Found Jambox Stdio after an online search for "transfer of LP to digital file." (I had a 1961 private label recording of my sister singing folk songs, and wanted to transfer it to share with family who'd never heard it). Lee Evans and Cathy Palmisano were helpful and patient explaining process and cost. I couldn't be happier with the excellent result. They were curious, generous and kind in their enthusiasm for the material I brought,. I was given samples of edited vs. unedited sound to make an informed choice. I see from other reviews that Jambox is a treasure to people who know what's involved in the engineering aspect, but it's just as valuable for people to whom this is all new. If you're thinking of a project like mine; do it!
Lee is one of the most patient guy ive ever met Ant nothing can get him upset and he always wanna make you wanna come back wich is great And the Spanish kid that did my session was the most professional it gets very positive good energy. But (ty) disappointed me with the mixing.
JAMBOX is an awesome studio! I just had my first session there today, and was very pleased with my experience. I recorded in The Blue Room. Really cool atmosphere, with great equipment. The whole staff was really nice and very welcoming. I felt very comfortable with everyone. My engineer, Tornel, was great to work with. Very professional and nice. He was very patient, and even helped me out with my arrangement and made sure my vocals and instrumentation sounded on point. The microphone he had me use.. I believe called something like The Kiwi, made me sound awesome. Everything sounds so smooth. I can't wait to come back here and work with them more!

The staff at JAMBOX were GREAT! I tried out the Gold package Gift of Song and everything went smoothly. They were patient about the lack of knowledge and helped me choose what sounded best. They had the tracks I had previously chosen prepared, but had to take time to print out the lyrics for the 2 songs. I thought they would have had everything ready since I had emailed the preferred songs the previous day. Next time I plan on bringing my friends along for the fun; I think they'll enjoy it as much as I did.
Visited Studio B for a session and loved it! Excellent vibes & staff. The sound quality was top notch. I look forward to booking another session.

The staff members are all very friendly and professional they are always trying to make your vision come true. I would like to thank Lee Evans for being one of the most caring,hands on,dedicated,passionate,talented,professional recording engineer,business man,and music pro.From the moment I stepped into his establishment I was greatly impressed with how friendly and compassionate him and his wife Cathy, and staff are.Lee is truly a master of his craft and a music legend and if you come to his studio you will feel comfortable,he is open to your honest feedback and he takes this feedback to give you even better service.When your in the booth he pushes you to do your best vocal take.He really cares about his clients doing there best.I would recommend this studio to anyone looking for top notch music engineering and production service.
I loved the atmosphere, and it was such a great experience for my birthday. My mom surprised me and took me to the studio where I recorded my favorite song weak by swv. I love singing but would never imagine recording it professionally in a studio. The service is called gift of song and I definitely recommend them for this experience. They have wonderful studios and the staff are very friendly especially the owner MR. Lee.
JAMBOX is a dope studio. Honestly my experience at the Studio couldnt have been better. The staff were outstandingly friendly. I'm New to the whole rap game and they made sure I got what i paid for and more. I've been to other studios. The insight JAMBOX gave me for developing my music is incomparable. I am so thrilled to have found this outstanding ... not even sure what to call them - it's a company that acts like a family. From the moment I called, till the minute I walked in, and what I came home with (just a few days later) is pretty much indescribable - treated me like I was the most important person they were dealing with. They are a high end recording studio (as evidenced by the studio and acknowledgements) and I went asking them if they could transfer an old 78 to a cd. What they did was unbelievable - not only did they not laugh at my request they transformed a family heirloom. Too long and hard to explain but my family and I could not have been in better hands.

I was very nervous coming to Jambox at first because I have never recorded anything at a studio before. Once I waslked into the building and met with Lee and my engineer, that completely changed. I did my session in the blue room, one of their more spacious studios.It was clean, and comfortable, and I definitely reccomend it to anybody looking to get quality recording, mastering, and mixing done.
