His sales team manager Darrow was also great with working on the closing price. Best decision i have made and very satisfied with there customer service. I didn't feel pressured and was conformable the whole experience! thanks Billy

Pleasant car buying experience with an extremely courteous and professional associate, Kenny Gaynor. Kenny went above and beyond during every interaction even after purchasing the vehicle. I highly recommend searching for your next car here, especially if the rest of their staff is as patient and helpful as Kenny was!

Update: unfortunately the service at this dealership completely drops off after vehicle purchase. It was like pulling teeth to get communication from them. I only had my car for two months and the battery died late at night on a Tuesday. I work full time daily and could not get any updates from them until 12PM the next day when they explained that they would need to keep the car overnight for a day or two. The Enterprise I was sent to for the rental vehicle could not reach the service department after multiple contact attempts for a question they had about my rental. I tried to speak with a service manager and sales manager multiple times to air my frustrations and concerns but none of them answered and I was continuously sent to voicemail. Approximately three hours after picking up my rental, my service advisor called quoting over $400 for a new car battery which is absurd. He then explained that I had less than 24 hours to not only pickup my vehicle, but to also return the rental car. After getting my car back, the tire pressure light and warning came on the same night I drove home. The whole process was an inconvenience and they were absolutely no help.

I've been going to Hyundai's Service Center for years due to my warranty. The first few visits, I was underwhelmed by their customer service but continued to go due to my warranty. In the past year, their customer service has taken a noticeable turn and become exceptional. They are extremely accommodating to customers with busy schedules. They will communicate with you via text and allow you to pay online ahead of time. If you're running late to get to the service center closes, they will pass along your keys to the dealership with later hours. This may seem like a small change but due to Atlanta traffic it can be a life saver! I always get multiple opinions of maintenance issues and have always found their inspections to be honest and fair. I would recommend making the trip to Hyundai's service center even if you have closer, more convenient service centers.

I am very impressed with Jim Ellis Hyundai. My car needed service and in light of the COVID-19 I was very hesitate to go out but it was a great experience.
Everyone had masks on, temps were checked as you entered the building and social distance was maintained

I was very happy and of course love my Hyundai and was very happy with the service all around.

I can't say enough good things about Jim Ellis Hyundai! I purchased a 2011 Sonata there in 2014. It just turned over 100,000 mile never had a lick of trouble with it. Then on Easter Sunday it died. I had it towed to Jim Ellis where they informed me that I needed a whole new engine! BUT even though it was over 100,000 mile they replaced it under warrantee for FREE! It was done earlier than they estimated. They even paid for my rent a car. Outstanding service and communication rarely seen these days. Thank you!!

I honestly can't say enough or give enough praise to this dealership!!! Not only was my salesman AMAZING (his name is Saban), everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I loved the honesty and compassion i was shown.
Before coming to Jim Ellis Hyundai i had visited a few other dealerships looking to trade my car in and get something new. Those dealerships gave me the blues and just made the whole car buying situation negative.
I came across this amazing dealership online, called and spoke with someone from the internet sales department, she was so nice and courteous. I came in that same day and met with Saban. Let me tell you this, Saban changed my outlook on salesmen, with his honesty and compassion he left a mark on my heart and in my life. Now i know what you are going to think, that's one person.... yes but while looking around i saw salesmen interacting with customers in such a positive manner and it was so was refreshing.
From the moment i walked in till the moment i drove off the lot in my car i was taken care of. Questions answered. Friendly demeanor and a positive environment. Thank you Jim Ellis Hyundai for making this car buying experience great, i am so grateful for each person i came in contact with!!!!

Jayla was wonderful for answering quest by phone and email to help narrow down which models I would be interested in. Lawrence was a great salesperson! No pressure at all, and helped me talk through my options. He was extremely knowledgeable about the car, and helped show me the features, well after he should have been off work and at home. He even offered for me to come back after I learned some of the features to that he could help teach more (there are so many!). Mark in finance helped make even the signing of a million documents a pleasant experience. Car buying is never a fast process, but it was a great experience. I never felt any pressure from anyone. I highly recommend them when you are looking to purchase your next car.

