasn t disappointed. I ll be back for the veggie dog.

Hot little lunch spot. Good dogs with lots of options. Must try on my list of lunch spots. Small parking lot.

When the lunch group wanted to eat at jj's hotdogs I assumed that the only thing on the menu would be hotdogs. When we arrived the menu's diversity surprised me.

Not the same JJ's anymore. Looks like insolvency or a transparent profitability move. Best dogs on the menu have been axed, menu is down to about 6 fairly basic dogs (Basically your standard Chicago dog + Chili), onion rings are gone as well as most of the distinctive toppings.

DO NOT USE THE ONLINE ORDERING/APP, menu is wrong and "not hooked up to the store" so my order for coworkers became chaos.

Will not return, now just a standard hot dog stand offering with a physical location. RIP Sonoran, Whistle Pig, Southern Girl, etc.

Specialty hot dogs - its hard to mess up a hot dog! Overall, always a good experience.

My first time here and I liked it!. However the house chips were not very good but the Italian sausage was very good.!

If you are looking for a really good dog then JJs needs to be on your list. The place is great; food, design, atmosphere, this place hits it all. Casual spot with retro decor. That is if you consider 80s to 90s retro. The food always hits all the marks. The hotdog selection is top shelf. The new brewery series of special designed hotdogs is an amazing addition to an already great menu.

Weekly stop, great food and consistency. Prompt service and great weekly specials.

I stopped in on my way to Savannah, Georgia looking for a quick bite. The beer was pretty good, and I ordered 4 different hotdogs. Pretty solid food but I think this location may be a little understaffed.

These are not typical hot dogs. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The most basic dog is awesome, but they do a good job interpreting other American classics without trying to match them exactly. The pickle bar is a nice touch.

FAST, FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL! Food is always top quality and served with a smile. Anytime I'm in the area I always stop by and get a bite to eat. YOU ARE MISSING OUT if you have not tried this place yet! Roof top seating available, easy access and in a great safe area. Nice spot to just sit back and relax and enjoy the great Charlotte atmosphere with some great food.

Just okay. With the hotdogs where made with care the onion rings where too soggy.

The closing times are wrong, they actually close at 8pm.

Food was fast and good also only problem the young guy didn't listen good for my toppings on my hot dog other than that it was good.

Just ate at JJ's for about the 10th time and I have to admit that it is the BEST Hot Dog in the Carolinas, Hands Down! I have tried a lot of different combos but my favorite is Chili, Slaw, Onions, Pimento Cheese & Deli Mustard...Great draft beers...My kids love the Shakes & Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich plus the Cherry Limeade & Orangeades are awesome! We will be back very soon. Keep up the good work!

I never thought Hot dogs could be a theme restaurant on its own but this place pulled it off and the food is absolutely amazing!

This place is starting to branch out into more neighbor hoods and for good reason. A great eclectic hotdog is just what this area needed. You'll only truly appreciate the hotdogs if you get more than the chilli slaw and onions. Try the odd balls. They didn't put them on the menu as a joke. the combos truly work to change the way you look at a hotdog! Also my wife says the brats are awesome but I'll stick with the "sonoran real nice".

Hot dogs were good, not great, nice char on the outside tho. I'm a fan of more traditional dogs (meatsauce and onions) which this place does offer but caters more towards the specialty dogs.

Got a side of tater tots with cheese sauce. They were soggy and not what I was expecting.

May be better next time. Will go back.

Not what it used to be. They are making changes, and they aren't good. Way less toppings than their pictures, and their ingredients are different or options are disappearing.

Love their dogs. Sometimes the toppings are over loaded, but it's easy enough to pull some off the top. Definitely enjoy coming on a regular basis.

Gteat joint to grab a gourmet dog. They have a menu item that wil please anyone. The staff was very friendly and gave some wonderful suggestions. We were in from out of town and they helped us navigate some of the menu intracacues. When we teturn to the area, we will be sure to return.

It was a nice sit in diner with the option of takeout with some classical music in the background, honestly I'd recommend to anyone especially the old school type of fathers where u two can sit and enjoy a delicious bite to eat.

Great Food. Great Fun. Great Environment. A wonderful quick escape from the office.
