Excellent food! Attentive service! Worth the wait every time.
Been coming here for years. Syrup ... phenomenal, stuffed French toast... worthy of slapping a loved one. I ll come here till they re out of business!
Most amazing breakfast in Burnsville! French toast is to die for!
Great food. They would not cook my hamburger less than medium
Their bacon and butter maple syrup make for a great start to any Saturday
I've never had bad service, bad drinks, or anything less than amazing food here. The patio is a huge plus too!
Great food, especially the breakfast. I recommend the Stuffed French Toast! The restaurant is clean and has modern, warm and homey decor. The restaurant is hard to access as you have to park in the parking ramp adjacent to the building, and walk into the building to the 2nd floor. There is usually a wait time to be seated, but you can call ahead to put your name on the list.
The new Jensen's Cafe is amazing awesome service amazing food
Excellent breakfast. Attentive and friendly service.
Fabulous food and drinks. But it was too hot in there when we visited
Best stuffed French Toast. Always great service. My grandson said that the French Toast was the biggest pieces he had ever seen. He ate it all!
Jensen s Cafe might be the best breakfast joint on the planet. This includes service, food, drink and price. Seriously food is so amazing and love the people!
The food was absolutely wonderful. The service was kinda sparse and half hearted.
The coffee is smooth and food is amazing!! The best place in mn. The wait could be long on the weekends be prepared for 40 min wait. But It is well worth it
Best breakfast spot in the area. Huge portions. Swedish Pancakes smothered in berries and maple syrup turn your day around. So good!!
Good food, good prices. No options for folks with food allergies.
Love the breakfast items. Very nice place with good service and the best Waffles in town!
Great food, reasonably priced. Overall definitely deserves a 5 star.
My boyfriend took me to lunch here today and I've got to say the food was great! The service was alright. I got the banana waffle with peanut butter and my boyfriend got an omelet. This was my first experience at Jensen's. We may give it another try because the food was really good, but our drinks were empty and we weren't even offered refills. When it was time for the check we weren't asked how we would like it split. My boyfriend really wanted to try a dessert that we had seen being brought out, but we weren't offered anything else. Just given the check and a box for any leftovers. We went around 1 so it wasn't like super busy or anything, there wasn't even a wait to be seated. I'm disappointed with the service, but again, I would go back for the food.
Fabulous place with great food and service. The hardest part is getting a table. If you do get your table you won't be disappointed.
Food and coffee were yum, cocktails at reasonable prices and waitress was fantastic.
Great breakfast everytime. Go early, the later you go the longer you wait.
I've been coming here for years, it's always great! Check out their Bloody Mary, it's excellent!
If you're planning on breakfast on the weekend plan on a wait of 45 min or more. Ordered the bloody Mary which was really good! My friend ordered the mimosa and she enjoyed it as well. Food was really good. 4 star is only because of the wait and it took a while for the waiter to come back to our table to check in (due to how busy it was).
Their breakfast and coffee are amazing! While a little on the expensive side, the service and coffee is worth the price.
Always have great food and good service. You may have to wait for a table on weekends.
Great salmon eggs benedict, just the perfect size. Our waitress was really great too!
Be warned, the caramel cinnamon roll is immense! I thought to myself, "I don't want to overdo it, maybe I'll share it with my wife." Well, it came to the table and I knew I was doomed. We ended sharing it between 4 of us and we all felt nearly full before our main courses arrived (they were also delicious).
I love dining at Jensen's for breakfast, lunch, & brunch. Great location, service, decor, and food. This is a great place to plan to meet someone or just hang out and smell the roses. Highly recommended!
I ve been waiting for 35 minutes. They wasted our time and we re incredibly rude when we asked to be seated. Don t take my number if you re not gonna call me. It s Covid so I waited in my car instead of their packed waiting area. The receptionist was combative and gave tables to people who came later, rather than simply calling me. It s felt prejudicial.
Service was great. The food is okay. Not much for parking. Cost average. Not easy for a wheelchair; however, the staff was very nice and accommodating. I probably will not be back.
Great food, great staff. Their coffee is not good, however.
Worth it! Even though it's slightly expensive, you get a decent amount of food. The pancakes are huge and the bacon is amazing!
Picked them off a Internet search, what a great surprise, got seated right away even though it was mother's day and it was busy. Very attentive waiter, food was delicious, good portion sizes. Stuffed french toast was perfect . It might be a hour from home but we will definitely be back.
This place is great! They have one of the best breakfasts around!
I enjoy bringing my kids here for afternoon brunch. The food is pretty good. The downside is the long waits for a table and thw food once its ordered.
Amazing breakfast! If you can get a reservation, do it! Otherwise there's almost always a wait.
The food is made in house and most of it is Americanized Mexican food. Everything is delicious, including the desserts, and give you large portions of food for the great prices.
Awesome breakfast! I always get the Scramble Rito. Great coffee.