This was the second time I had my car serviced at Jim Ellis Hyundai and I was not disappointed. It was a routine oil change and tire rotation. They have a shuttle service available but I choose to wait at the dealership. Matt came out to let me know that the drive belt on my Santa Fe was bad so I had that work done too. I was in and out in an hour and a half and had great service. This is now my new Hyundai service center.

I came in knowing what I want, they moved fast to get the work done and get me on my way with a new car. Sam Patel the finance manager was great, staying after closing hours to set the deal. All people I came in contact with were A1 with their treatment of my wife and I. No pressure and I would be stretched to find a way to make it better.

The only improvement I could suggest would be to find a way to shorten the time it takes once a deal is reached until the paperwork is done. I do realize most of it is government mandated, but still.

I have given this location so many chances to make...

I have given this location so many chances to make things right. Big changes need to be made starting from management all the way down the line. The Service department is inconsistent and is absolutely a hassle to deal with. I dread bringing my vehicle here when I have to. It feels as if because they know they are the major Hyundai dealer in the city that they can do and say whatever they want. If your not spending over $1,000 at a time please expect to get lackluster service. The Service department employees act entitled and as if you owe them when spending YOUR money. The Cashiers are lazy and rude. They never answer the phone and I have had to call 6 to 7 times back to back in order to get someone to answer in order to do something as simple as make an Appt. Everyone is fake and no one really wants to do their job. Why apply to be in a customer service position if you don t care??? I don t know what it will take to get this location in shape but some MAJOR changes are needed and they needn t to begin with the service department team. I will be reaching out to cooperate at this point because my most recent experience was absolutely disgusting. I m not sure if there is another location but I would much rather driver over an hr to get a smooth & simple experience versus deal with this location. Management needs to crack down on the service department!!! Unpleasant experiences add up.

My service detail was a bit challenging, took a little longer than usual because of that a gnat of some kind in the engine. The specialist could not trace the problem, but I was very comfortable while waiting in the room. Matt was so gentlemanly, patient, and tirelessly running updates for several customers all at once. Upside? I was extremely pleased with everything at this Hyundai dealership!... I have never been disappointed in all my 7 years! Thank you, my #1 car dealership in the USA!

Because of CONVID-19 and my wife having a autoimmune condition , I negotiated everything over the phone. Had the price of my trade in worked out. I had my financing worked out. And had a Out The Door price that was agreed upon. Test drove the car and everything is going good , and of course I am presented with a price 2k over what I was quoted. When I questioned it, they disappear into the managers office. I have to go hunt them down after 30 minutes for them to tell me they were not going to honor the price I was quoted.

Here is why I gave 2 stars. Not because they would not honor the price. Maybe someone made a mistake, it happens. But because no one came to tell me it was a issue. They just left me hanging with my wife and daughter wondering why its taking so long. The sales manager never came out to let me know what the issue was. They just sat their in the office. I felt like it was some sales technique from like the movie Fargo. Like they were watch the gophers hockey game , while I am twisting in the wind. Maybe they were putting some undercoat on the car, who knows.

The front desk was nice, the sales guy was nice and everything else was what I expected. But when I have a quoted price from the dealership, and I take a day off of work to come buy that car because of that price, and you cannot honor it, you really need to do a better job of communication. It's a trust issue.

Update: a week later I went to Gwinnett Place Honda and did everything over email and text, and when I got there just signed the papers and drove off in my new car, just like how it's supposed to be.

Dwayne Palmer was our salesman and he was excellent! He listened to every single thing we told him and found the exact car that fit our budget. We told him we wanted to keep our options open and went to the Kia Dealership down the street and received horrible service. We came back to Hyundai and finished where we left off and found an even better car! Hau-B gave us great customer service and was excellent as well. Everyone we encountered at the dealership provided awesome customer service and we recommend this dealership be your one stop shop!

I came to Jim Ellis for an oil & filter change as well as a recall service. While waiting, I saw my previous sales rep, Chris Dallas, and we struck up a conversation, during which Chris lightheartedly asked if he could sell me a car today. Somewhat taken by surprise, I replied, If the bottom line was right, yeah! He asked what I had in mind. I told him I had my eye on a 2013 used Genesis I saw online. Chris was able to come to a price that was acceptable to me and the Finance Office was able to get me an extremely favorable interest rate on my loan. The whole process was painless and very efficient. I was impressed especially with how easily all the paperwork was handled. Everyone I had contact with was friendly and efficient. This is somewhat rare, I've found. Overall, purchasing a car couldn't have been easier. Keep up the good work!

