The steps in the bar are soooooo dangerous. 60 year old lade in our party tripped and fell. So bad.

Took my dad for his birthday and we enjoyed it. But the cook was not much entertaining per the guess sitting at the same table with us..

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!
I went here with my husbands family to celebrate his cousin turning 16 and from the moment we walked in we felt rushed. They make you wait until the entire party shows up, ridiculous but bearable then they sit you down and just hover over you. We sat in the Hibachi tables, great chef btw. We had our 1 year old son sitting in a high chair in between us and the dang waitress kept asking my husband to sit at the other end of the table-eventually i raised my voice and told her NO, HE'S SITTING HERE! From that point, i kid you not, the same waitress asked us if we were ready to order about every 30 seconds!!

Horrible, we felt rushed the whole time. They started clearing our table and bringing out to go boxes while we were still eating! Food was pretty good, good sized portions compared to other Hibachi's i've been to.

Will never come here again!!!!

To me, this is the best hibachi restaurant ever. The fried rice is unrivaled, the drinks are stiff, and the chefs are top notch. Expensive but worth it, the palace is a Fort Worth crown Jewel.

We visited this place for the first time and really enjoyed it. The place is very nice, the staff was exceptionally nice, the chef was great. My kids even ate the sauteed onions and peppers - that was a first, They also really enjoyed watching the chef and interacting with him. The food was very good as well. We will definitely go back and highly recommend this place.

This was our first visit and will go back as the Filet was outstanding for a Japanese Steakhouse. The Shrimp was cooked perfectly and not overdone as most places prepare it. My only suggestion that I would make for improvement is the vegetables. The vegetable mix lacked broccoli and carrots but the bonus was the eggplant which was excellent.

really good. i ate there. they fry the rice in house not in a factory like other places

We would not recommend and We will never go back!!!!!! We went Saturday night for my son's birthday. They do not accept reservations. They promised we would have no problems being seated. We arrived at 630 pm, party of 7. They continually seated smaller parties who would fill a hibachi table, many parties came in after us and were seated.
Even at 9pm they would not estimate when we could be seated! my husband had been going there for 20 years, we will never go back. They ruined my son's birthday celebration!!!

for fried rice!
Plus expect 20% added to your bill for party over 8!!
Those 2 charges added $100 extra on my bill
Probably go somewhere less expensive next year!!

Be prepared to wait, Even after your seated. They only have a few chefs so your seating time is long. The food is good though.

Been coming here for 20 years. Have always had awesome food and service. Sushi to habachi all have been good. Will continue to come to Japanese Palace.

Great atmosphere! The other patrons we were seated with were open and very conversational. They have a good selection of Sake and the food is cooked to perfection. Fantastic!

The food was amazing the service is outstanding as well. Just be prepared... don t eat anything all day you will get sooo full but its completely worth it!!!

Ended up here on a whim. The food was good. The chef was entertaining, but one of the air conditioning units was dripping water pretty badly, so I hope they get that fixed

The food was amazing and the hibachi experience is very entertaining. It's a little pricey though, so for us it will to be somewhere to go for special occasions.

Awesome place. Be prepared to eat a lot if you get the special. Very clean and the staff is amazing and makes the whole experience so much fun. What is the best part is that my family and I have been going here for 10+ years and every time the food is consistent as well as the staff. I highly recommend this place.

Delicious food, very expensive, ridiculous wait time, staff is always rushing, cooks don't interact or entertain as much as other similar restaurants.

I liked the interior more than their food. Too pricey compared to other Japanese places. The food was as good as other Japanese restaurants.

Food was pretty good at a reasonable price for the setting. Worth another trip.

I have taken my family here for birthdays and holidays for over 30 years. I have traveled in every state in this nation accept Hawaii , and still believe this is the best Japanese food I've ever had. Do not be in a hurry. It is a dining experience , not a fast food establishment. Try the Japanese special. It's still our favorite

We should have known what was going to happen when it was next to an RV park. Horrible service... our chicken was rubberish...my 2 friends and I threw up immediately...only gave us 9 dollars back for our chicken. If you are planning on eating at this place make sure you have health insurance because you will need an immediate trip to the Surgical trauma room for your GI tract. I don't think I have ever had a worse meal in my life do yourself a favor and save yourself the trip.

