It's still Triple-D worthy years later. The creative combinations of dog toppings mean that there's something for everyone, and the foundation of a red-hot or sausage link on the fluffy bun means any choice is a good one. Try the spicy pickles and ginger carrots to snack on while you wait, and be sure to have some of the brewed in-house sweet tea.

My father in law has been trying to get me to JJs for almost 2 years and it's definitely worth the hype! I'm not a big hot dog person, usually I've got to really be in the mood for them, but I think I could eat JJs at any time. Plenty of variety and now they've got hot wings and riblets! We ordered the nuclear wings and I thought for sure I was going to regret it, but for carolina reaper sauce, it wasn't as painful as I thought. They were actually really good! And make sure you try the picked onion by the drink bar. Not only is it florescent pink but it's I credith tasty!

I had not been to this location on East boulevard since the start of the pandemic here in Charlotte North Carolina and the force lockdown. I was so ecstatic to go back and it felt like going home to see family and friends again the food was phenomenal the service was excellent and the atmosphere was just a little sterile. The soul had been slightly sucked out of the place but I know that it will make a return but it is an excellent place to visit and enjoy an amazing hot dog.

This is one of my favorite places there are only a few places to get a really good hot dog and this is one of them. The best is Chili Man of course, but he isn't open all the time so J.J.'s Red Hots is always a great alternative. I am basic when it comes to hot dogs so can speak to their specialty dogs, but the Hot Dogs are made from quality beef and their fries/onion rings are really good. Prices are fair, free parking, and plenty of seating. They also have a pickled bar where you can get different pickled veggies to put on your dog free of charge.

I do wish they would open a store more in South Charlotte because both this location and the one in Downtown are pretty close to each other.

Amazing local hot dog restaurant. The menu is always fresh with new specials. Try the hot pickles and ginger carrots. The Southern Girl is a favorite. They have Cheerwine on tap. A fun outdoor seating area on the roof.

This is really convenient for me when my boys and I leave Freedom Park. They love hot dogs and this place has a variety of ways to dress your hot dog. You can sit inside, on the little side patio or tge rooftop area outside. So they are a go to for me and my family!

I had a Bratwurst it was undercooked and burnt at the same time? I had a beer and it was okay, but the food was nothing to talk about. The workers were nice, but I do not recommend this place because of the food.

Very good brat. My husband had the hot dog and he is very picky about his hot dog . He loved his hot dog and the tater tots but my fave were the pickled peppers, house pickles, pickled red onions from the pickle bar. We will eat here again mos definitely.

The turkey hot dogs were great. I just wish they would put turkey chili on the menu. They also have a variety of beer. Two hot dogs and an order of fries cost $11.99 and 4 beers were $10. I'll be visiting again soon.

We always eat at their little cart in front of the DOG HOUSE on game day for the Carolina Panthers because the hot dogs are amazing and today we actually drove by their restaurant that we didn't even know existed, so we made a quick upturn and stopped in. But yet to fail again because they had even more on the menu and it was outstanding!!! This is a must when in Charlotte!! I highly recommend this place. It is clean and the service is excellent!!
