We just stopped in on our way through the Tetons and we're blown away by this lodge. The view out the windows is gorgeous and the interior is so hospitable, it's really surreal to be there.

Very nice Lodge, though we only went for dinner and did some shopping. Shops had nice assortment of apparel and souvenirs. Dinner was alright, though my burger was a bit overcooked, otherwise it was very good.

We had several rooms here, family vacation. We had the classic cottage room and then the Mountain View room. It was a nice place for everyone. I loved sitting outside in the morning with my cup of hot coffee enjoying the crisp morning air, we stayed in September 2015, listening to the elk. I wished they would have offered a free breakfast buffet.

The view was incredible, the food delicious and flavorful. I had the tostadas with goat cheese, pulled pork and aoli sauce, my husband had the shaved rib eye sandwich. Our server was very nice and provided excellent service, she pulled the shade down as soon as the sun was in our eyes. We didn't even have to ask her to. We will be back, very soon!

We got one of the cottage for the night. The room was great. Great speed for wifi. They are very flexible on check-in and check-out times. There's 3 restaurants in the lodge along with some stores. The concierge was very helpful too. The lodge has a great view of the Tetons.

Trashed "cottage". Utterly disappointed.

Trashed "cottage". Utterly disappointed.
My mom and I booked a cottage at the lodge for one night while passing though the national parks on a road trip and we were able to easy book a room over the phone, the staff at the front desk were very nice and the park is beautiful but other than that we were both beyond grossed out. (side note- we received the great walk in rate of $242 inclusive of taxes).
We arrived shortly after sunset to our cottage and the light was on (we assumed that it was done by the park staff because we arrived late- they say it was not them). Upon entering the room we found that the beds had been laid in, there was an almost empty container of Arizona tea on the table next to the coffee maker and a plastic cup that said "2 shots" on it, the soap was also used. When we called the front desk they seemed confused as to how that could be and apologized profusely, we went back to the main lodge and they gave us different room.
It was very late when my mom and I began to unpack our bags in the new room but this was even more of a disappointment, the room had not been cleaned at all! there was trash everywhere under the cover of the bed sheets and the bathroom had not been cleaned well in a while it appears.
The next morning when we checked out I mentioned this to the staff and they said "OK", and after I showed the photos I took they said we can speak to out housekeeping staff.
I am only sharing my experience to that you do not suffer the same disgusting fate as we did.

I was bit by a spider in Colter Bay Village recently. A lot of spiders come out especially when you are asleep. If you go to the restroom at night, you may find a lot of poisonous yellow/red spiders there. The service lady told me that she got bit too. There is no warning on their website. When I talked to Colter Bay Village, they said they are not responsible, and their attitudes were very bad.

Many other people also claim that they found spiders. Avoid this place! ! !

The hotel is very nice and the views are absolutely stunning but we stopped in the bar and had the worst service I've possibly ever had. To be fair the food was good but I've had better service at a truck stop. After our order was taken someone else brought the food we had to go find someone to refill our drinks and then when the bill came they told us to take our time but we're back in less than a minute to try and close us out. Would have been nice if they paid that much attention to us during our meal.

I drove over 300 miles from Salt Lake City to Jackson Lake Lodge by rental car. There was no view of the Grand Teton range because I booked a cottage accommodation. There were twin wooden chairs at the end of the green garden. We loved this private circumstance.
When the female mousse appeared quietly at the front of the entrance, I was so surprised at her big size.
From lobby and dining room of the main building you can see the wonderful mountain scenery. There were three big vertical windows with colonial grill patterns in the lobby and through the windows your eyes can catch a meadow and the Jackson Lake in the front, Mt. Moran (3840 m) in the back and the Grand Peak Teton (4199 m) on the left. The grill patters looked like many vertical monitors therefore I developed an illusion that I was watching the Grand Teton range by 8K broadcasting with multi-display.
Teton Mountain from this angle is jagged like the back of the Hollywood version of Godzilla, but there is some distance. The front face of Teton Mountain can be seen a little further south that the direction back to Jackson Hole.

The cabins are very nice. They have fans and coffee machines, and nice bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable. If you walk over to the man building, there is an incredible view of the lake and the mountains. I saw a moose.

Had dinner on the patio at the Blue Heron Lounge at Jackson Lake Lodge. The views of the Teton range across Jackson Lake were amazing. And so were the burgers, tostadas, and pork sandwiches.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Jackson Lake Lodge, the views out the back of the facility were just fantastic. The sun sets over the mountain range every night and makes a great spectacle around dinner time. There are a couple of restaurants in the lodge which we visited frequently, the wait staff is very friendly, some have been traveling in and working at the lodge every summer for years and you have to think that's not a bad way to spend your time.

Gorgeous views. Amazing views! Good but expensive food at the hotel grill (which don't have the great views of the fancier restaurant and bar).... But the service at the grill was fantastic.

The patio outback is a great place to look over Jackson Lake at the Grand Tetons while having a meal. At the tables engraved metal plaques of the Tetons include the names of each mountain.

We want to share our experience specifically with the Mural Room Restaurant at Jackson Lake Lodge. While we enjoyed the hotel and had a great room, our dining experience with the Mural Room was terrible. First, don't be fooled by their advertising, the Mural Room is not an upscale intimate dining experience. It is a loud, giant dining room, in which you will see patrons dressed in just about anything that you would see out on the trails in the Tetons. Second, we made reservations at 6:30 and while we were seated reasonably quickly, it took nearly an hour to receive our appetizer. It then took another 90 minutes to receive our entrees. Our waitress apologized and brought us some sorbet in between, but no other accommodations were made. Our wine was warm by the time our dinner arrived. One of our entrees, an expensive fish dish, was dry and unappealing. I would have sent it back, but I didn't like the idea of eating at midnight. In the end we didn't get out of there (even skipping dessert) until around 9:20, missing the sunset that we were hoping to see. I would suggest that anyone avoid this dining room and eat at the Pioneer Grill instead.

On a positive note, the main hotel is lovely, the Pioneeer Grill is a cool place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner (if you don't mind eating at a counter), and the views from the rooms in the main hotel are superb. The location is also quite good for visiting he northern end of the Tetons park or the southern end of Yellowstone (still a bit of a drive).

ADDENDUM: We received a call from the hotel manager after they received our feedback. He acknowledged a problem with their kitchen that they had been working on and refunded the full price of our meal.

Incredible views from the Mural room, the Blue Heron bar and the extraordinary great room on the main floor.

The rooms in the lodge are unremarkable, but the building is so beautiful and the surrounding area is so magical, it's worth a stop.

Be sure to stop in the Pioneer Grill for milk Shakes and a great burger.

There is a beautiful short hike off the deck of Jackson lake lodge When a beautiful view of Jackson lake and the Teton mountain ranges. There is also a memorial to John D. Rockefeller. They have free Wi-Fi, fantastic chairs, and cute local shops.

Staff were not very pleasant. I was lead to believe I wiuld have a room with a view. I did not. I was assigned to a cabin, which was quite a hike from the lodge. The bathroom and carpet was not very clean.
