The sales representative Khalid Qousar was very helpful. Khalid helped me get approved for a Chevrolet Silverado at affordable monthly payments. Also got me approved for my dream car a camaro for great monthly payments. Overall my experience was great with Khalid Qousar from Chevrolet of Jersey City. I would highly recommend them to all my family and friends.

Terrible service! Will never return or buy a vehicle there. Went with a friend to pick up his car which.They gave him his car back with the pieces separated. It was a very dangerous situation that could have gotten him hurt. Then they tried saying that they didnt know we were coming so early. Mind you,we came 2 days after we were originally scheduled to pick it up, so how they didnt expect us to come i can't understand. Totally disgusted

My car broke down on the turnpike and this was the closest dealership. They had it for three months trying to rebuild the engine. They pulled it out three times to get it somewhat right. After I got the car back it took 5 more visits to my local dealership in Nazareth, PA to fix everything that was messed up on the install. And don't get me started on the scuffs and scratches on the bumper from working on the car.

Bruh, I cannot tell you how much they saved me with getting rid of my beat down Saturn and into a brand new car! Granted it was a long wait to get things in motion due to proper financing as well as me having really bad credit. But they worked something out and me and my girlfriend are so happy with our 2016 Chevy sonic! Amer was my dealer and he is super chill and straightforward. I like someone to talk to me like we are cool rather that you trying to sell me something to benefit you. So much thanks to this place, definitely worth checking out if you re in the surrounding area.

We brought our car there 4 times in the last 3 mon...

We brought our car there 4 times in the last 3 months for the check engine light. Their people could not figure out the code since it was a "misfire". It's been at their facility for almost 1 month combined during the last 4 visits and all of a sudden you charge me $169 to repair an engine coil. And to make matters worse, I had to call 4 days after I brought the car in to find out was what going on. No call to inform me of anything before that. After I called, then someone came me back to say it would be about $150 to repair. But no charge the other times since whatever it was was still covered. We were so infuriated by the lack of service and care to our vehicle that we just traded it in to get a Volvo. You couldn't give us a chevy for free at this point.

My car was serviced in March due to a recall. I have a 2016 Chevy Cruze. I waited an hour before Lynn advised me that she had to speak with me. She told me she had bad news and that my car was dented by one of the drivers when he was backing out. Though this was upsetting, I remained calm and observed the dent in the driver door and a scratch on the back passenger side. I took the loaner and told Lynn that I was unable to pick my car up until the following Saturday. I returned exactly one week later and not only was the car still scratched,but no one told me nor attempted to fix it the first time. The manager (an older gentleman. I forgot his name) was thorough but not empathetic. I was livid. He proceeded to tell me that his sketch of my car did not indicate another scratch. My car was not scratched, damaged or in poor condition so that was ridiculous. The credibility was shot when my car was dented and scratched during a recall assessment. I took the same loaner for yet another week. Lynn called me on a Thursday while I was at the train station. The conversation was not pleasant. She told me that the car came in scratched and even told me, 'you and I both know the truth'. I wanted to call her out her name but I didn't. I told her she is ridiculous for accusing me of having a scratched car and to have it fixed. She had it ready within a few days. So, 2 weeks without my car because of the negligence of the service men. It pissed me off and I wish to NEVER go there again. I lost 2 weeks pay because I am a Lyft driver at night. But the most disgusting part of it all is not one person apologized. Seriously disappointing considering I just purchased the car October 2016, and was already going through a recall process. I expect more from Chevy. My last car I had for 10 years. It was a 2004 Chevy Cavalier. I took good care of that car and when I sold it, it had less than 100K miles (It had 13K when I bought it). With that being said, I would not be dishonest about damage to my car since there was none. I take good care of my car. I wish I could say the same about Chevrolet.

Do yourself a favor and go see Joel Young at Chevrolet of Jersey City when you're ready to get your next car. I got my last two leased vehicles from him and I only went back to him because of how well he took care of me the first time. He's professional, very knowledgeable and will do anything in his power to make sure you leave there satisfied with the car that you like and that fits your budget! He is honest and will not try to take advantage of you like most other car salesmen that I've come across. I don't normally go out of my way to leave reviews but I feel that Joel Young deserves it and I will definitely be going back to him when my current lease is up. 5 stars!!!

