Full 5 give over 5 stars

Full 5 give over 5 stars
Breakfast was great The quality is very good. It is a very family-friendly hotel. Everyone can do activities together in the hotel without having to leave. The most suitable for recharging the vitality, delicious food, you don't have to go out and eat it. The spa room is also very good, has a very relaxing feeling. (Ginger water with honey can drink after the massage refreshing)

Excellent service from the front to the housewives and the kitchen, providing the most willingness to help.It was a very good first time memory and will definitely go back.

Everyone in the hotel has done a really good job.

Overall: 100% of resort atmosphere, cleanliness, friendly staff, and meals, but three stars because of Kwan Spa

-I stayed 4 nights in a duplex suite. The staff were all friendly and there were so many Europeans that the supervisors and managers, not Thais, seemed to check carefully. All the other Thai staff were friendly, the landscaping was so nice and tidy and the room was clean and well maintained. After all Marriott! I wanted to. There weren't many Chinese. The meal was delicious.
-But two unfortunately, if you had a massage time of 1 hour at Kwan Spa and Kwan Spa, make a reservation at 12 o'clock to confirm your reservation, check your condition, go to your room, change your clothes, take a shower in the middle 1 hour like a knife including everything. In fact, the massage seems to be less than 30 minutes. It wasn't very good. Even though the money was not a penny or two, the 2,000 Batras per person paid 4,000 Baht per person. And because it was quiet and close to the beach, it was not easy to go outside. The shuttle is available here, 100 Baht per person, 200 Baht for round trip. Two people have to pay 400 baht to go back and forth. Of course, Phuket's transportation costs are expensive, so it's cheaper, but it's not good to get round trips.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic and unique. If you ever want to see and experience paradise in your life, you should travel to Khao Lak and be enchanted by the JW Mariott Hotel. It has style, is extraordinarily clean, is luxurious and at the same time gives this place all the glamor and charm of beautiful Thailand.
The house is located directly on a wonderful sandy beach. The pool impresses not only with its gigantic size (it extends over the entire hotel complex), but also the direct access to the pool from your own hotel room is a real highlight.
The staff is always friendly, typical for the country (we would especially like to thank Vanessa and Lynn, who always stood by us in our mother tongue and did a really great job, so that this holiday can hardly be topped), the rooms are spotlessly clean and in everyone no matter how hidden corners of this facility, the attention to detail was not disappointed.
We traveled to Khao lak with our 4-year-old daughter and can report with a clear conscience that we have never been to a hotel that is as family-friendly as this one.
There is absolutely nothing to complain about at JW Mariott. I have read the review before that this hotel is not centrally located enough and can confirm this statement but not accept it as a criticism. Shuttle buses and taxes make it possible to get to the center of Khao lak around the clock within 5 minutes.
We travel a lot, both privately and on business. We have already been able to get to know some beautiful places and have also been allowed to stay in some 5 star hotels, but none was like the JW Mariott Hotel in Khao Lak.
We have only just returned from our 2-week stay there and are already planning the next vacation full of anticipation for this uniquely paradisiacal place in this uniquely beautiful hotel complex.

Absolutely gorgeous. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you. Check in was a breeze - we arrived at 10:30am straight from the airport and they helped us with everything and made sure we could get into our room as quickly as possible. We stayed in the spa suit - it's to die for! The room was beautiful, then to add the Whirlpool spa, sauna and outdoor shower, we were in heaven. Make the effort to eat in each of the restaurants and bars, they are beautiful!

Come to stay at JW khao lak and leave your stomach with the restaurant here.
Five meals are not disappointed. Thai food tastes good, spicy, and western food is delicious. Besides delicious food
The atmosphere is very good, the sea is beautiful, the staff here are very good service.

Our favorite Beach resort in the world. The pool around the resort is to die for. They added a beach bar that is a wonderful evening complement to the swim up bar in the pool. We've gone as a family the times (with kids ages three to 15).