Jim Ellis Hyundai in Atlanta is the best! They greeted me when I first came in and explained to me what they did to rectify the problem. The waiting area is always so clean and provides a comfortable environment while waiting. I know it is a small thing but I really appreciate the car wash and the vacuum as part of the service. It is the little things that I pay attention to and make me come back.

My service manager, Danon Henton, was awesome! This was my first experience with Jim Ellis Hyundai, and it wasn't under the best circumstances: My car suddenly wouldn't start at random time, and two other mechanic shops (one was another dealership) couldn't figure out what was wrong! In less than five hours Danon and his team trouble-shot a battery issue (how did the other guys test my battery life at 90%?!)

I'm used to having to call the dealership to get updates, but not here! Danon sent me regular updates via text-message, which I could easily check and respond to during my busy work day!

My wife and I purchased a certified 2015 Hyundai Sonata Limited to replace a car that was totalled. We really only went in to test drive a few cars because it was about 8PM when we arrived, but my wife fell in love with the Sonata and all its safety features. Despite how late it was, Daimien Solomon and Hau-b Cao gave us a spectacular buying experience that was quick and painless. We took the car home that night after a quick detail (props to their detail department for hanging in there, too!) and we've never been happier with a car purchase.

I recently shopped at Jim Ellis Hyundai to look at a certified pre-owned Santa Fe Sport. Julio Cruz was my sales associate, and I have to say it was one of if not the most positive car buying experiences I've ever had.

I had a car to trade in and the valuation process for the trade allowance was very straightforward and easy to understand. there was none of this mysterious 'let me go see what my manager can do' b.s. Julio and I walked around the car together agreed on what he found and he walked me through the online Kelley Blue Book valuation process. the valuation he arrived at was the same one I had arrived at... and that was the offer they made.

the online advertised price for my new vehicle was already quite fair so I felt no need to try and haggle. I have NEVER not haggled when buying a new car before.

the credit application and financing part of the process was equally as straightforward and clean.

I highly recommend this dealer and the way they do business.

I visited this dealership yesterday evening to look at a vehicle. The sales man, Shannon Smith was a very very nice man. Waited for me outside on a rainy day and had the car ready for test drive, humble and knowledgeable about the vehicle and just pleasant man to work with. However, his sales manager, Kevin Prevost was NOT as nice as Mr. Smith. He told me a couple of times that he was "helping me" with sort of arrogant attitude. He may be right that he was "helping me" but at the end of the day, we are the ones paying his bills. We are the ones "helping him" and not the other way around. It is shame that there are people like Mr. Prevost thinking that he was "helping me" at Jim Ellis Hyundai Dealership.

Reached out to the dealership to inquire on a used car. Initial contact was great and was asked to bring my car in for an appraisal. I was traveling so my wife took the car to the dealership. After about an hour, the dealership kept pushing for her to buy a new car, not the one she wanted to look at. They also refused to give her an appraisal of her car since I would be the one negotiating price. Sales person, Karen, was very rude and disrespectful to her. Will never recommend this dealership.

I love my G80!! They sell you on the concierge service and it does not happen!!! I called to book my service and was told those appointments are not anytime soon. No problem!!! I told them I had no problem bringing the car as long as they give me a car. Waited 5 days for the appointment. Got to the appointment on time. They did not have a car for me!!!! They had to get a car from Enterprise. Had to take the shuttle to the location. Took 1 1/2 hours just to drop my car off!!!! Then when my car was finished they 1st told me they would deliver my car to work. Then an hour later they changed that story ! I was asked to bring the rental car back the next day. I had to get someone else to take the car back. When they got there they said on can you please drive the car to Enterprise. Of course we told them no!! The service people are very nice!!!! But they can only do what they can!!!! Not sure if other dealerships handle things this way but I will find out! DONE WITH Jim Ellis!!!!!!!!!!