Recently purchased a Chevy Tahoe. Was really uncertain about what I wanted. Cee and Roberto were absolutely fantastic. They gave me absolutely no pressure, provided me with a whole lot of info, took their time to show me all the little things in the car, and then when it came down to giving me a price they gave me great value. The entire experience was warm and friendly. I did not get a salesman feel. I was immediately felt welcomed and left content and satisifed. i will be in the market for a second car for the family and you better believe I will be seeing these guys again when considering second vehicle options. BE VERY VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS DEALER
My friend spoke very little English and they took full advantage of him.
He bought his first car with no experience and they charged him 25% interest on the finance. They also took insurance for $900.00 to protect there finance payment. They added the insurance to the finance at 25% interest.
When it came to the car insurance they helped get him car insurance which was recently cancelled because they recommended a progressive agent who wasn't authorized to sell insurance.

I leased a Chevy equinox from this dealer 39mths ago. They are now refusing to take the vehicle back at lease end (breach of contract on their part). The reason given is no space on the lot . I drove there yesterday and they have space for 50 cars between the dealership and their additional lot further up Communipaw (I have the dated photos to prove this - taken yesterday). They have said they will take the car back IF I sign a new lease with them (blackmail), clearly they have the room.

I m currently instructing a solicitor to file a breach of contract case against them. I am also filing a complaint with the NJ Division of consumer affairs who I spoke to earlier today.

All other local area dealers are taking cars they leased back. Chevrolet of Jersey City is the only dealer behaving this way in my local area.

One compliment I can give, is the Service department have always been friendly and helpful when I needed an oil change. The Sales dept in my experience, after you take delivery have only been unhelpful.

Roberto was my salesman, HE DID not push me I TOLD him what I wanted.....I walked in and the Manager Mena met me at the door, I said " I WANT the best man to help me...Well Roberto took control and helped me along the way ...I got a amazing deal, THEY are ALL friendly and personable and will bend over backward to make sure you drive away in the vehicle of YOUR choice...I had a Chevy Equinox lease that I returned and I wanted the same car .....They were very patient with ALL my questions and the fact that I AM so picky.....C was also amazing with me and my questions about working the numbers.....We all laughed, chatted and I felt like we were all friends...I left with shiny red Chevy Equinox....AS happy as can be....If you want stellar service and a reputable dealer....THIS is your place to go...!!!

Just a Thank You to Lorenzo Aramini for helping us to purchase the Chevy Traxx on 3/4/17. When a sales representative takes that extra time to show a customer how to program certain features in the vehicle, that's what makes having an excellent experience. He went that extra step. He truly takes pride in working at your dealership and he is an asset to the team. We rate him a five star. When we arrived around 12:30 he took care of us immediately and since we decided not too long afterwards what we wanted to purchase, the paperwork started shortly thereafter. We would like to thank you again Lorenzo for giving us one on one attention. You truly were very helpful and for that you deserve the five stars.

Now moving forward to the finance department, since we completed the paperwork in a timely fashion and our credit rating was excellent, that whole process seemed to have taken much longer than it should have. We did not leave there until 7:30 PM. It did not appear exceptionally busy for our finance papers to take that long to complete since when we were called, it only took less than 30 minutes to sign off on all the documents. If extra help is needed in the finance department, the manager might want to look into hiring another person on the weekend to help that gentlemen. The vehicle was decided early on, credit approved, but again from that point on to the actual time leaving was unacceptable. Lorenzo did an excellent job to keep us informed that it wouldn't take much longer, but as the customers waiting to finish a simple task as signing the documents, was not acceptable. Our experience with Lorenzo was right on the money. Thank you again Lorenzo. If you're shopping around for a new vehicle, go back to your roots and drop into Chevrolet of Jersey City, ask for Lorenzo as your sales rep. You won't be disappointed. Once it is out of Lorenzo's hands, you need to allow extra time for the finance department to do their paperwork.

HORRIBLE! I financed a car that I didnt want from them with high payments due to a low credit score, they said come back and refinance after your credit score go up. I went last month because I worked diligently to improve my credit, my score was over 233 points more and they wouldnt refinance my car because they wanted me to get a newer car with higher payments...smh STRAIGHT TRASH! I wish I didnt have to give then 1 star but it is what it is. Never again....

