Beautiful hotel and great hospitality. Serves the best italian food in jaipur in restaurant Giardino. Also they serve the authentic indian cuisine in the restaurant Cinnamon. And a lavish buffet in Marble Arch.

Taj is known for its exquisite class and hospitality. With Jai Mahal Palace, it has definitely maintained its aura.
I visited the Palace right after the lockdown with my fellow colleagues and oh boy what can i say, it was exactly what we wanted, after being exhausted with all the staying indoors part.
The palace is located in the heart of jaipur and was pretty easy to locate by Google maps.
The property was radiating with its rich culture and soothing vibes. We booked 2 rooms with all meal plans for 5 people.
Coming to the food section- the taste was super authentic and i mainly ordered indian. All the meals filled my satiety centres and believe me there was nothing worth pointing out.
The rooms- however a little smaller, had a very unique design. Ceiling had the ancient designs worth staring for a while.Washrooms were neatly designed and used the space intelligently. My room was park facing and gave me a very royal feeling everytime I looked out of the window.
I was even provided with a complimentary fruit cake for my brother's post birthday celebration.
The next morning started with a melodious love flute play by ustaad ji while we enjoyed the breakfast.
I'd definitely want to visit Jai Mahal Palace the next time i plan to go to jaipur.

The service was awesome. The interior look was mind blowing . It looked like I was in a real Mahal. The food was incredible and the restaurant was also mind blowing. I just fell in love with it. I wish I can go to that palace again in my life. It would be a great opportunity for me

We never stayed there - we have been working with their manager for more than a month to get a program finalized. Since he gets another better offer he backs out. Very unprofessional. Basically don t trust the hotel management. Not sure what all promises would have been broken if we had actually been there! Good riddance.

Location is great, central area of Jaipur. The rooms were super pretty and lovely aesthetics of the entire hotel. The buffet had a variety of foods which were all very tasty although there was not enough indian food for my taste since I really wanted to try Rajasthani cuisine. Ended up eating oriental / western most of the time because of the dishes... Staff was extremely helpful and would go out of their way to make my stay more comfortable. Provides a great experience for families and couples. I don't think someone should come here if they're traveling all alone because it's not that much fun if you're alone (as is true for all things in life).

Well preserved old style palace converted into luxury hotel, and popular for weddings thanks to its nice and extensive grounds. The property is still owned by the royal family of Jaipur, yet rented out. The accommodations are quite good and confortable, the restaurants outstanding (Indian, italian, and multi cuisine), with a great pool and spa, and beautiful grounds. What takes one star is the service. It is not at the level expected for this type of hotels. If we exclude the non english speaking staff, the rest is really confused, and not helpful most of the time. Ask anybody a question and you'll get different answers.

Pathetic service at the coffeehouse , nothing like taj chavalry . I m a taj property person and always stay in taj. but very sad to see them either they are understaff or not bothered .what a injustice to a beautiful evening in a otherwise beautiful heritage property

We loved staying at this hotel, a palace which was later converted into a Taj hotel. Most of the staff are courteous and available for your service at any time. The service at their marble arch restaurant is really great. Mr.Balwant and Aslam did everything possible to enhance the experience of our dining at this restaurant. The array of dishes offered in the buffet is really great. Two things which were a bit disappointing was the Cinnamon restaurant and the check out experience. Cinnamon has a great ambience but the service and food were not that great. The evening rituals and performance at the hotel gives a sneak peak into the Rajasthan culture. Mornings, one would be woken up or can enjoy the breakfast along with the soothing music of the flute being played in the garden of the hotel.

Very disappointed.

Very disappointed.
The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms amazing. For the kind of money paid to stay here you would expect an impeccable service, unfortunately it was not the case.

We had a welcome letter at our arrival (honeymoon) which was addressed to the wrong person. We overlooked this as the suite was beautifully decorated and Gorgeous, and as the welcoming staff was nice.

We had drinks in the garden watching the evening show, we had to go order inside every time. No staff came around to check on us excepted at some point to drop us the bill which we did not ask for.
We ordered drinks, waited for 20 minutes, had to go to the counter where our drinks have been sitting and nobody attended. When asked the staff just said where are you sitting? Oh you still sitting there .

Despite this, we ordered again then the same staff said we don t serve food there just drinks , i said fine as i was just ordering drinks.
When I when back to my table I saw the guys sitting next to us being just served food...

Staff was cold, unwelcoming and obviously not happy with us sitting at the restaurant. Very bad experience.

Very very good place, great professional, trained staff with clean rooms, lots of extra activities keeps the tourists engaged and excited the whole time, food was excellent with a bursting blend of all sorts of Indian spices and flavors from around the country, the rooms were in mint condition was very clean and facilities were up to date. The only thing I would change about this magnificent place would be the size of the bathrooms(they were a bit too small)

Quite honestly I am a tad disappointed with my stay here. Perhaps I expected too much from a Taj Hotel of 5 star rating. The check-in experience was sad. The staff did not prepare the rooms and were a bit irritable. Unexpected from a five star property. The hotel rooms are certainly neat and clean but quite jaded. The bathroom fixtures are quite worn out. The TV remote was missing and I had to struggle to find the power switch to turnnit off. Ended up sleeping with a faint glow from the screen on my face all night. The room did not have an iron so I had to ask for one and I was sent a very poorly kept iron that was dysfunctional and the iron table was shaking wildly. The cafe is good and the food is tasty but the chef who prepared an omlette for me was refusing to acknowledge me. I had to ask him twice wheyher he understood how I wanted the omlette to be made. All in all very tiring and disappointing. Never expected such shoddy service frpm Taj chain. The training certainly is compromised thanks to demand far outstripping supply. Hope Taj tales note of this feedback and does something.

Fantastic experience. Spread over 18 acres of land, the majestic 100+ years old palace now converted into Taj hotel, is ultra luxurious. Hospitality at its best and greenery all around. Spotted a few Peacocks too. The food and the staff were amazing.

It is a five star hotel and the it's a taj groups of hotel. It was build by Sawai man singh the king of Amber for his beautiful queen Gayatri Devi. Design of hotel is based on rajput and mugal empire based. Hotel has a big open garden. Disk is altimate. Food was very delicious. Staff of the hotel is very humble and gentle. If anyone stay hear they definitely feel awesome. I will give 5/5 rating to this hotel. It was an fantastic experience to visit the hotel.