There are better options in the area. My wife and I went to Jensen's for the first time for breakfast. We both ordered Biscuits and Gravy... which, if its on the menu, we usually order when we go out for Sunday breakfast. 2 eggs, Biscuits and Gravy with Cafe Potatoes was the meal. Both my wife and I were very disappointed in the meal... a real let down. First... evidentially they are rationing Gravy at Jensens... both of our meals came with a big cakey biscuit cut in half with literally a tablespoon of gravy on top, barely enough cover one half. I have never witnessed a restaurant try to get away with so pewny a serving of gravy with this ubiquitous dish... it was almost laughable. Its especially disappointing considering the price of the meal... I have paid much less for far more. After tasting the Biscuits and Gravy I would consider it average at best. It wasn't bad... but not great. We finish our meals... I found the Egg portion a bit small for 2 eggs scrambled, my wife's portion of 2 eggs scrambled was almost double what I received... but whatever. When the waitress returned to clear our plates and found 3/4th of a big bare cakey biscuit uneaten on both our plates she asked if we wanted more gravy... as the lack of main dish ingredient was pretty obvious... but by that time the thought of sub-par gravy on a cold biscuit was not appealing. They had their chance. On a positive note... the Cafe Potatoes were good, the service was very good and the coffee was good. But the meal was a real disappointment, especially for the price. It would be the equivalent of ordering a pasta dish and getting a plate of noodles with a tablespoon of sauce on top... or a pepperoni pizza with 1 pepperoni on it. With all the foodie options in the Burnsville area... Jensen's is off my list.
Parking isn't great. But the food is pretty decent.
Love their breakfast, and lunch. But make sure you get there early as there is always a wait because everyone knows it is so good!!
Love Jenson's for breakfast! I was with a friend who had never been. We both enjoyed the Swedish pancakes with lingonberry sauce, eggs, hers over easy, mine poached, and bacon. The bacon was thick cut, cooked perfectly,, and wonderfully delicious!
Our service was excellent but the food today wasn't up to its usual good level . The bacon was burnt and much of the food was cold.
I have driven by this place your sometime now. I thought it was just a small cafe/coffee shop. I googled cafe s In the area and my 3 kids and I decided let s give this place a try.
My family was extremely impressed with the Service from Pato our server to our amazing breakfast.
Huge portions at reasonable prices.
Highly recommend.
Pretty good. They took awhile to take our order, which made my boyfriend late for work. We went in at 10am, and he worked at 12pm...
Awesome place for breakfast. Try their peach pancake.
Excellent food and wonderful comforting environment. Though waiter service can be very slow to non-existent.
The food was ok and the service was fine. The Swedish pancakes were great. The caramel roll was impressively large but dry and not very tasty. In addition the cheesy hash browns were also disappointing.
Best french toast. Breakfast dishes are the prime choice here and you can order whenever you wish. Staff is attentive and always ready to refill your cup. A busy place on weekends so anticipate a bit of a wait.
I went in for breakfast this morning with the team. About 6 of us. I can understand the wait to make sure that all the food came out at the same time. Me and one other person order the same omelet except mines was without mushroom and with jalapenos. My order was still incorrect so I was waiting to eat and have to deal with the polite declines of others wanting to share their food with me. When it did come out I don't even feel as though it was worth the wait. I like my omelets to have flavor in them and I felt as though mines was bland, maybe blame the seasoning of the eggs and I wish I had gotten the Cajun breakfast which I usually order to go and devour! Moving forward, the waitress was pretty decent.
Not only was out server a spitting image of a young Helen Hunt, but she was very funny and extremely attentive. The food is not only picture perfect, but taste fantastic. It is not the most inexpensive place, but the quality you would expect with the slight additional price warrants it. I love this place and will certainly be back.
Takeout & pick up process was easy & friendly - we were able to pick up order quicker by calling in rather than using online order option. We got two orders of the Fish Fry entree last Friday night with the pickle chips appetizer. After a 10-minute drive home, the pickle chips were still very crispy (a bit too spicy according to my kids but the adults liked them!), & our fish fry entrees were still really good. The cheesy hash browns side is always a favorite & I was happy trying the green beans-n-bacon side too (lots of bacon pieces, yay!). Overall great ordering experience & the service was very friendly & efficient.
Food is excellent and service is usually five stars. Big portions.
The food deserves a 5 star but the waitress was terrible.. i asked for honey she brought out an almost empty container, i asked for syrup and she grabbed an almost empty one off the table. I had to ask her to bring me a full bottle of honey and a clean full syrup container.. ahe should know better.
Amazing breakfast, huge proportions! Best homemade apple juice, I ever had! Nice cozy atmosphere and friendly service.
Good coffee and food, prompt service. A little busy but not surprising given what I just said. Would visit again!
Very home like food. Very delicious stuffed french toast. A little spendy, but worth it.
