Corn is the best around. Such a cute place. We love to go here. I was very disappointed by the corn maze. It s listed as a family friendly event but the Halloween decorations terrified my two young children into not sleeping for days. The decor inside the maze is not appropriate for young children. Will not be going back to the maze again.

Szaley's Farm is a wonderful place. We tend to go there every fall for pumpkins, gourds and corn. They have lots of pies, breads, jams, jellies, fruit and lots of other vegetables. They have three food carts for burgers, hot dogs, sausages, roasted sweet corn (delicious), hot apple cider (delicious), lemonade and ice cream. They have a corn maze and a barn that has fun stuff inside. This is a cash only place. They do have an ATM but you might be better off going to the bank beforehand. I look forward to going back.

Bring a backpack if you're riding the canal, cause you'll want to stop here!! Stopped in while biking the canal, just to see what they had. Gosh are we happy we did, it doesn't get much better than this. Fresh corn, apples of all varieties, plenty of veggie choices, homemade breads etc., and my personal favorite, tomatoes! Usually, I'm leery of most tomatoes because many are hothouse grown and not worth eating. However, these babies were PERFECT. Beautifully red, great flavor, and huge! Had several awesome BLTs thanks to Szalay's and we're going back before leaving town to stock up. YUMMY!

They only accept cash. Which is ridiculous, it's 2020. They have card readers that plug into a cellphone. I understand there is a small fee for using card but with all the business they get that shouldn't be an issue. Tried to go buy some produce and had to leave without purchasing anything, the line for the atm was 12 people long.

Americana preserved! Szalays is a family friendly farm stand with outstanding selection of fresh produce and unique items hard to find elsewhere. Located right next to the towpath, you can get here by car, bike, or on foot. Fun in the spring and summer but a pilgrimage in the fall for the wisest selection pumpkins you ll find anywhere. Also they have a huge corn maze in October.

Great farmer's market with some awesome produce. In the fall there is a small corn maze (the path is covered with star, a nice touch) and a kiddy haunted barn, as well as a huge selection of pumpkins and gourds. Best avoided on Saturdays, when there are far more visitors than the parking and site can really handle. Also note they are cash-only, but there is an ATM on site.

We ride our bikes down the Towpath often and we stop in here often to have corn and ice cream. The corn is fresh and they shuck it for you and dip it in butter. The ice cream comes topped with fresh fruit. They have a corn maze off to the side in the fall. Inside the store they have tons of fresh fruit, Breads and all kinds of great foods you like. I would go for the pretzel bread!

Wonderful locally sourced and grown produce, baked goods, and more. Szalay's is the best place to by corn in the Akron area. In the fall, they put together family-friendly activities and it really gets everyone into the spirit of the season. It's a common stop for those biking on the Towpath trail.
