The location is very good, the rooms old.
The people who clean, very bad wave.

Location might be good.. But had a very awful experience with this hotel.
I am a gold SPG member booked 2 rooms and months ahead asked for early check in as I was traveling with my 82 year old father.
They had no sympathy!!! made us wait in the lobby from 10 to 4 to get a room.
Will NEVER come to this hotel again!!!

Manager sent two people to our room in the middle of the night, still not sure why. We locked the deadbolt earlier so they couldnt get in. The manager then called (at 3am) and said how unacceptable it was, and offered a free breakfast. Really??

Stayed there for 3 days before we went on the cruise ship. Direct beach location on South Beach, just great. Great big room here is nothing missing. Breakfast costs extra as usual in the US. very nice

We had a three night stay with another couple. Booked our rooms together under one name with the request we would be close to or adjoining. Our room was in their Lanai area and our friends were up in the tower. Two different buildings. Our room never had hot, much less warm, water in the shower even though I complained every day about it. The pool is small. Service is spotty and the clientele is not what one normally sees at on of Starwoods upper brands. I do not recommend.

The hotel was fantastic as well as the employees working there. They are quick to be of service and were even able to get us checked in sooner than normal due to an early flight into Miami. Literally steps from the beach out the back of the hotel. Will stay again. Clean rooms with great views, just ask for them and they will do their best to help.

Probably my favorite hotel to stay in in Miami south beach.
Great service, clean, quiet

Nice rooms, especially those with a balcony and an ocean view, large bathroom with quality products. We have been called at 10h am for some promotion that i was not interested with, cutting a precious hour of sleep, this is Miami, the bars are opened 24/24, don't call your clients at 10am, please. Otherwise this is a nice hotel with friendly staff. The restaurant is excellent and affordable.

Location is great and friendly service. The room needed repairs and their was no sound barrier and the hotel would blast music early in the morning. A friend's room had someone in it when she arrived which seemed odd as well.

I stayed here for 2 weeks & the staff was incredible and very helpful. The room was perfect for me and the hotel itself was beautifull! ! It's my first time in Miami and I will come back here to stay! A+++

This place is disgusting. I am glad we are only staying two nights and not a minute more. There was something like feces or something on the toilet and we called for someone to clean it. He came used some liquid out of an unidentified bottle and cleaned it off with the toilet tissue in our bathroom! He didnt have on any gloves and worst of all when we were trying to speak to him he didnt speak english which sucks when you are servicing customers in America. This is my second time at South beach and I will not be returning here. I paid a whole lot less my last stay at another hotel and the service overall was better and it was super clean. Disgusting!!!!!

This place was everything you hope and expect when going to a top quality resort on the Miami strip our stay was not only wonderful but it was immaculately clean and the art decor and rooms were absolutely breath taking the view along with the staff and service were top notch and worth every penny of our weekend get away at this resort would suggest to families and friends of all ages and they have a special night life for the young adult crowd to enjoy and partake perfect summer retreat.

Dirty and poorly maintained rooms. I may have set my expectations too high, was so disappointed with this hotel. Broken bed, broken furniture dirty walls, counters and curtains. Traveled during Covid-19, expecting a higher level of cleaning, but the room was dirty. Front desk staff has no idea what amenities are available. Best part of this hotel is the location and the beach!!!!

We stayed here for a staycation in South Beach. The building from the outside was pretty nice but definitely seemed like it needs some more maintenance upkeep. The customer service was pretty good. They had some activities at the pool that we enjoyed. It has pretty quick beach access but we had a problem with the gate not working properly so a lot of the guests could go out to the beach but couldn't get back in. There are few really good staff members but there were a lot of poor staff members that just didn't seem like they care too much. But that is the general theme in South Beach customer service is lacking in a major way down here. At least from my experience. Though it was nice to be able to watch the Fourth of July fireworks right from the balcony. But they charge for every little thing even $9 to order room service which I thought was odd. I probably would not stay here again.

With many issues (AC out, smoke detector chirping etc) the staff, especially Brianna, have been fantastic! The rooms are good, beds comfy, drinks a little high priced but bartending top notch. Good, clean, nice place to stay....service and staff OUTSTANDING!!!

This hotel honestly sucks. Expensive, outdated, the pool closes at 10pm, even on weekends, bar closes at 11. The light in our room is one of those ones with a switch on the cord, stapled to the wall/ceiling instead of being a real fixture that s actually installed. Built in 1931 and feels that way. If you re looking to have fun in south beach try literally anywhere else.

Renovated hotel, friendly staff, rather Spartan outdoor area and intransparente pricing. It was surprisingly charged a resort fee. More appearance than his.

Pesimo hotel- old, damaged-, pesima attention additionally a tube sounded and they told me that because I did not buy ear plugs. It is not justified to come for a hotel

The service was great even though the breakfast is expensive

A complete do-over completed last winter by new owners turned a so-so property into a South Beach treasure. The food and bars are great, especially the rum bar.