This place is huge and accommodating. We went on Valentine's day and since we didnt have a preference for sitting in Hibachi or Sushi section, we walked right in and got a booth. There are so many good items on the menu it can become a rather expensive dinner but it is worth it. We had great authentic service and experience. We will go back again. There are not a lot of vegetarian options unfortunately, so I made the choice to eat seafood, against my usual no meat preference.

Excellent cuisine, check out the cooking tables. Relax and take your spouse or girlfriend, and enjoy.

Sushi was fantastic and they had kirin on tap. Was a little expensive, but very nice. 5 stars if it wasn't 40 bucks for 1 roll and 2 drinks. Overall very nice

I'm sure this place has good food, but didn't want to wait to try it. They weren't clear about wait times. Over the course of an hour and a half, we checked wait times about 4 times and each time they couldn't give us a straight answer. Probably better not on a Saturday night. And they don't take reservations.

This place is wonderful! They cook everything right in front of you at the table and make a show of it. The cooks are wonderfully skilled at their craft and the food is excellent! The restaurant is beautiful, the restrooms have been redone, and the rest of the staff is great too! Each of our meals came with soup and salad and the chicken and steak is AMAZING. Someone in our group got a huge plate of sushi. I don't eat sushi but they looked like little wrapped presents. I can't wait to go back next time!

I have come here for dinner multiple times and every time the service was excellent, and the food beyond excellent. The drinks are pricey, but well worth it and very strong. The Emperors Dinner is a must, absolutely divine.

This restaurant provides amazing service as well as delicious meals. One of the best spot in the area. The meals came out quickly and the prices were economical. Highly recommended.

I ve been going here since I have a toddler with my family & it has ALWAYS been amazing! So much tasty food, fun environment, great drinks. This is THE Fort Worth hidden gem!

Still the best!! Highly recommend but don't be in a hurry...this great restaurant/food is not to be rushed. Give yourself 90 min for the meal after you are seated & if u don't come early, gotta add some extra time to your total time here. Well worth it!!

The food was excellent, as was the chef. The only negative was that they added gratuity to our bill but didn't give us the itemized receipt so we tipped on top of the 20% they had already added.

Good cooks. Big portions. You won't leave hungry. The Shrimp and NY steak are probably your best bets.

This place sucks. Seems like it would be nice till the 3rd or 4th time you visit for your birthday and they still can't get your water to you in the first hour. WAY OVERPRICED

Food was amazing, I was apart of a very large party so the chief had a lot to do. All of the food was delicious and prepared perfectly. As far as the show that the chief delivered I would say he did the usual. Simply put he needed no tricks to make the experience the best part of our weekend. I'm sure if we had kids with us or something he would of delivered a show that would be memorable and fun.

They are always delicious. Great food and service. I have a mushroom allergy and they always work around it for me without hesitation.

The wait took forever- we were never served. We ended up leaving. Very Disappointed!

Amazing service and food...the staff was so attentive..we arrived at about 9:20pm, and even though they close at 10 and we're already starting to close down the cooking tables, they still treated us perfectly...the chef that cooked for us engaged us as if we sat at a full table and it really made our night that even though we were the last 2 people in the entire restaurant, they still treated us as if it wasn't the end of the night and they were ready to close.I commend their professionalism and the great attitudes each and everyone that was working that night had.Highly recommend to everyone...amazing in all aspects.

Awesome decorations and setup feels like you are in Japan. Didn't try the the habachi but it looked delish. The sushi was very good

Food was good, but way too much SALT! It's not as good now as it was about 3 years ago, I think it may have changed owners. EASY ON THE SALT AND IT WOULD BE PERFECT

It was truly amazing! We went for our 20th anniversary and everyone went put of their way to make it special. The food was so delicious and the chef made watching him cook magical!

My family has been going here for years! We've been through the ups and downs. It is a great place! We love sharing the Japanese Palace Special between two people. My only gripe is that they use to serve orange sorbet at the end of the meal but stopped at some point. I wish they still did as it was the perfect ending to the dinner.

They don't accept reservations. Extremely long wait. Forgot our appetizers the we ordered during the long wait. Lounge area took a good while to get service. When we finally got to our table, the meal was simply ok. Probably will not visit again.