By far the best Marriott Resort Hotel I know. The complex is located directly on the beach and has an adult and a family beach section. There is also a beach bar and lounge corner on the beach. The spa, the Italian restaurant, the breakfast restaurant and the lounge area of the huge hotel pool are directly adjacent. The beautiful property also has 2 other restaurants and a pool bar, which have been perfectly integrated into the ensemble. The main building houses a well-equipped fitness studio, a cafe, another bar, shops, ATMs and a children's paradise as well as Buisenes rooms. The hotel rooms are very large and have a large balcony. Based on some reviews, I was worried that the rooms were a bit shabby. But the rooms at Wing 1 seem to have been completely renovated and offer everything you need. For my birthday the housekeeping staff had come up with something special. The construction site of the extension is not very annoying.

We are 5 times at the JW Marriott Khao Lak.

We are 5 times at the JW Marriott Khao Lak.
This hotel is just wonderful and the value for money is absolutely right.

You don't have to eat in the hotel every evening. There are plenty of opportunities to eat or have a drink in small restaurants around the hotel. The infrastructure is absolutely right and this is what makes this hotel so lovable.

The small beach bars are like they used to be in Thailand before they fell victim to the government's fury. The possibility of combination is simply unbeatable here.

The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Fresh juices (prepared on request), European, Thai, Japanese, Indian and American flavors, special requests on request. The staff, like everywhere in Thailand, very courteous, friendly and very polite.

The garden is like a botanical paradise, lovingly cared for, especially the water lily pond, which shimmers in the most beautiful shades of green and gives a different picture every day.
The many small, wonderful and loving details of this hotel delight me again and again.

The beauty area is probably unique and fascinating in its beauty. Butterflies and dragonflies flutter through the air, waving. It smells of fresh mint and jasmine. Soft relaxing music in the background. An oasis of calm and harmony. Exceptionally beautiful.
I sincerely hope that this perfection does not fall victim to the compulsive renewal of the new mediocre interior designer. Some things cannot be improved.

Personally, I even prefer the older, not yet renowned rooms.
Unfortunately, the interior designer of the newly renovated rooms did not recognize the soul of this unique hotel. This has i.a. Unfortunately, the storage space was greatly reduced, the furniture changed, so that the room overall has lost. It's a shame.

I can only say about the jellyfish, where are they not? We have not been spared in 20 years in Thailand either. I can only recommend everyone to use their common sense, regardless of the color of the flag. No problem when the waves are good, and when the water is calm it is better to use the huge swimming pool that runs through the entire complex. The biggest pool I know.

The construction site to the right of the hotel doesn't bother you at all, as you absolutely don't hear anything about it. The adjoining rooms are therefore not occupied!

All in all: this hotel is a dream!

Reviewers recommend my "favorite chain" the Ritz Carlton. Not always my budget.

I really enjoyed my stay here. There were a few hiccups ~ such as power outage and the water pump went out causing murky brown water but perhaps this is to be expected when you build a luxury resort in a location the probably doesn't have the infrastructure to support it. The staff was amazing, everything else was what one would expect from a JW Marriott property. I ONLY wish the offered a similar buffet experience for lunch and diner like what is offered for breakfast. Our room was beautiful and the pool is AMAZING. I appreciate the personalized touches they added like the birthday cake complete with candle and matches waiting in our room for my husband.

Me and wife stayed over a week but I will definitely go back! The pool is amazing - like a river that meanders all around the hotel. We had room with pool access. Breakfast buffet is extensive, but best enjoyed if the price comes with the room rate! A truly beautiful resort with a great beach front location. Rooms very large and furnished in 6 star luxury. Restaurants utra modern & overlooking ocean Wonderful service & very friendly staff One of the largest pools I have ever came across

Ok so not an absolute full 5+ star resort, but close enough as to make no difference depending on the price you pay. We were on a Luxury Escapes package so it represented fantastic value. Restaurants all good and regular outdoor buffets and events ensure you don t get bored with the food. Breakfast is on a par with all but the very best. Wi fi the best I ve experienced in a resort. Superb position on a beautiful and very safe beach for kids. Huge continuous swimming pool throughout the resort with 2 swim up bars. People on b&b can eat lunch and/or dinner cheaply at any one of the 6 or 7 local beach restaurants a stones throw away. Tennis, kids club, scuba etc etc

A perfect vacation in paradise, we were there in the off-session. Nevertheless, there were no disadvantages in terms of service. The food was terrific, we booked a dinner for two and just raved about the great food.
Is located a bit outside, but you have your peace on the private beach and can take the shuttle to the places in the area.
The room was super comfortable and all requests were catered for.
Anytime again this hotel, we loved it.