My friend left at Concierge a bag of special chocholate for my cristmas tree from my country.....and the councierge people open it and ate it....how nasty you are and how unprofessional for a 4star hotel....and dont even say sorry!!!!!!i will never ever recommend this place for sure....

Had access to a standard room and a 2-room suite. The suite was quite nice and spacious. The standard room was terrible, but I think we had a particularly unfortunate room. The barn door to the bathroom did not lock and didn't even shut properly. The toilet was broken and we had to have someone come fix it in the middle of the night. The unfortunate location of the pool makes this hotel a considerably less attractive option because it doesn't have an ocean view and somehow is surrounded by a wooded area. Poolside service was non-existent and, even at the bar, it seemed the cash register was not working properly. Drinks were ok but nothing worth noting.

Could not believe it is a Marriott.
Needs a lot of maintaining.
We got two rooms one was ok the other had mold and my daughter was deliverers a dirty towel with something I d rather not mention.
Don t order food drinks at the beach. It took over an. Hour.
When we made management aware they said someone would come check. - still haven t seen them.
They did compensate us with one night free. And took the pool food off. But i would rather pay and get what I am expecting.

So many issues with my stay. First it took multiple about 20 swipes of each of my room keys to get in the room. We then entered the room to find the wonderful stench of mildew. After driving down to Miami from Orlando I felt I needed a shower due to the humidity and I'm from a dry state. I went to turn on the shower to find it would not turn on and there was some "dirt" on the tub surround. After playing with the handle for a few minutes I got water to flow. After another couple of minutes the water was I would say cooler than the ocean there but I really wanted a shower so I took a cool shower. I went down to the front desk and let them know of the issues. They said the battery in the door probably needed to be fixed they would check the shower and send housekeeping up and offered me free breakfast. After I returned to my room from dinner I found that I now only needed to swipe my key 10 times to get the door open, the shower now worked and my beds were remade from checking them for cleanliness due to the state of the shower/tub. My wife and I sat around for a little bit before bed talking on the "balcony" and waiting for our son to go to sleep. When we went to bed finally I pulled back the sheets and sat down. My hand found a wet spot in the bed on the sheet. I went back down to the desk to inform them of the situation. Their solution was for me to wake my young son and change rooms. After some discussion went on they would only take off the resort fee from my room and came up to change the bedding. We had asked earlier to change rooms but we're denied due to they were completely booked. All of a sudden they had room. The housekeeping crew that arrived blamed the wet spot on my son who was asleep in the other bed. I can not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is horrible! Not worth the price, check in time for Lifetime Titanium ... 30 min,, upgrade... doesn t exist... beach view... don t count on it... TV doesn t work... stay here at risk to your wallet!

Great hotel in an excellent location in South Beach. Valet is quick, and front desk was helpful. Great for a couple's weekend away.

The rooms was very modern and clean, and the bathroom was nice and big too. The bed was comfortable but where this place really has is a beautiful pool and hot tub area and beach access. I would certainly stay here again.

For those who like the consistency of marriott owned properties, please consider other lodging. We stayed during COVID, so expected barebones service and limited amenities. We weren't disappointed. The property was in shambles, rooms filthy and dated, the staff was rude and completely uninterested in their small amount of guests. I hope this is a unique experience based on the current state of vacation travel. With that said, we will no longer be booking with marriott's resort portfolio. It is sad and embarrassing that such a consistent, reliable chain (I've stayed at 50+ locations on 4 continents) has allowed one of their properties to fall into this level of disarray. Marriott, please put a lens on this property and invest properly in the people and assets, or divest and let this become a super 8.

I cannot begin to explain how amazing my trip to Miami was! The hotel was the nicest, cleanest, and with such exceptional customer service. Everyone was sweet. The room was great, beds were comfy, two pools although the hot tub wasn't as hot as I would have liked it. View was great. Did I mention that our backyard was the ocean? Every time I think about my stay at the hotel, I have a smile on my face. Its minutes from Ocean Dr. I would probably say it's the ideal location to stay in South Beach. Loved every second of it. Thank you Royal Palm!

In reality, each besq that I have money and time will be there, personally, and my friends who have visited the Royal Palm, what has happened, super customer service is special from parkin vouchers until security, everything is super, I pick it up everyone who may be interested

The valet is the best on the beach. Been to alot of hotels in the beach. First impressions are top notch. Image is everything, pull up to any hotel and get bad valet service. The rest of the hotels maybe nice but your first impressions will dictate the rest of your experience. If you get bad greetings at valet would you trust them with your car? That is why I never valet park my car. If I was to valet park my car anywhere on the beach it would be at the Royal Palms.

Highly recommend place to stay! Agar and the staff made us feel very welcomed. I recommend getting the ocean front view higher level like we received.

Make sure to check this place out. You won t regret it.

Quite room. Super comfortable bed. Great location. Tons of amenities. Attention, this hotel charges a resort fee that includes beach towels and lounge chairs but not the umbrellas.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for 5 days. We enjoyed the pool and had an amazing experience. The location is PERFECT, walking distance for everything. We did not need to rent a car. We will be back!

