It's "just hotdogs" but they have so many different varieties. It's great for lunch. Would definitely recommend stopping by and at least trying a couple of dogs.

Excellent food, great customer service and the outside patio has a great view.

This is just not your regular hot dog joint.
A visit there is a visit to hot dog but a dining experience. So many choices of hot dogs its tough to make a decision.

$2 Tuesdays is the BEST! Everyone loved their specialty hot dogs and I loved my barracha beans salad. Staff was friendly. Restaurant is clean and hip. Will be returning!!!

The Charheel is simply the best hot dog I've ever eaten. The place is family-friendly and the service is fast and efficient.

Great eats 4SHO and I definitely recommend this HotSpot. Also remember JJ's Red Hots was on Triple D, Diners, Drive-in's, & Dives!!! And they serve Tater tots HOTDAMN yeah..

The fries were good I had the chicken tender basket but the tenders weren't seasond that well still good but a little sad

Food and service was everything I wanted it to be on the whole. Only complaint I had was that in arriving just after the lunch, several tables were in need of a wipe down, and didn't really see anyone doing this while I was there. Even so, I still wholeheartedly recommend a visit.

When I have the taste for a hotdog this is the place I go to. Nothing more needs to be said.

Horrible!!!! Got the chilly coney...chilly was left off, dog cold...just bad all around! Chicken brat was absolutely disgusting! Both my guy and I agreed that we wouldn't be returning! Not my first time but probably the last. Maybe they had kids back there working today or just an off day. $23.00 bucks down the drain :(

Onion rings were incredible, sausage platter was dried out and lemonade tasted watered down. I'd go back to try them again though.

They take something I never thought much of(hot dogs) and make me crave them. Excellent food! Pickle bar is icing on the top.

JJs is great for a local quick bite. Always good always consistent quality. This place always solves the "i can't decide where to eat" argument with the wife

Never had a bad experience here. Come for unique dogs and a full stomach.

This is a cool place with friendly service. I am not a fan of hot dogs, so I had a brat with queso and a side of tater tots. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to the table. Drinks are self-service. The brat was excellent and was delivered promptly to my table. I honestly would have preferred to wait a few more minutes though, if it meant the tots would be cooked more thoroughly. Some of them were cold inside. The early 90's music (Wilson Phillips, Bon Jovi) was a nice touch to the atmosphere. I would definitely give this place another shot, but I would specify that I wanted my tots cooked well done.

The kids meals are terrible! Example: Who likes a PBJ on a hotdog bun?! Tater tots were overdone and hard! I do not recommend this restaurant

It's family friendly and the hotdogs are great! It does get busier on weekends and nights.

Bathrooms were not clean and looked liked COVID-19. Horrible service food subpar I used to be a loyal customer here never again.

Very good hot dog restaurant. I had 2 Coney Dogs, chili, and fresh lemonade. The hot dog chili was good, their mustard is great. The hot dog on the bun had that snap and great flavor. The chili beans I had for a side was good, I added some hot sauce. I tasted my wife s coleslaw and it was very good (mayonnaise based). It s a little pricey at 10 to 15 per person. Eat on the roof, it s a great view.

Best hotdogs in town! The cheese fries are a must order item too. They have a great house made pickle bar that is a perfect compliment to whatever you get.

Best vegetarian hot dog around. I love their Chicago dog. The atmosphere is great and the people are friendly. He's also has awesome specials.

The food was amazing as always. What made this visit different was how great they implemented social distancing in comparison to other food establishments.

Best hot dogs! They have a good variety of toppings and the fries are great too. Love the rooftop deck! Parking was ample as well considering the location but I could see it filling up quickly during their busy times. Definitely recommend!

Great atmosphere, great food, nice staff, clean bathrooms.

We have never been here before and as we walked in, there was a menu board with so many hotdogs and sausages it was difficult to pick.

We had to ask the guy working the register on which was the best. His first pick was the The Char Heel and his second pick was the Chilli Cheese Coney.

We grabbed our fountain drinks and sat down and within a few minutes, our dogs had arrived. The first bite of the chilli cheese coney was quite good! I then went on and tried the Char Heel and it too was very good.

I must say we were impressed with JJ's Red Hots. Next trip into Charlotte and we will come back.

Who doesn t love hotdogs!? Every Tuesday is $2 hotdogs! The puppy-dog batter is soooooo good, and the beer selection is small in quantity but high in quality. The service is excellent, hands down, one of our favorite places to eat in Charlotte!

after having one of the bottles that were improperly secured ruin a $125 sweater. I brought it to the attention of the manager Darren that stated they would make it right. He just had to speak with his owner John and then they'd be in touch. I did speak with the owner John and he was very hesitant to believe my story and sounded skeptical but he'd look into it and get back to me. 7 days later no reply. I called several times with no return call and finally wrote some reviews. afterwards owner Johnathan Luther sent me a reply email stating due to my reviews he is not interested in my loss and rather lose me as a customer. There are soo many good restaurants in the area. Go to one that cares about their customers. support local and boycott JJ Red hots
