Fried rice is so good that I order extra to take home.
Great place with a great atmosphere to grab a bite to eat with your friends or significant other. Good menu selection with fresh fish and non fish items to order from. The hibachi chefs are professionals and always entertaining even when super busy
Japanese Palace, my wife and I have been going there from before we got married now 36 years later and eating there ,their food has always been great no complaints at all. Just this last time I order every time the emperor dinner, what's the side of scallops. The problem was the lobster was tough, and the steak was tough. They did take care of the problem, and yes we will be going back.
The best hibachi place in Fort Worth. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is always so friendly and the cooks are wonderful and always put on a good show. The food is worth every penny, it is delicious.
Had fun! Prices are high, but the experience is unique.
Price is ridiculous. Much higher than any Japanese Steakhouse i have ever been. Food was good and cook was funny.
Best Place I've ever been to!!!!! The food is amazingly good! 10/10 would recommend !
It's hard to beat hibachi grill. Japanese Palace does not disappoint. We ordered standard entrees at the grill, and everything was delicious. The couple eating with us got a monstrous meal, and the additional sides they were served were delicious. It's a fun dinner out every once in a while, and the leftovers are delicious. Go ahead and make the trip. Yum!
Not worth the 2 hour wait. There is better hibachi out there for cheaper, respect your time. The cocktail waitress did well.
service and food was awesome!!! long Island tea's were good and strong!!!
Great place to eat dinner with friends and family. Food is good.
Place was disgusting . From the vegetables to the meat ! Used way to much salt , our chicken was borderline raw and the chef looked rushed to get done . Go to Edohana instead !
We went here for graduation a first time experience and the food was veer good.
Outstanding food, good entertainment watching chefs prepare the meal. 4 stars for service tempo too fast, not allowed to enjoy atmosphere and relax.
Longtime customer. Love this place. Get the margarita on the rocks.
Our family loves this place. I won't lie... we mainly go sushi... and it has always been great.
So authentic
Really feels good like you in Japan.
Some employees even speak the language and know the culture.
Really fun place to go with friends. Always packed. Very old school Fort Worth.
Great food and many options. Meat or seafood and vegetables. Chef is fun to interact with.
Over priced and not that good at all. No flavor to the food and you feel like you are rushed in and rushed out! We had two chefs and a big party one was great and one had no personality at all. I ve been to a lot of Hibachi grills and this one was by far one of the worst. Will not return.
Their salmon hibachi is wonderful! Great atmosphere, but it is a little on the pricy side.
Jesse best master hibachi chef I've ever watched. Food is superb
Foods expensive but also very delicious and it's so cool how they make the food right in front of youd
The staff was extremely polite, pleasant and the meals changed into superb.
What a TERRIBLE experience. Ordered a tea, my husband and daughters drinks came out, the tea never came, so I asked for a coke instead. Had to ask 4 more times for my come to come. Then, being 4 months pregnant, I didn't realize every single thing besides tempura veggies in the bento box would be raw. When the waitress brought it out, before she set it down, I apologized and told her I did not realize everything would be raw and being pregnant I could not eat it. So instead of taking it away immediately she set it down in front of me to be contaminated and said she had to go get the manager. The manager came over and I again explained I didn't know what the words meant and I was really sorry but I couldn't eat it. She looked at me rude ly and told me it says what's in the box on the menu. I told her I understand that but I really didn't know what the words meant and that was my mistake but I'm pregnant and I cannot eat raw fish. She then pointed at The temper of vegetables and told me those were cooked. I told her I'm not paying $28 for some fried vegetables. She picked it up angrily and walked away without another word and they let me pick something else. we ended up having to leave because our two year old was terrified of the fire on the grill and we didn't want her disrupting other guests. My husband paid at the front and the waitress came over and started digging through our stuff still on the table while I waited for the rest of the food so I could back it up. She told me he said he left the tip on the table and I said I didn't know about that. She then brought me the change from where he had paid cash at the front and I said that's the tip and she stood over me until I finished bagging our food and left. Very awkward we will not be back
Food and service was fantastic! For my first visit I enjoyed it very much!
The place is nice and so is the staff. Before I start know this was to go, their hibachi selection may be different if eating there. The food is over priced compared to other hibachi places. The portions are decent but doesn't come with fried rice and that's always the best part. The soup is good, the salad dressing is liquid instead of the standard ginger slaw type it's not bad but not exciting either over iceberg lettuce. The steak was cooked to order and good. Just feel like they should have better selection for the money and fried rice with the dinner and plenty of it like most other places. The Mixed drink was basically alcohol with color, so that is up to you to decide on that. Beer was cold though and good.
Excellent food and great people make for a very enjoyable experience!
Amazing food, experience and staff!! Love this place! The bartenders have been there for over 30 years, and are awesome! Definitely recommend this place!
Best Hiabachi I have had in Texas. A little more costly than most, but WORTH IT!!
Wonderful place!! Have gone here for 15 years and the food continues to be amazing!
