Waited 45 min for a table that was literally right next to the cashier. Perhaps not the greatest place to be putting a table. Unless brushing up with everyone that pays their check while trying to eat breakfast is your thing. I'll be taking my business and my breakfast elsewhere.

So many rules, so early in the morning. I don't know what to make of the management, reading all the signs before breakfast is nauseating and takes away from the dining experience. There's this aloha mantra going on there and the lady behind the cashbox wasn't living up to the restaurant's aloha mantra, folded arms and pointing towards the hostess wasn't cool. Did I forget to mention the food was good?

Go here for breakfast and enjoy heaven! Super fast food and service. French toast, pancakes, all good!

Great breakfast. Try their secret menu! Go early as there WILL be a long line for brunch. Also, they only accept chipped credit cards or cash.

The wait was not bad at all. The service was friendly and fast. The food was great, the bacon was delicious!

Walked here while waiting for E3 to begin. Grabbed some spiced apple pancakes and they were amazing.

I got a seat at the bar right away because I was by myself. If I had been with someone there would have been a bit of a wait, even at 10:30 on a Tuesday.

The food and drink arrived quickly, the staff were friendly, but it took quite a while to pay up and leave. There was also a lot more food than I could possibly have eaten.

Excellent and creative pancakes. Delicious omelets, potatoes, and coffee. The Pancake of the Month is always spectacular, but sometimes they don't decide one until late in the month, or they stop serving it halfway through the month.

This was the best breakfast place I've ever been to! the customer service was excellent!!! the prices were reasonable .I am extremely happy with the service of this restaurant and my server was excellent I never once had to ask for anything she practically predicted my needs thank you. I highly recommend this restaurant everything was perfect everything was clean service was fast food was clean in very delicious perfectly seasoned

breakfast... super good. went there on a friday i think. there was fast and courteous service. kinda of like a restaurant in los angeles i loved to visit.

The food is delicious and the service is great. I only gave it four starts bcs of the long waiting time on the weekends.

Great breakfast place, my wife and I go on weekends and love their selection of specialty Pancakes and Waffles. You have to try their buckwheat pancakes! Awesome! Only downside is the wait time because it's always busy here.

Parking sucks! Foods great! Price seems reasonable.

This place is to die for my son had the French toast stuffed with Nutella this was good get the country fried potatoes the service is excellent or server I believe his name was Carlos very nice guy we met some very nice people there we watch the beginning of the football game NE and JAX

Coffee is great, pancakes are sublime, staff is amazingly kind and welcoming as well as on the ball. Come early to avoid waiting, but the wait would be worth it!

All I can say is great service and amazing food cause trying to get parking really sucks here.

Jacks N Joe never dissapoints. We come here every time we're in Los Angeles and every time the food is awesome. From the very tasty red potatoes, to the perfectly roasted coffee and the fluffy pancakes. All the food is very tasty and then prices are awesome. It is definitely worth the wait.

Blueberry pancakes with lemon butter where outstanding. The wait before 10 a.m. was minimal and the environment is very inviting. Staff were fantastic and it was a lovely brunch.

What a cute coffee shop! It's very spacious and there's a lot of seating for studying, working, and talking with friends. I got the grilled capreese sandwich, which came with a side of greens and vinaigrette dressing. I thought it tasted pretty good and wasn't too heavy, which is a plus for me. I also got the matcha latte and it tasted perfectly balanced and light. I would definitely come back and try other items on the menu.

Ok location for Breakfast. Great location to chill, eat some good food. The service here is attentive. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.

The food was really good! I got the blueberry pancakes with lemon butter....omgeee! Long wait so don't come starving, but it's definitely worth it.

Very bad service. Very bad food. I know thay its a Pancake place but believe me their omelet was the worst. Who puts this big peices of veggie inside omelet. Horrible. I know it has good reviews and mine wont matter but everytime my omelet is worst. I only go because my wife insists.

Was seated nearly immediately (Party of 2, me and a friend.) Waiter was kind and responsive. It took 8 minutes to get our food even with a relatively crowded building. The food quality was excellent. All in all an awesome choice for breakfast! 5 stars!

Wow this place good food very bad service. Can't believe with these waitress did we had a big party no exceptions no one could come here with Large party or may the reason is that I am Latino race and too many white people that they even send me to another restaurant to go eat wow I have money to pay... racism is at the door bad attitude... the food is good though

Food was good. Stick to the basics. Plain pancakes and an omlet. Dont order the smoothies. They are nasty and wont refund your money. You are stuck with it. Plan to park a few blocks away, and arrive early to avoid long wait.

