The chicken enchiladas were great, my server was wonderful, and the fountain drink refills truely were endless!
The prices are about what you would expect from a sit down place. You can easily get a good meal and beverage for under $15.

Pleasant atmosphere; extremely polite, prompt and grateful service... I will definitely be returning. Don t let the mid range pricing deter you! The quality of ingredients, preparation and presentation more than make it worth the money!

You know when you have to wait for about an hour for breakfast it must be good food. This place is well worth the wait. With everyone's taste buds taken care of and reasonable prices. This is a place that became a regular for us after the first bite into my Cajun Eggs Benedict. Try them if you like the heat and you will not be disapointed.

I absolutely love this place! But today was a bit of disappointment, I ordered food and it s came at half portion, no joke, I was surprised the server even brought it out. Server was like, sorry I m not the cook. Other than that this has been an amazing place to come for all your breakfast desires

This is one of those hidden gems. I would say it's criminal to know of this place and not try their Swedish pancakes. It comes with a homemade brown sugar syrup that is to die for. If I were to drown in it, I would die with a smile on my face.

I ordered one of the scramblers to go. The menu said it is made with 4 eggs but the portion I received was so small that it couldn't have been made with more than 2. The side of potatoes consisted of 7 small quarters. Terrible value for the cost but it did taste good. Won't order from there again.

I went here for breakfast and the food was fantastic. There isn't a lot of dairy free options, but I still found something to try on the menu. The server was also pretty good too. They also had tea and it was amazing. Everything on their menu looked delicious and was reasonably priced. We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated, but we just browsed in the store next door. I would recommend checking this place out.

Jensen's Cafe is a wanna-be upscale restaurant and I was not impressed in the least. The food was moderate at best when it was delivered 30 minutes after ordering and there was not very many customers in the restaurant as we got there when they had just opened. I will not be returning to this place again as I feel I get better food and faster service at the Windmill Cafe in Savage or Waumpacs in Shakopee.

Went there for breakfast and had blueberry pancakes combo. The pancakes were excellent, a great butter and maple syrup topping, the breakfast potatoes were very blah though, no seasoning or onions etc, just fried raw. My wife's cheesy hash browns were pretty blah too. It was an average breakfast from a higher end place so was a little disappointed. Maybe it was just a bad day, will give it another try.

Met family there, for breakfast, after landing in MSP and service was very good. I had an omelette and it was good. I'm used to having more eggs but the flavor was still there and the "filling" inside the omelette was plentiful. Coffee was really hot too.

The restaurant was really nice. The food was good. I didn't particularly care for my food, but that was more my fault for ordering something I didn't like. The berry jam was ridiculously good though.
My friend got the buffalo chicken strips for an appetizer and and those were super good. If you're in the area, stop into this place, it's worth a visit. I will definitely be back. I will just get something that suits me better.

I really like this cafe! Their breakfast is delicious, and coffee is hot and always ready to be served. If your looking for the ma and pa type diner feel, this is the place for you. My only words of advise would be this place is ALWAYS busy, so come prepared to wait. My other suggestion would be check out the knick knack store next door to the diner, Ficus and Fig. You may find some hidden treasures!

Breakfast so good it'll make you wanna slap your mama!
I had the Swedish pancake combo and it was awesome! Huevos rancheros were great, salsa was awesome, french toast the best!
Our server, Sam was friendly and helpful, very fast service.
I could eat here everyday.
Almost forgot, they have an awesome little toy area with tv, table, games, and a bench for mom to sit on if your toddlers are getting a little crazy waiting on their meal. ....
Very family friendly, they really go the extra mile !!! Can't get over how much I LOVE this place!

