Delicious and exciting.

Delicious and exciting.
The prices are a bit high for what I am use to, being a cheapskate and all, but it is absolutely worth every penny.
Great show for the kids too!

You have just found the best Hibachi/ sushi joint in Texas. There is a reason this place has been around since 1975. The food is consistently spectacular. The line gets long every friday and saturday night, go early.

Japanese teppanyaki style restaurant. I have been there several times over the last few decades. Always enjoyed it. Food was consistently good. Service was always top notch. Lots of fun. Portions were just right. It's an expensive place to eat, especially if you get "the works" but, it's a great place to go on special occasions or when you are celebrating. I don't mind shelling out the extra dollars if I am getting what I am paying for. Recommended.

VERY expensive in comparison to other hibachi grills. But the food and company were fabulous so I can't complain too much. Once you're sat and have your drink, you have to flag down waitstaff to order another and without a menu. Less than ideal.

My husband treated me here for my birthday dinner. Had not visited in 10 years! We had a delightful time just as I remembered years ago. Very welcoming! Service was excellent. Chef was amazing, and the food was delicious.

Love this place! I've been going my entire life and it's never let me down. The food quality depends on your chef, obviously, but 95% of the time it's great. You get tons of food and recommend sharing a plate with someone. You'll get plenty of food.

Servers were entertaining, but everything seems so expensive. Food was decent, but at 30-40 bucks a plate, I thought there would be more food. Shrimp and scallops were tasty, but lobster a bit overcooked. Not bad over all, but not worth 100 bucks for a meal for 2

We love trying new Habachi places and we weren't to thrilled with this one. They unfortunately use a ton of salt and we were charged on a separate bill for the coke we ordered. Definitely not how we wanted to celebrate our families birthdays.

A can't-miss west Forth worth institution. Definitely has a bit of a 60s-70s vibe when you walk in and that is a good thing. You can get the whole hibachi, prepared-at-your-table, live show complete with fire and train whistles. Always good food and very entertaining. For those seeking something a little more reserved, catch some sushi and rum drinks in the very time machine-like bar. Very mid-century in its decor. The rolls are big and tasty and the drinks are generously mixed and poured by a bar keep who I would guess has probably worked there for about 40 years (also a good thing). I like the place and there are lots of good reasons to go back. It definitely pays homage to when Camp Bowie West was in its heyday. I encourage you to try it out.

Still the original. Used to be when I was a kid everyone would dress up very fancy to go here, now it is super casual. But very few places do people dress up for these days, too much effort in the Texas heat I guess? Place is always full, good to have reservation, but not required to get in, but you may have to wait for a seat. Food always good, always fresh, always a great show.

This place gave me some home like feels. We figured we would try it for the first time and oh man sooo good. I think my favorite part of this restaurant was the "mom and pop" like feel. It felt like a family business and not some chain trying to scam you. Will come back+

Absolute favorite place my family likes to eat. This place is great for a family outing with young ones but also a wonderful place to go for date night. They always have an hour long maybe more wait but don't let that scare you, it's so worth it! Drinks are great and there is a comfy bar area to wait in. Very friendly staff !

Been going to this place for years 2 or 3 times a month with my family of 4 and it's not a cheap bill but the last time I came I asked for teriyaki sauce on my chicken and bean sprouts like I always do. I order the Japanese Palace special every time with no onions on anything because I allergic. This time the cook is upset I ask for no onions and he made smart ass comments while cooking the whole meal the he he puts the reds Sauce ( the one made with mostly onions) on my stake while he is cooking it. Then when I ask for teriyaki sauce on my and my child's chicken he refused. I asked to see the manger she said the only use another grill for teriyaki chicken and the teriyaki sauce damages the stainless steel cooking top. Which is stright BS. I wouldn't even go back for free

If i could rate this place a zero I would and it is simply because of the quality of service provided by the waitress. We were treated very rude. The waitress ignored us requesting fried rice numerous times then acted as if we never asked. She ignored us for the most part while she entertained everyone else at our table. She placed everyone's bowls of soup and salad on their plates but Reached across the grill to give us ours. She then proceeded to ask us and ONLY us how would the checks would be together or split apart while Saying nothing to everyone Else at the table. When i confronted her she acted as though she was completely oblivious. There was also a roach crawling along the edge of the grill. Needless to say we didn't have to pay for the meal however I took two bites before I was highly irritated with the alienation.

Japanese Palace is over a 5 star rating. There chef's are completely trained, and outrageously amazing, and could put a smile on anybody even in a bad mood. I used to go there when I was a child and loved then, and I will continue to go there as an adult into elderly age. Until next time I will continue to spread the word to my friends.

A hibachi style restaraunt with plenty of seating. Has a party of 7 with no waiting. Your order is cooked right there in front of you. The only drawback is they serve too much rice per person. Had steamed rice, then fried rice with the order.

A great restaurant for Sushi and Hibachi grill. Family oriented and a friendly Sushi bar where one can meet other sushi lovers. I have frequented this restaurant for years and the food and service has always been excellent.
