The senior management was very good to us although their general approach to service is very outdated, traditional and orthodox. The front desk employees(even females) have an idea of male superiority and only address the men of the family because they have never been trained for anything other than Sir, this sir that . Very disappointed with some of the staffs uptight behaviour. They need more training; and need to be able to serve all crowd not just the upper middle class of small cities with new money. I m not sure if the management company is even taj, but if it is; it doesn t show at all. I have heard a lot about rambagh palace and trusted this property only for that reason. Unfortunately, it was not up to standards; at all.

Rooms: Dated with cliched claims of heritage hotel - however there are loads of better maintained palaces in the state. In one set of rooms the baths were stained. Narender from the front desk team spent much time understanding our needs after having made the again cliched claims of hotel running full. We sustained our "dharna".We then got "upgraded" to a suite after much complaining. The suite was clean, but the telephone lines were not working.

Upon requesting for hard bed, we were offered a plan of plywood below the sheets. One of the few places without 2 sided mattresses in this age.

The room Narender selected for us though was good as we got both "sunshine" and private sitting area, which made sense for our family and met our needs fully in that area.

Food: Tolerable food quality, local cuisine was totally poor. Service was fairly prompt. The Italian restaurant even accommodated our request to lay out a table in the sun.

Their patisserie has a wonderful tea collection and there was a claim for an upgrade of the coffee menu too, however they had no stock of the claimed gourmet coffee.

Property: An army of pigeons swarm the property, with accompanied pigeon poo all over including in the swimming pool area. On Sunday, we were treated to extremely loud music from an insurance event at the hotel premises. I wonder how any 5 star worth its salt permits such loud music within its premises. The property also has a fair shortage of sunlight in its restaurants and rooms. Possibly some of the restaurants could be relocated to utilise better the sunlight falling on their massive grounds instead of running high decibel bollywood numbers at insurance events. Certainly destroyed my spa experience.

It is one of the flagship hotel of the Taj group with 550+ rooms and 40+ suites. The hotel is located at a very quiet and nice place. The overall appearance of the building is very attractive and beuatiful. The service is also very good and helpful there.

It is a beautiful heritage property managed by the Taj Group of Hotels. Good landscaping, palatial rooms, the huge open air chess board is delightful. I visited the Indian speciality restaurant and opted for their special fixed meal. The preparations were good, the price fairly steep but it did leave a bit to be desired. In the past like around 15 years ago I have had the same meal on several occasions and I feel it was a bit better then and the presentation was more beautiful. Not to say it was bad now but not as good. Number of items seemed lesser but on the plus side wastage was lower now. It was more difficult to finish the meal in the past although I was younger and my appetite was bigger.

The hotel environment was great and serving staff was polite. The one thing our family didn't like was the fact in winters sprinklers were switched on making the grass very wet as we attended the wedding reception. Other than that, things were amazing and decor was really good.

Went to dine at the beautiful property of Taj. As the name says palace it's really a palace. Exterior and interior tastefully done. Food can be improved. Thanks to Shivam who arranged a surprise for our little guest birthday.

Everything about this Palace is so royal that I can't wait to see what they have in store for us, there are so many different ways to keep kids engaged, the staffs are super friendly as we reached way before check-in time but till the time we were finished with our breakfast they just provided us upgraded rooms so that we don't suffer because of the policy of check in being 2pm. Was so glad they just so responsible for every kind of comfort for their guest...let me finish with my stay will update more of this palace.

One of the top destinations in Jaipur. A wonderful restaurant Marble Arch which served a delicious food. The staff at the restaurant were exemplary in their behaviour and attendance. Prices are on the expensive side but worth the culinary experience and ambience

Staff was just amazing. They tried to make our stay as wonderful as possible.
Cinnamon is a great restaurant. We had a traditional Rajasthani meal there. The lawns were scenic and the red stone lends a regal elegance to the property.
Aakash from Reception, to Aslam from Marble Arch to numerous others ranging from the garden staff to the random guards and housekeeping; everyone was great.