I believe the menu was condensed because we went during Sunday brunch. This is not like the Jensen's in Burnsville. That is more casual dining like a diner whereas this Jensen's is more like a dinner club. Not that you have to dress up for it but it just has a classier feel.
I loved the music be played (mostly 40s & 50s crooner)but that's a personal choice. We also noticed that the temperature was perfect. We were all comfortable even after we finished eating, which is when people tend to get a little chill.
Getting to the food, it was very good. Like I stated earlier it was brunch so the menu seemed a little limited. But what we did order we enjoyed. It was also just the right amount of food except for the shrimp dish. If you are a light eater it may satisfy. Otherwise it seems better for an appetizer than an entree. The pricing was good about $8-15 per entree.
Great place to stop if you are going to the Eagan outlets. Great atmosphere.

It makes me really uncomfortable that the waiting area isn t Covid safe. As cases continue to climb, they should be asking people to wait in their cars, then calling them and not have people packed in the front door. I couldn t even come to the reception area without bumping into someone.

Absolutely wonderful spot for breakfast. Our wait was less than 10 minutes on a Saturday morning, the service was excellent, the food excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect.
There's so much to look at around the room our family decided to play a game of Eye Spy which made the time pass quickly while waiting for food.

We've enjoyed Jensen's many times in the past but we were disappointed this time around. Food was not as good as previously and the service was really slow. We had 5 people in our party and everyone of them rated it as just ok.

Yesterday we had to wait almost 1:40 min when the hostess told my dad it was going to be only 40 min. We've been there before and usually service and food is good so we did not mind waiting 40 min but almost two hours was not worth it , I come ocasinally with coworkers friends and my boyfriend and yesterday when I decided to take my family we had the worst service ever !!! Our server which name is VERONICA was rude and did not give us the service we deserved , she served my boyfriend and I before and was also completely rude and with a sassy attitude, I don t know if she is racist or if she doesn t like Hispanic people but she had attitude with us and I still left her a good tip , that time I didn t say anything but yesterday she was not even paying attention to our table , it was just a complete lack of service , we understand servers get busy sometimes but come on I saw her chatting with the table behind us standing like nothing and she wasn t aware we were out of coffee, and my aunt asked for one and never was brought to her after almost 20 min , we had to ask another waitress for it and When I asked her if she could please give us some refills she had the nerved to say I didn t know you were drinking the coffee so fast and I was about to say something to her but I kept calm and just sight, i mean how could she said that , she is supposed to be checking on us and ask how is everything you don t say that to your costumers , we are proudly Mexican and come from a good family and we always live good tips because my dad is a restaurant manager at a high end restaurant, and I ve been a waitress before , so we know , but I honestly think she is just racist and rude !! Her tip she was supposed to get was $20.00 dollars but after her service and attitude I only tip her a 10% even she didn t it deserved it !!! All I can say is that thanks to this lady we are never coming back , when people treat us good we take care of our waitress but with people like Veronica we rather go somewhere else have a $ 65 .00 dollar meal for two and leave our waitress 20 bucks for good service . Jensen s thanks for such a horrible lack of service .

This is absolutely one of the best restaurants in the Minneapolis surrounding area. Breakfast all day and house made syrup that is like none other I have ever had. I will drive 40 minutes from home just to visit here. It's really that good.

Most favoritest! Food is tasty, staff is friendly, prices are right, variety of menu offerings is PHENOMENAL! You won't be disappointed. Family members of mine that no longer live in MN ALWAYS make eating @ Jensen's a requirement of each & every single trip home.

Phenomenal french toast! The buttery maple syrup is what makes it. I just wish they took reservations, since it is such a popular breakfast spot, make sure you call ahead to reduce your wait time!

Jensen's is the perfect place for anyone. There's always something for the kids and the grown ups. My personal favorite is the French toast. It's a thick cut piece of bread soaked perfectly in a batter and fried. The syrup resembles a thinner carmel, and the coffee is wonderful

They've outgrown the space and were understaffed. If I'm going to spend $20 a plate for breakfast, a half hour wait, table 2 feet from others on all sides, and 10 minutes with no waitress greeting is too much to endure

We attended my son and daughter-in-law wedding dinner here. The service was very good as was the food. I know a little about service as I have worked many jobs in that industry. The reason I am writing this post is to thank Jensen's Cafe for the great time we all had there.