Best breakfast place...Nutella french toast and pancakes are best

Food was decent enough, they promised a "blueberry puree" and instead put three blueberry on it. Not to mention we sat at our table for 10 to 15 minutes blatantly ignoring us when we tried to get a coffee refill.

Is ok, not as I was expecting, food is like any other chain breakfast diner, need to add on items in menu in order to get a full breakfast plate - like no toast on over easy eggs

They have omelettes, pancakes, and French toast, as well as a "jacked up" breakfast sandwich. The food is decent but the venue is way too small for the large amount of people who come here on a daily basis. The nice thing is that the food is not that expensive and breakfast is offered all day. However, the lack of seating takes away from the experience and breakfast is just as good at Denny's.

Good breakfast place that seems to always have a wait of 15-20 minutes. I had the crepes which were a bit underwhelming, and had some of my friend's eggs and blueberry pancakes. Their choices seemed much more filling and worthwhile than their crepes. Service is very friendly. Small parking lot in front, so expect to have to park a block or two away.

Excellent place for delicious Breakfast. Good place to catch up with friends. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The place has a great feel to it. Wish it was closer to my house, I would come every week.

Excellent food. Friendly staff. At peak times the wait can be 45 minutes for seating. But, service is quick and well worth the wait!

Good breakfast spot north of USC on Figueroa. The have a bunch of different breakfast plates but they are know for their variety of pancakes. They tend to be popular so if you go, go early it be prepared to wait. Parking is extremely limited so I recommend taking a Lyft or Uber.

We went on a Sunday morning before the crowd. We were seated right away the pancakes were good and so was everything. Great service and coffee. Just noticed they have parking in the front and the back.

The perfect breakfast spot. Staff is always super friendly and High Energy. Food is always above expectations. Have been here 5 times and have been extremely satisfied with every visit. My go to breakfast spot for special occasions or when I just want a breakfast to blow me away.

Amazing food enjoyed the loaded hash browns from the secret menu. Natalie was one of the best waitresses i have ever had she made me have an amazing first impression i can't say enough good things about her. Will definitely recommend and will definitely comeback.

Food was amazing and well worth the wait (even though the parking lot is small). Before you ll know it you ll be sitting down eating with your family and then out the door ready to seize the day.

Not very impressive. Found myself disappointed with service, food, and payment. Definitely won't be back.

I have a strong feeling that this place is very overhyped by other USC students that don't go to other breakfast/brunch locations in Los Angeles. The food here was just very mediocre and average for the same price that I would pay at a much better place anywhere else in this city.
I don't know what people mean by this being a "hidden gem". It was very crowded when we arrived on a normal weekday. The hostess also wasn't particularly friendly, and it gave me a very weird feeling about the place from the start.

Upon seeing the menu, I knew that it would be just your typical diner breakfast but with inflated prices and an attempted "hipster" twist to it. I wasn't surprised by reality. A mediocre, flavorless omelette. They clearly don't know how to make a good veggie omelette, because mine had literally no flavor to it. Very unimpressive.

To round out my utterly mediocre experience here, they told us that they couldn't split the check for us. I came here with some friends who were from out of town, and apparently because they weren't USC students, they wouldn't let us split the check? Weird. Very unfriendly service. Either way, we paid and then left.
I also left with my dismal expectations unfortunately being true, and a feeling that I most certainly won't be coming back any time soon or recommending this place to anyone from out of town.

After eye witnessing a car crash moment of Hell en route to [Jacks N Joe] it was "7 minutes in Heaven" for Brunch.. Delicious

The charming dubstep and mix music in the outside waiting area really made the brief wait to be seated very enjoyable. The food was amazing. We recommend combo 1 with the specialty pancake option for a true hearty and delicious breakfast experience or the totally la pancakes for a light but exctiting journey for your pallete. And if you have the room to finish with a smoothie more power to you. They are worth it! The bathroom fixtures are also really captivating. Overall a top notch breakfast joint! Vegas approved.

Food was good, service was hands down terrible. Brought my service dog in and got the most unpleasant table side service I ve ever received. I was questioned to the point where I was very uncomfortable about my disability. I just hope that they can up their standards to accommodate other service animals & disabled Americans, it really wouldn t take much.

From the waiters and the waitresses, to the chefs and the food...top notch all around.
