Actually, felt like walking out at first. Extremely grumpy man was at the front seating guests. But glad we stayed because... PANCAKES! Homemade maple syrup. Amazing! We also ordered county fried steak and eggs, which very good as well. Eggs were a little under cooked, I ordered over medium. Its always s 50/50 to get eggs served over medium. Service was good, surprised at how pleasant our server was after experiencing the grump at the door. Glad his attitude wasn't contagious.

Didn't like the manager, but the employees were great and very helpful

Delicious food. Good service. Huge portions. A bit of a wait, but always worth it. Call ahead to get on the list to cut down on the time. Too good to take a pic before eating!

Try their Swedish pancakes with berries and cream. I normally am not a pancake person but gosh.

It is a great place... just be aware that if you go on sunday morning you may get a long wait

Love the food! Although I was a little disappointed that they were out of caramel rolls before 12 on a Sunday. The caramel rolls are what we drove 2 hours for.

Unique dishes you won't find other places, great waffles, super hot coffee, amazing fresh squeezed oj. Long waits usually but worth it.

Very much enjoyed our meal there. They were able to accommodate our party of 10 on fairly short notice. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Our waiter was friendly and quick. We were placed near the bar with live music which was a little too loud for easy conversation, otherwise we had a very enjoyable evening. I would definitely eat here again and recommend it. Being 2 blocks from the Ames Center is also a plus

Average tasting breakfast, a little pricey for what you get BUT there is not much else in Burnsville to get unless you want large chain food.

Always friendly waitresses. Food is delicious and plentiful. Cheesy hashbrowns are great and the syrup for the pancakes is to die for.

Incredible customer service. We were seated at a table and the owner needed the table for a larger group, he cleaned a booth and insisted on covering our breakfast. We really had no problem moving, he went above and beyond for two strangers today. Amazing

Waitress was lacking in basic service skills. I love a seasoned waitress but she was a Lil too Greasy Spoon for the price of the meals. Jmo

Truth!!! Facts!!! Food Poisoning! I was so sick for 3 days & it started 3-4hours after we left Jensons Deli in Burnsville. I had a hamburger cooked Medium (Thank God I almost said medium rare )They serve potatoes cooked in Rosemary & olive oil if u want fries or Sweet potato fries you pay $1 extra... My hubby had what he called a
$13 school lunch...the Turkey Dinner with mashed potatoes/stuffing. T.V. dinner at most

The eggs on the eggs Benedict were overcooked.. They offered to give me a new one but they were still overcooked. The service was great though... Friend's waffles were cold

A wonderful place for breakfast! We went on a busy Saturday morning, the wait was well worth it. The staff was excellent and the stuffed french toast was awesome. I would highly recommend this place and plan on eating here the next time I am back in the area.

We always have a good experience at Jensens, their breakfasts have generous portions and the food is excellent. Get their early for a seat, especially on a Saturday.

This is my absolute favorite breakfast place. I live in Eau Claire so sadly can only get here when up visiting my family. My eggs are are always cooked perfect (basted) cafe potatoes and bacon amazing!! The French toast also amazing. Cant wait til next time!!

Nice place for breakfast especially, and the food is good, but the prices are higher. You could go a few blocks west and go to Perkins where you will get more food for your buck, but the decor won't be as nice, and your clothes may smell like fried food when you leave. The choice is up to you.

20 min wait for table and 20 min wait for entree. Good service. Drinks were refilled and apps were out in 5 mins. Menu has good selections. Food is priced low. Overall was a pleasant experience. Can kill time in gift shop when waiting for your table. If I went to this restaurant when it wasn't so busy, I would have had faster service.

Food was really good but the eggs were overcooked. This place always has a long line to be seated but we had to wait over 30 minutes for our food

Top notch service, top notch cafe. Homemade maple syrup sauce, off the hook. My food was cooked perfectly. Our server was attentive and very genuine and patient in lieu of how busy they were. On my scale of how far I'd drive just to eat here: 45 miles. Portions were quite filling.

Best breakfast spot south of the river. From the coffee to the pancakes its 5 stars all the way.

I am so disappointed in our experience today. We have eaten at this lovely cafe for years so it s even more disappointing. We ordered two breakfasts for take out. It was more spendy than usual $42 without coffee but their food is generally so good we went with it. Got the food home it was the wrong order. Due to the high price and wrong food we cancelled the entire order. Dealt with the manager and he grabbed the bag of food , went into the till and shoved $40 in cash and walked away. I m shocked. I know this cafe is privately owned This employee must need some help! I know probably a tough morning but ..... not the customer service when it was their mistake.

I love Jensen's. Love. The breakfasts here are ALL delicious! My favorite things are the stuffed french toast, the potatoes, and the syrup! But the ones I've tried and the Monte Cristo are also amazing! Basically anything on the breakfast menu is probably going to be awesome! Staff is always friendly. Saturdays and Sundays are almost always busy, so get there early if you are dining there in the weekend! This is one of my go-to places to take guests when they come in from out of town! I highly, highly recommend!

Tip: If you like the syrup, buy a container to take home! It's made in-house and tastes great on pretty much anything!!

Went there for the Cajun Breafast, was not disappointed. Bonus they have good coffee to boot!

Not to good this visit. Its been better in the past though. Don't have the Philly sandwich, not worth the money.

Slow service, food wasn't presentable, overall bad experience.

Too crowded; four of us were jam packed in a tiny booth. We laughed as we looked like t-rexes reaching out to our plates! Food was good. Service was subpar.

1st time. Great food, great service. I had the French toast and it was lovely. The Orange juice was pulp free and delish. I will definitely go back there.