I received five star service at Jersey City Chevrolet! My sales person was Ryan. He was knowledge about the Chevy Equinox and pointed out all the safety and entertainment features the car possessed. He was polite and friendly.... not at all pushy like some car salesman are.

A portion of my price negotiation was done with the sales manager Narcisco. He was easy to communicate with.

I had a great experience at this dealership and recommend it!!

Patrick Amadi was the best sales associate I have ever met. Sales associate is not the title for him. He was more of a long loss friend we we never met. It was a pleasure purchasing a vehicle with him. His promises were kept, and the DEAL was unbelievable. He made sure we absolutely loved the car before stepping into any negotiations. Sleazy car dealership.

Don't waste your time with their internet pricing, they'll add $2700 on once you go down there in hidden fees.

They also lie to you about your credit to try to get more money out of you. I was told they would finance me at 9% with a 782 credit score, and that I would not do better anywhere else. (I ended up getting approved for 2.99% elsewhere.)

I left Chevrolet of Jersey City with telling my payment would be $360 on a $17,000 loan. I went over to Gearhart Chevrolet, I got a better, newer car and took out a loan for $17,820, now my payment is $312 a month.

Gearhart also gave me $1,200 more for my trade.

Terrible dealership, so bad that I wouldn't be surprised if these 5 star ratings are just ghost accounts set up by the dealership.

My car insurance has a program that gets their customer's deals through partnered dealerships. I found a good deal through this service at the Chevy of Jersey City, called, and made my way down (an hour and a half drive.) Once there, the young man that met us told me and my Father that there would be an extra fee for not being a previous buyer (1250 dollars!) We looked at the advertisement on the car insurance website and did not find this fee. After they tried to lower their offer down a measly 250 dollars, me and my dad left.

We called our insurance company minutes afterward, and they told us that this was unacceptable on the dealerships end. They called the dealership and told them to waive the fee and hold the vehicle for us. Instead, the dealership immediately sold the car and removed themselves from the insurance company's program.

I hate to stereo type car dealerships as sleazy, but this one fit the bill.

My father and I went car shopping, just browsing to get an idea of what I'd like since I was in need of a new car. Lorenzo helped us, and let me tell you he was the best! He was so knowledgeable. He answered any and all questions before I could even think of them! Normally you have to ask very specific questions or the salesmen won't tell you, and with Lorenzo it was the opposite! He covered every little detail! He started with a presentation, popping the hood and explaining all of the details of the engines and what not, then to the trunk and any exterior details, and then getting to the interior explaining absolutely everything. (He even knew off the top of his head the exaxt difference in size between the Cruze and Malibu!) Being that I don't know much about cars I loved this! This was my very first time so I didn't really know what questions to ask (hence why my father was with me LOL) but even my dad didn't need to ask many questions because Lorenzo had already covered it all, from top to bottom (literally!!) ! Lorenzo was extremely patient, considering I had no clue what exactly I was looking for and looked at a few different cars, spending a total of almost 9 hours with him, and not once did he get annoyed, I never felt rushed or pressured. I fell in love with the 2017 chevy Cruze and thanks to Lorenzo and Mina, the gm, I left THAT night with a beautiful brand new car, and not to mention for an amazing price!! My very first! They made my visit and my very first time buying my own car enjoyable, filled with good conversation and laughs, and extremely special! I highly recommend them! They're great people, and great salesmen and they make sure you leave with exactly what you WANT and NEED. They make a genuine connection with you, and don't try to just push any old thing on you to make a sale! I can't rave about Lorenzo and Mina enough!! Thanks to them my very first car will always be a happy, wonderful memory!

This is not a reputable dealership. The only reaso...