Food is decent... wait and order of sitting is a disaster. We waited over an hour for a party of 6 when we got there at 5:45. We felt like we were just part of an assembly line for them... in and out. The cook didn t have much flair or wasn t anything special over other hibachi places I ve been too... you do get a lot of food, but still too high priced for the taste and flavor. When we were done they threw my wife s birthday cake (we brought with us) on the table at the end and finally brought knifes and a plate... we could tell it was very much a hurry up and eat this so we can sit someone else here mind set. I ll spend my money elsewhere.
The service and food were excellent. I came on my birthday and they sang me a birthday song with a gong! The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly.
Extremely expensive compared to other hibachi establishments. Not bad enough that we'd never return but this will be a rare date night.
1. Took us over 2 hours to get seated when we called ahead.
2. They forgot about my salmon and had to bring out another one after everyone had already gotten their food.
3. The chef was in such a hurry to cook it, it was still raw on the inside.
4. I tried to eat the parts that looked cooked, which was about 4 bites, and immediately had diarrhea when I got home.
AWFUL.
I love this place. Great food, atmosphere and great fun! Wish it were cheaper then I'd do it more often.
Consistently delicious food every single time. The wait staff and chefs are outstanding. Excellent, friendly people. This is one of my favorite places.
This place doesn't carry yum yum sauce. Most places do. The ones who are cheap seem to not. Most of the time I go the people don't want the ginger sauce. Some excuse it others just don't use it. There's a reason some are busier than others. Just my 2 cents. I won't go back. Cleanliness is an issue as well. All kinds of food mattes up in the carpet. This place has good goes off operating. But nothing else stands out. Be warned
The food is excellent. The staff friendly. It can be crowded and loud, but still comfortable. They do not take Discover, even if the ticket books all say Discover on them
We had a party of 14 and the cook was awesome. Only problem was that the lady rushed us out of there
Food was totally worth the price. Would go again with family and friends.
Food wise, the sushi and sushimi are great! But they pack you in like sardines in there, especially at the hibachi table. Basically sitting on your neighbors lap. I understand that it was a busy night, but I just wish there was a little more sitting room to get comfortable.
Service was bad the food had the quality of a buffet place, salty and nasty.
I arrive at this outstanding place every couple of days because I like the special atmosphere that is characterizes this place. The staff is awfuly friendly and well trained. The service is pretty fast. Needless to say, the food they serve is perfect. I frequent more than once and I was never disappointed. The payment is decent. I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends.
Food and service was great. Expensive, because you are definitely paying for the show.
Good food and the plum wine was delicious. The chef was very entertaining.
Having never been to such a place it was a good experience the chief was fun to watch the. Food was good considering Im not much of a sea food person. Over all it was an enjoyable experience. Id give it five stars except for a bait and switch with the check at the end of the meal.
It was really good food. Good service. Very loud though.
Food was okay, tasted like other japanese places ive been at but this place charges more expensive. You're paying extra for the ambience and the place since it looks like a "japanese palace" plus to feed their koi fishes outside. Anyways this place is good for a date night or just any special occasion not for everyday.
Far and away my favorite habachi restaurant. The food and drinks are excellent. The service is equally good. It also has a special personality that most other restaurants lack, from the servers in kimonos to the pics on the bar to the beautifully maintained ponds in front of the building. A Fort Worth original.
The atmosphere is great! The sushi was delicious! Clean and staff is friendly. Service was surprisingly fast for how busy they were.
Excellent food! Excellent service! Took my family to celebrate a birthday and had a fabulous time! The staff was wonderful and all the food was cooked to order! The New York Steak was absolutely the best I have ever had! Great value for a 4 course meal. And, my grandkids loved the show and their kid's meal. We will definitely be coming back again soon!
I love that they are so friendly and even though there is alot of rude customers they still treat them with respect. I love that you dont have to wait for a whole table there is also the bar side for those who dont want to wait long. Clean area and great food
First time here and was not disappointed! We had a great chef and it was a lot of fun watching the food preparation.
It is like walking into a bar in the 1960's. This place needs a make over. The food and service was ok.
What's not to like, it's dinner and a show! Teppanyaki cooking on the grill right at your table. Great meats, veggies, and fried rice. Not something for every night, but great fun for an occasion with a guest. Pricey, and worth it.
Waited for 2 hours as a party of 5, while countless people were seated before us. Hostess continued to tell every new group that came in after us that the wait was 45 minutes. Ended up leaving.
My husband surprised me here for mothers day. I was very satisfied with the food and service. We definitely be back!!!!
Great family friendly place with amazing food made right in front of your eyes
We had a real personable cook. A great birthday night thanks to my amazing husband.
The family and I have been 3 times and each time was an enjoyable experience in spite of the long wait and crowded bar where you wait for your table. I would advise not trying to go around 7pm. Either go when the open or wait until around 9pm when the crowd clears and you can get seated fairly quickly. If you have never been to a Hibachi, this is a good place to start. While they don't server the best steak I've ever had, it is a good cut of meat. A New York Strip is indeed a New York Strip, while a meal with "beef" does come with the thin strips a previous reviewer remarked upon. I would give a thumbs up to everything else, and recommend the seafood.