I m a Marriot man for life after a one night stand at the Royal Palms. Front desk secret agent Seshu and the waiter at the pool restaurant Rakesh get all these five stars for some of the best customer service I ever did see. And I ve been to Trader Joe s at least twelve times. I can t stop eating their Joe s Sour Cream and Onion Corn puffs. Sometimes I ll go into TJ s with a Hawaiian shirt on and bust open a bag of those puffs to share with the customers.

My stay at the Royal Palm is highly recommended!
I got a great price on this hotel that is super well located.
It appears to be an old but remodeled and very well kept hotel. Very spacious rooms with a dining table, the bathroom is also very spacious and the bed is super comfortable.
It has access to the beach with towel and chair service (umbrella at an additional cost) and bicycle service.
ATTENTION: the mini bar has a sensor system that if any product is lifted from there it is automatically charged to the room's account !!!!! (View photo)

Worst hotel ever. Staff is extremely unprofessional and rooms are very small. I asked for a refrigerator to store my medicine but they said we do not have any refrigerator that is working now . The minibar inside rooms are owned by third party company which means you can t do anything with it unless you pay, plus you cannot store items. Stay away from this property.

My stay at the Royal Palm has been relaxing and fun. The service, atmosphere and amenities are great. I've enjoyed food and drinks from the Grove (outdoor restaurant) both days of my trip. The Red Quinoa salad and the empanadas are delicious. Fresh flavors that entice you to eat every bite! The private beach was nice and the pool area was hopping. Fun times! Friendly, helpful service too. Thanks for the great hospitality!

Wonderful, AMAZING, and Stellar staff. Just need more of them. Though the property needs a little TLC, the location is great. Rooms could be more eco friendly, as well as the smoking areas in designated locations. However, from Kimberly, to Bruno, to Alan, to Brianna, and the AWESOME Gio, this front desk staff delivers. The Breakfast cast Esther and Endwin are rare gems. The hospitality here is Amazing, just get them CLONED. WILL BE BACK!

Not even worth 1 star, terrible, dirty, old, smell of marajuana in our hallway, had to use a towel for the bottom of our door so it wouldn't come in our room. Worst Marriott property ever stayed in!

Nice hotel on the beach, staff was good, but the rooms could be nicer

It was a pretty nice room, and there was a comfy bed. But the restaurant wasn t good since they made lots of mistakes on our food.

Its ok nice place but outdated rooms and customer service is just ok.

Cost way to much and the place says on the door 100% non smoking around building. I ended up staying in the hotel in the same plaza as them and they had a beautiful smoking section set up out side. There lost, my gain.

This is not 4 Star Hotel, bad very bad. Dirty room, insult for hotel industry.

A little small which caused the pool to be a bit crowded at times.

The pictures are not a great representation of the actual rooms or hotel. They look much better in the pictures. This hotel is nothing more than a over priced Holiday Inn. They charged me twice for the same night and the room they put me in smelled like mold. Rooms are small and old. All the amenities are under renovation and the staff aren't the nicest either.
Won't ever be back.

A 4-star hotel that deserves 5, cool drinks at the entrance, spacious room, royal pool with its privatized beach

Location is good. No heads up that it was under heavy construction. Lobby and pool are both not available. The finishes aren't great, and hotel seems to be between styles. A little dirty and worn in common spaces.

It is comfortable, very clean and the staff is very attentive and to be without a car its location is perfect, surrounded by bars and restaurants. Rooms have minibar and coffee maker. They also leave you coffee, tea and 2 bottles of water per room per day. It has a swimming pool and beach service with deck chairs and towels.

This is a beautiful hotel with lot's to do. Child friendly. Family friendly. A haven for si gles & couples. The beach is easily accessible. (Behind the hotel)Two scrumptious pools. Yoga classes. Good gym. Pool Zumba classes. The rooms are clean and cimfortable. Indoor & outdoor bars. A very nice place to chill & relax.

GROSS! My room was not ready until an hour and a half past check in. Then i get to my room and there is mold on the tub,floor,sink area and bathroom ceiling . I was shocked especially since this is a high end hotel...or so they say. I went to the front desk and she said she would try to gey me another room tomorrow...maybe she saud she cant guarantee. For real?? Not acceptable. Then they ask me to go on a time share tour. Are you kidding me? Why would i even co sider with mold in your rooms. Stay away from this place. Not like the pictures. Plus a 30$ resort fee per day and 43$ per day valet. So ridiculous for this low end dump

This hotel is very very good in every aspect.since the moment you get in they make you feel like home.the room are so acomodate it and the view to the ocean is amazing I will recommend this beautiful place to every one I know.thank you very much every one.brian and jenny the hosted are great and mariano the bartender is the best one in town.

Room was not as advertised. 2 bedroom apartments are far back from the ocean and barely have an ocean view. Windows were extremely dirty and hard to see out of. For the price we paid this hotel was a disappointment.