I have had my first vehicle serviced here and they have always been professional and we intend to go back with our new Santa Fe too. Highly recommend them over other Hyundai dealerships! I purchased a used Santa Fe Sport from this dealership. Overall it was a pretty good experience. The price point for their certified vehicles seems reasonable but do not expect to see any reductions on the price from what you see on their website. They say that they beat the price by 2% within a 300 mile range.

I worked with Don Wood at this dealership and he was a very nice person to work with.

This was my first service visit at 7500 miles. I made an appointment two weeks prior for 7:30AM. Some people may think I'm crazy, but I drove 2 1/2 hours to have my car serviced at Jim Ellis. I bought my 2017 Sonata from Jim Ellis 6 months ago, and was very much impressed with them then, so I decided to have my first service there also. I was not disappointed. They opened promptly at 7:30AM and Danon Henton, my Service Advisor, got the process started immediately. I waited in the nice lounge area and my car was ready in 90 minutes. I was impressed with Danon's professionalism and friendliness. In fact, I was impressed with all the Jim Ellis staff I met there. They exceeded my expectations. My invoice detailed all the work and inspections that were done, including a battery test and complementary hand wash and vacuum. That was a pleasant surprise to see that the car had been washed and vacuumed! I certainly wasn't expecting that. Thank-you Danon Hinton and the service people behind the scenes who took great care with my car. I will definitely return for my 15,000 mile service.

This is my first Hyundai and my first visit to this location. I am so happy with my Tucson and the service provided! Mike Ennis is one of the best service advisors I have ever dealt with. He is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and kept me updated on the progress. Everyone at Jim Ellis Hyundai is super friendly!! Thank you!
Addition: my second service appointment was just as awesome. I only have great things to say about Mike and everyone else at this location. I'd give more stars if I could.

My last visit has been just as great as the others. My favorite advisor, Mike Ennis, is the best! He's always happy to help and to answer all my questions, is very professional and I always feel comfortable, knowing he takes great care of my car. I would still give more stars if I could!

Every visit in the service department has been great! Mike always keeps me up to date on the status of repairs and options available. Wouldn't leave my car in the hands of anyone else. Thanks Mike!

I'd like to recognize Saban Dawood for his excellent customer service. This was, by far, the most enjoyable car buying experience that my wife and I have had. Saban has expert knowledge of the entire Hyundai fleet, he helped us find the best choice for my wife's new car, and worked with us to close the deal in a timely manner. We appreciate his follow up support and I look forward to keeping in touch with Saban for any of our service needs. We will continue to recommend Jim Ellis Hyundai and Saban Dawood to all of our friends and family.

Usually at car dealerships you get better service ...

Usually at car dealerships you get better service but end up paying more. Here, you get bad service but still end up paying more.

I've been here quite a few times. I'm sitting in the waiting area for 4 (5...,
5 hours 30 minutes) hours waiting for a car-wash and oil change at this point. Decided to write something about my experience.

On one occasion my car got lost in the lot in what should've been a simple pick up. I dropped my car off the day before, waited until it was ready, and drove in the next weekday to pick it up. What should've taken 5 minutes took 45.

On another occasion a service rep specifically told me that something was gonna be covered by warranty. Rather than being covered by warranty I was invoiced for a few thousand dollars. Thankfully this was easy to catch and fix but who knows what other things are off that I didn't?

You'll also get to look forward to being upselled into getting things you don't need. Due to the "severe driving conditions" of Atlanta the service interval for my car had to be drastically reduced. Wonder why?

All of these constant mistakes make me wonder what's actually happening to my car.

As soon as my warranty's up I'm never setting foot in this place again. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. At the very least some other dealership.

Of course, your experience may be different but Jim Ellis Hyundai Service has consistently under-delivered for me.

My one star, the service reps appear to actually care about you being happy but I think they're in over their head.

We were visiting our son's family in Roswell and planned to return on Sunday to MO (our home). Danon prioritized our service and within an hour a diagnosis of a malfunctioning throttle was made and a new throttle was ordered and flown in the next day (Saturday). Danon arranged for a rental car from Enterpise across the street from the dealership, a process that also went smoothly. Danon also came in on Saturday (his day off) to make sure our SUV was serviced properly. Fortunately our service was under warranty and our costs were covered. We highly recommended your dealership and truly appreciate your entire staff especially Danon Henton for their professionalism and kindness. Thanks for everything!

