NO DISCLOSURE! SOLD ME A BRAND NEW CAR THAT HAD BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT!

I have bought many cars over the years and this was my first Dodge experience. If you are considering a new car from Jim Burke you may want to ask for a Car Fax! You would never think to ask for something like this on a brand new car but from what I experienced they will not tell you that the new car you are signing for has been in an accident until the next day!!!

The general manager, Cameron, was completely unprofessional! Who sales someone a brand new car and not know that it was wrecked at the same dealership?!?!

When I wanted to get my car back I was told they had sold it already. WOW, it makes me think that when they said they completely forgot to disclose the fact that the car was in an accident and that they sold my car in 1 day, that all of that is a bunch of garbage!

They knew when I was there that I wasn't sold on buying a new car from them and they haggled with me for 5-6 hours!! That is plenty of time for someone to notify me that the car had been in an accident! I personally believe that this was intentionally held from me in order to get me to buy it. It was the very last 15 that they had which I know now why!!

To sum up, ask for a carfax from them!! I will never ever buy another dodge period!! Since my first Dodge experience was this awful I would be too scared to ever again! Don't just take my word for it, look at all these other bad reviews! Wow, just unbelievable!

This review is based on the very first impression. So far, this is the best Dodge dealership service I have come across in the Birmingham area. Others have proven to not give two flying sh*ts about you as a customer if you haven't bought a car with them. This place, however, treated me and my car in a polite and professional manner regardless if I bought the car from them or not. I will definitely go back for oil change when the time comes, even if I have to drive an hour. If you have a Dodge and you are not from around the area or Alabama in general, go to them. Trust me, it's a better customer experience than Anniston or Pell City dealerships will give you by a mile.

I was just dropping someone off to pick up a car. It was almost closing and there was some confusion. My friend was asked, "How much did they tell you it would be?" My friend responded, "I don't know." To which the service representative said, "Well I hope I got it right." That's weird at more than one level. It just felt unprofessional.

Jim Burke used Auto Car Lot, awnsome and Ms. England was a very polite outstanding Sales person. She moved things right along. Ms England is awnsome person sale person. Her professionalism was outstanding. Ms. England took care of business .

We couldn't be n the same place. I'm here 4 a free oil change each & everyone of the staff just walk passed u after if we were invisible. My wife & I stood there 2 c just how long it was going 2 take before someone asked us if anyone had helped us. That never happened. A few other customers pulled up, got out of their cars & awaited there next move. 1 customer service person was on the phone the other 2 were at there desk looking down no 1 said give me a minute & I'll b with u. After about 10 minutes another customer service person came in looked 2 see which truck was next & began 2 help. Not friendly at all. This is the last time I come here I would rather pay 4 just 2 get good customer service. I took my wife car yesterday 2 express oil change & customer service was great 40 some dollar's but customers service 1000.

WARNING. This dealership is unethical, uses the common bait and switch tactic, had been found guilty of criminal charges by the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT for their prior business practices. The Management is the most unethical and unprofessional car salesmen that we have encountered. The GM will not honor written items that are in the contract - Beware of any promise made to you even if it's on the legally binding paperwork ie: Wheel, or "We owe". Just do some basic research and you will run the opposite direction. I wish we did....

This is the most unorganized dealership I ve been to. Made an appointment for 9am, waited till 9:30+ for someone to see me. It s 12 o clock and still have no numbers and tested 1 vehicle. Finally, after being sent a personal invitation for a vehicle trade in day. They offered WAY less than written AND I spoke with someone before going to ask if the figure offered was good for a new/used. Manager washed his hands of the entire situation and said this event was organized before he took over. ...but his signature was on the print out. Jim Burke, you missed out on 2 new car purchases today and multiple others because clients walking out. Understaffed and twice this has happened to my family dealing with their customer service.

I came to get my engine serviced, he got me the loaner within a regionally exceptional time frame, and yes, the engine is great. I received a letter telling me I had been pre approved for $39,000.00 to purchase a car . Needless to say it didn't quite work out that way . So they showed me some used stuff none of which I was interested in. I will say the man who helped me was very nice . Note to self , throw those invites in the garbage like I've always done before !!!

The service department is awful. They promise you free oil changes but if you use their online set up service they never set up a time. Also, I went in to have a recall fixed... When I called I was told it would be done fast but I went in and was there nearly three hours and then they want to try and charge me money on other things. I would tell anyone -- don't buy from here and rely on their promise of the service department. They lie and laugh at you when you try to talk to them. Unprofessional and incorrect information.

1st time there and was not sure of why cars are sitting in the lane with emergency blinkers on. I sat there for 40 minutes thinking I was in line for service. I was afraid to leave my car in middle of street with emergency blinkers to ask for fear of getting a ticket. Finally a lady came out I asked her and she explained the procedure. Also, no bathroom in customer waiting room. Wished they would have explained procedure when I made the appointment. Once inside, nice people.

The Courtesy shuttle is a joke. I ve now been waiting 1.5 hours for a shuttle back to my car after being told 20 minute ETA and I m less than 10 minutes away from the service center. No one is answering the phone and when they do they can t give me an ETA. I m just getting the run around. I ve never had issues with getting my vehicle serviced but I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND anyone use this shuttle service.

They have a great deal of lenders that they work with making buying a car simple and easy. They don t sugarcoat it and they do what they say. Great people and great buying experience! Before you go with someone else, do your homework and give them a shot.

My question to anyone that would use this service department is why are they making appointments if they're backed up. They gave me an 8am appointment knowing they were backed up. Why not schedule customers another day? Are they that bad on scheduling or do they have a lack of respect for customers time?

I guess I visited way too many dealerships and that is how I've realized I have no Idea where to sell my car. I don't like much talk, and I get disturbed when the staff talks too much, that's why I usually leave. At Jim Burke Automotive I finally found professionals who knew how to satisfy me, I told them I saw a car on auto auction repokar and I need the money as soon as possible. They did everything they could to hurry up the process, and they offered a good price. Thank you!

They mess up your car while theu pretend to do an oil change in hopes of getting a quick buck extra for drugs. This place has gone to the dogs. I had a horrible experice saturday. This is a text I received from their finance guy at the Jeep dealership.Call whomever you want im doing you a favor saving you money.. they will tell you my wife is pregnant and I don't work on sundays. Next day got here at 1:00 while in town. 3:30 still here.......will go back to someplace closer next time. Thought as long as they have been here, they would have it running smoothly. Wrong. This is my 2nd time and there's always an attitude, no Hello, Thanks for coming how can I help you? It's always attitude like they dont want you there!! Then the free wipers and oil change has stipulations that I was never told about! Not again, I will continue to support the nice guys at Express Oil on the South Side!!

Had auto body work done there. The secretary is friendly courteous and accomodating. Excellent customer contact person. Their body work was good... Unfortunately for me my car was returned with damages that happened while at the body shop. They attempted to cover it up with a thin coat of paint rather than just repairing it themselves. Then they told me the car came in with that particular damage. They refused to accept responsibility for the additional damage to my car. I needed my transportation back...and bickering back and forth wasn't getting anywhere, so I took possession of my vehicle and moved on... Warning them if this forthcoming scathing review! My car is a Mercedes and did not have that particular ding on it prior to arrival at their body repair shop. Disappointed about how they handled the situation and I will take my business elsewhere in the future. I suggest you do the same. Employees hang out at the front bay entrance smoking, sitting, texting, horse play.