Booked a 8 days package deal. Everything is 10/10 after 4 days. I would highly recommend this resort due to the following. Induction when you first check in is first class. Pool access room is a must upgrade. Staffs there are so friendly. We are from Melbourne and used to friendly people. Thai people kicked our backside. Restaurants there have very nice Thai food, Mediterranean food, Japanese and international food. Breakfast is world class. Better than all you Hilton, Grand Hyatt....you got to try to understand. Sounds like they paid me to say that ya? May be they should.

Having had the good fortune to travel worldwide and having stayed in many five star hotels in every continent it is enormously refreshing in these difficult times to find a hotel where EVERY member of staff, from gardener to Executive Chef, from housemaid to Front Desk Manager, from pool attendant to Loyalty Manager, display an outstanding level of customer service and ability to chat amiably with all guests. Couple this with outstanding culinary excellence, excellent wine choices and original signature drinks and.you enjoy an experience totally beyond any other five star establishment in Thailand and beyond.
The BEST hotel for me in the world! And, I have stayed in the best that Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo can offer and they don t even come close!
Well done JW Marriott Khao Lak! We will be back as soon as we can! You have spoiled us for every other five star hotel!

Large resort with huge pool and lovely beach. Large enough that you do not feel disturbed by other guests, especially if you have room with pool access. Many trees and hedges make it more intimate so it doesn't seem like the huge resort it is. Great staff. Delicious food and large buffets but a little expensive at the on-site restaurants. However, you can get cheap Thai food right next to the beach.

I have been here on many occasions and I have never been disappointed. The GM, Ty, even set up a Super Bowl Party for the guests to enjoy. There were about 40 people up at 6 am to watch the game. They had a magnificent cold and hot buffet with omelet station, pizzas and more! The JW really knows how to take care of their guests.

Disappointingly we did not get a luxury holiday at all. Instead we got served contaminated food and water. My daughter got sick on the fourth day of our holiday at the resort with a fever, diarrhoea, Pain and lethargy. We spent most of the time in the room trying to look after her the best we could. We all suffered diarrhoea during our stay for several days. We were assured by staff at the restaurants that the water they were serving was bottled water...I doubt now that this was the case...When we arrived to Australia We had to get our daughter admitted to the hospital and now she is being treated for salmonella as an inpatient

Very nice hotel in Khao Lak. We would come back here. Nevertheless, you should be aware that there is little going on in the surrounding area, so for example you have to accept the European prices for dinner or you have to drive to the center for about 10 minutes (hotel shuttle every 2 hours for 200THB / person)

Very luxurious hotel in a great location right on the beach. The huge one
Lagoon Pool is unique, especially in rooms with direct access
Pool access. Very nice hotel facilities (building, gym, beach,
Pool, lobby, ...) and pleasant quiet rooms. Both the hotel restaurants
as well as the restaurants in the immediate area provide good food
in a pleasant environment. Service with small restrictions very
attentive and friendly. A small drawback is the wide approach from the
Airport (90 minutes).
The only negative was the slightly damp hotel room, which meant damp beds
has taken care of.
All in all, a very relaxing 3-day short break in luxurious
Environment by the sea.

Going to the rainy season. kindness. There are many facilities that are old, but there are many places that are under construction or are newly added.

The swimming pool is the longest course in the world, but it takes about an hour to slowly turn around with a boat tube.
Kids are really excited

The kids' kids club is made up of TV and games, so the kids keep going there and out of control. I think it would be nice to let the kids play, but all the other kids just sit blankly in front of the tv

The other recreation room is well organized, but the equipment is worn out.
Two billiard tables were tattered with fabric holes.

It was on the second floor, but it was humid in other places, but not here.
Full access rooms are humid, but I can't experience them.
A single bed was added underneath, especially for kids.

Disadvantages Wifi is very slow. There are many places that cannot be done
When it rains, it rains and you have to go to eat.
I am lonely and have nowhere to go
If you ask at the unloading place, the store will drop you off at the front door.
Few. New service is also there
If you want to dehydrate your swimsuit in the rainy season and put it on again in the morning, you need a dehydrator, but there is only a laundry service.