Last year, I brought in my car of 2016 to Hyundai of CHAMBLEE to be repaired due to regular maintenance. After the Hyundai team took in our car they came back- supposedly discovered that my vehicle required a new transmission. It was only 4 years old?!!!
I was advised to seek assistance with a new car or to have my transmission repaired for a higher cost of my paid off vehicle. Confusion? Oh yes. So, instead my husband and I decided to go with the trade and retrieve a newer and bigger car. Mainly because we were planning on growing our small family.
Now, I m not a car dealer or a car sales representative.
I was assisted by Michael Gregory who appeared very kind, & knowledgeable. But, of course those feelings changed quickly. When we expressed what our plans were for a new upgrade he was quick to jump on that train. Who wouldn t right?! But, it s your job to make your customer not have buyers remorse. Which was done after we signed papers from the long day of juggled time and paperwork with a new infant - they definitely took advantage for that day. We were there for countless hours for nothing.
I was shared the screen of my eligibility of excellence for a new car.
Than the financial office decided otherwise and introduced us to a vehicle we did not want but instead we were told this is all we qualify for?! Why? I have phenomenal credit.
They kept us with confusion, after a long day of back and forth we finally settled with a car we did not want. But, what could we have done ? We were without a car and ours apparently required a new transmission. We ran our credit that was phenomenal and than we were told it wasn t good enough at the very end of signing paperwork s that we were unable to have the car we agreed upon. We were giving only the option for a car that recurred higher interest bc of the year and model of this 2020 Hyundai vehicle which immediately was attached to me due to the fact that the financial department can do just about anything with your information. They falsely changed my decision by giving me information about a car I wanted and was willing to pay a little more for, instead they took advantage when discovering I was willing to pay a little more just for a bigger vehicle. Now I m stuck with the same car from 2016 model into a 2020 model which is the same size. Ugh!!! I never missed payments of my 2016. I started to investigate the issue. One year later, now the anniversary of my current car. I ve learned & educated myself.
A smaller car with higher payments to recur that high interest on my behalf as a commission. Now, after studying how Car Dealers work- exactly today is my 1 year anniversary for my Hyundai Elantra 2020 which we wanted the Kona for a much smaller payment. I absolutely hate this team and the financial office who absolutely took advantage of me and my credit. I was qualified to buy a house, but was lied to about the vehicle I could afford. I would never again trust this company, yet alone deal with any of those team members.

I originally leased my santa fe from rick case hyundai and had a horrific experience with not only the sales team but mostly the service team. So when I moved close to jim ellis, I have to say they blew it out of the water. They accepted me in like family and I have been going there ever since for everything. Bruce vernon is one of the best service reps you will ever meet. He has gone above and beyond so many times to help me. Like when my car engine randomly blew (probably bc of my bad atl driving), he fought hyundai corporate when they didn't want to replace it for free. New engine with upgraded turbo cost me nothing on top of them paying for an updgaded suv rental since I was in the middle of a move. So when I bought my car off the lease I went back and met the most awesome car dealer Sam Patel. He took care of me and made sure to get me the best deal; even personally taking my car for the required emissions test up the street some I was in a leg cast. It's all the little things that make this place awesome. Thank you for the amazing service.

Shawn Huger was a huge help. I told him what I wanted and he found me an awesome car that I like a lot that fits me. My only issue was the initial APR I was given but after some discussion it was brought down to a reasonable percentage I would work with.

Billy Jung was so amazing!! He helped me through everything yesterday. I wasn t expecting to get a car but he went above and beyond to give me the greatest customer service ever. He s the only salesman who I ever dealt with who I felt was genuine and wasn t just trying to make a quick buck. I really love my 2018 Hyundai Tucson. This whole place has a good atmosphere! Everyone is positive and energetic and I love it. Keep it up, Billy! You re doing a great job :)

The best car buying experience EVER!!!.... My salesman was Shannon Smith, I highly recommend him. He's very informative on vehicle's. I emailed and called him back and forth before I came into the dealership. Shannon went above and beyond to find something I actually wanted. He offered me 2 certified used vehicles and I picked the Hyundai Veloster. I m so in love with my new car. The service staff was nice and friendly as well. I'm super happy with my purchase.
