Not a place for women of color. The Tinker Hill ...

Not a place for women of color. The Tinker Hill recovery home for women does not have any minorities residing there. In all of this Jackson area I can not be convinced that their has not been but one woman of color that qualified for JACOA housing for YEARS. I resided there for 6 months and was put out almost 6 months to the day I moved in. Guess HUD finally said something and the housing manager of Tinker Hill Recovery Home needed to be able to put a minority on the books for a few months.

A person could not find a better place to start the recovery process. The staff are warm, caring and attentive from the director to the techs. Almost everyone that works here is in recovery and is extremely kind. The classes are informative and the environment is safe.

If you whistle habitually, this isn't the place for you. If you get caught whistling an old tune more than once and then express your incredulity over it while withdrawing from a life-deranging drug like heroin, you're likely to get tossed out.