This is not a reputable dealership. The only reason there is one star is that I cannot write a review without it. Researched used vehicles online through USAA Buying Service, powered by TrueCar, a market leading, automobile, data analysis web site. This dealership advertised a 2011 Chevy Impala for $10k. I printed out a price certificate from TrueCar, as not only physical proof, but verbal proof of intent to buy. I had arranged a time to stop by and inspect the vehicle. When I arrived, after an 80 mile drive, I was told that the online, certified price was not the actual price. In order to get the online price, one would have to had previously purchased a vehicle from the dealership, as well as a maintenance program for said vehicle, and then had said vehicle in for each maintenance check and then trade first vehicle in for this vehicle. The salesperson admitted to this charade as a way to get people in the door. The vehicle that was advertised at a "certified price", and quite honestly any advertised vehicle on their website or any website, would have been an additional $1250. What was advertised was their returning customer price, which, quite honestly, they would not have honored in the first place, as this would have priced the car below what they paid for it. They are all about getting you in the door with deceptive advertising and then bilking you with an extraordinarily high documentation fee, that is nothing more than a tacked on fee that they have the gall to actually print on their sales form, as if it is written in stone when it is actually meaningless. After filing a formal complaint with TrueCar regarding their practices, their Online Sales Manager, Cesar, was contacted by TrueCar and told that they would have to honor the published price or be sanctioned by TrueCar. By the way, I was told that Cesar "had the flu" when I asked to talk to him at the dealership, as he is the contact on the Pricing Certificate. Long story short, I did not hear anything from Cesar or the Management. I did receive a cutoff message from one of the OBD women, calling shortly after TrueCar reached out to the dealership. It sounds as if she was told to get off the line in mid sentence. The dealership deliberately decided to ignore my calls and emails and in direct defiance of TrueCar, the mediator of honest transactions, removed the vehicle from their inventory. This is the worst kind of dealership, as they lack ethical behavior and a sense of integrity.

I d like to give Mr. Bino a 5 star, he is knowledgeable and patient. His customer service is beyond impeccable. Thank you Mr. Bino. The reason I rated Chevy of Jersey City a 2 is because of the technician that worked on my car. He was not friendly. He did not between my car in the same condition that I left my car, after having it for a few days. Whatever was in my glove box was in my back set, one of the back rugs was missing, I had to return 2 additional times to have minor things fixed, that should have been fixed before I picked up my car. I d like the same treatment that I gave when returning your loaner. It s not fair to me or anyone else.

DO NOT COME TO THIS DEALER! They are extremely DESPERATE for deals.
I was sold a car and a few days later called to return the car because I didn t earn enough money . They made me scramble for a co-signer and when I brought the co-signer with me they forced us to make an address change to state that we reside at the same home. Since when is that a necessity? They charged me the miles I d driven during this commotion and I refused to pay because this was never discussed with me. They also never stayed the car I leased came WITHOUT a spare tire. I only realized this fact when I unfortunately got a flat tire.
Save yourself the drama, of a Chevy is what you wish go elsewhere before you are robbed of your money.

"Jackie" Chan and the rest of the JC team was very helpful in helping us trade out lease in and lease a new vehicle. This will be our 3rd vehicle from Jersey City Chevrolet and let always treat us with respect and give us the best deal possible. We travel an hour to get there so when we purchased the vehicle, they didn't have it in stock so he delivered it to us that weekend!!! I had the worst experience at Chevrolet of Jersey City. I was looking to go into a new Chevy Equinox and received absolutely no help from the sales associate I spoke with, unfortunately I do not remember his name. He showed me the cars they had there, but did not give me any details on the new 2018 model and had no answers to any of my questions. When we went to fill out paperwork and discuss payment, my experience only worsened. The sales manager, Mena Mekhael, either did not know what he was doing or did not care about making a sale. Both men joked around and did not offer any help so I quickly left. I have worked with this dealership in the past and was always satisfied with their customer service, but this time it was disappointing. Chevrolet of Paramus helped me out and I leased my new vehicle with them.

I had a really great experience at cherolet of Jersey City. I really appreciate the help I receive from Nelson. They also have a great team. I was not at all disappointed. Nelson even went the extra mile and drove me to work so I wouldnt be late..Now that is what you call great service. Over and beyond!

I don't really post reviews until the product exceeded my expectations or leave me disappointed. I got my first ever car from Chevy the Brand I trusted more than its competitors and made my First and Last Mistake by getting the Worst Car in the whole Universe. I unfortunately owned Chevy Malibu 2016 Premiere which the Salesman at Chevrolet of Jersey City tricked me to get this car by telling me all its safety features and all. I really like it at that time and the Salesman also knew that the car was a Faulty Piece of Garbage that he didn't tell me and sealed the deal. I've this car for almost 20 Months and Drove over 12000 Miles but never get the peace of mind while I drive this car. Because this Car is a Complete Mess. My car has already been to Service Center for different safety Problems like Safety Sensors stopped working all of the sudden, Battery Dead, Tire Sensor Malfunctioning, Semi-Automatic Parking Stopped Working ETC. This is my Sixth time, I'm facing the same problem along with the Car Screen is totally Blank. Nothing Shows up on the Screen. I'm Utterly Disappointed with my Purchase.

ABOUT THE PEOPLE I DEAL WITH:
It's not only about the car issues I'm dealing with. It's about the people as well who provide me the Worst Kind of Service as well.

1. Whenever I try to get an appointment over the phone. First thing they tell me that I can't have an appointment on Saturday's because most of their Engineers don't work on Saturday's. What Kind of Service Center is that where half of their team is absent on weekends.

2.They want me to get an appointment in the Weekdays which I can't because I'm a working man and lost my job already due to this Stupid car and don't want to lose my job again.

3. Every time they open my case, close it without my consent, won't even bother calling me and telling me that they're closing my case.

4. Whenever I call to discuss my problem with the person who was dealing with my case, I got to know that the person has closed the case and left. Now I'm the new person who'll deal with your case "NOW TELL ME THE WHOLE STORY AGAIN". They think that I'm available for them to give them lullaby every time whenever they ask for it.

5. The people at the Service Center are so RUDE and Dis-Respectful, don't know how to talk to customers, how to provide them best Service. They're not willing to do anything for you, just make you keep waiting and then tell you at the End "YOU'VE TO TAKE YOUR CAR BACK, WE'LL CALL GM AND WHEN THEY'LL TELL US TO CALL YOU TO BRING YOUR CAR HERE, THEN YOU'VE TO COME". Guess What! They don't call you, Not even in your Life.

6. They didn't help me in any Matter. Whenever I ask for HELP, they say that we cannot do anything for you. You are on your Own.

7. They always Fed me Lies and gave me False Hopes but in Reality did Nothing. NOTHING AT ALL. I just keep repeating the steps over and over again and just Running in Circles for now.

PLEASE I REQUEST ALL OF YOU, YOUR TIME AND WORK IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THIS GARBAGE BRAND AND ITS PRODUCTS. DON'T LET ANY ONE BUY ANY CHEVY CAR.

LESSON LEARNED THE HARD WAY. NO CHEVY OR GM PRODUCT I'LL BUY, NEVER AGAIN IN MY WHOLE LIFE.

Loved this place!!!!! Walked in and got the help I wanted right away! My car salesmen Danny was nothing but helpful and I walked out with exactly what I wanted! Recommend 10/10. I had a few questions after I left the dealership about the car and he was more than willing to answer my questions!

I've been having trouble with my 2017 Chevy Malibu and its very frustrating. I've been there every month for the past 3-4 months smh. However, MY REVIEW IS LET THE COMPANY AND EVERYONE ELSE TO KNOW THAT LIN (SERVICE ADVISOR) IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALTHOUGH SHE SAW THE FRUSTRATION IN MY FACE THIS MORNING SHE REMAND PROFESSIONAL AND EVEN MADE ME LAUGH WHEN I DIDNT EVEN WANT TO. ALL THE ADVISORS ARE GOOD BUT LIN SHE IS GREAT!!!!! SHE PUT ME IN A 2020 CHEVY BLAZER TEMPORARILY IN MINS AND MADE MY DAY BETTER! YOU ROCK LIN!!!!

My salesman was Amer and he did a fantastic job with helping me finance my first Chevy Suburban. Thanks to Amer, Mena, and the staff at Jersey City Chevrolet we were able to find a price and package that made us all happy. Everything from the negotiation to the applications and finalizing of paper work was all done professionally. I also went to the Bay Ridge Chevrolet in New York and there is no comparison, the service at Jersey City was unmatched and I thank the salesman at Bayridge named Ali Muhammad because if it wasn't for his Lack of professionalism I may have closed the deal there.
