When my the motherboard on my server crashed, the built me a new server, moved the data from the old hard drive, and and had me back working by the end of the day! All for a price about half of what I expected to pay. MY new best friends!!

Couldn't recommend these guys more. They spent way more time answering questions and providing feedback than they get paid to do and sold me some extremely solid equipment that saved me close to 300 dollars. Thanks specifically to Will and Jacob for putting up with me and providing honest answers and insightful feedback

I've been going to Silicon Solutions for almost 10 years now. I don't need to get help very often with computer problems but when I do, the FIRST place I call is ALWAYS Silicon Solutions. They have the best customer service and great prices to go along with it. I can always count on them to do the job and to do it right. Also, they are extremely fast to get your computer back to you. I highly recommend this place to anyone with a computer problem or if you want a custom built computer, because they do that too. 100% satisfied!!!

Let me just say this, I'm extremely sensitive to other people handing my computer. The people at Silicon Solutions are the only people I trust with it. I'm a pretty tech savvy guy myself. I wouldn't take my computer in at the first sight of a problem because I can usually fix it myself. Nevertheless, When all hope is lost I know I can go here; where not only are the prices really good but they're extremely honest and knowledgable. They know me by name and I've never had a problem they couldn't fix. Point and case, if you ever have any computer issues and don't know how to fix it, take it in to these guys. I guaretee you won't be disappointed with not only the service, but the staff as well.

Great service. Great price. The solid state drive went out on my Dell XPS 13. I did not know what happened, I was getting the blue screen of death. SS diagnosed the problem and installed a new SSD. My laptop came back working better and faster than before. Jason was great. I highly recommend Silicone Solutions for all your computer needs.

Awesome service. My computer wasn't booting up so I brought it over to Silicon Solutions and they started troubleshooting it the second I walked in the door. Turned out to be some silly minor problem which was fixed by just unplugging and plugging back in some wires on the motherboard. Instead of price gouging me $30 like some other places would, they didn't even charge me. They know how to make a happy customer and I will definitely be coming back for any future PC problems. They even sell used PCs and other PC parts so I will be checking here first next time I need anything. Highly recommend these guys.

I've had two experiences with Silicon Solutions now, and both were extremely satisfactory. Bill, the owner, is very helpful and worked with me both times to fit my needs. The second time there was an issue with the pricing of the work done, and Bill actually gave me a discount for the inconvenience; it's rare to find customer service like this anymore. Long story short, if you need repair work done you will get a very reasonable quote and the repair will get done on time and correctly.

This is a great place to get computer repairs and to purchase computers and computer related items. I have relied on them for over 20 years now. There prices are reasonable. Customer service superb.

Computer came back in worse shape. Could not even access Fox News w/o being bombarded w/pop-up ads. Cursor on e-mail and typing moving all over the place. Took it back and was charged $40 to fix. Still not fixed. Never will use this business again.

A++!!! I cannot say enough good things about Silicon Solution. Every single person I met was friendly and knowledgeable. I am a small business owner and run two businesses off of the same computer. One night it shut down on its own and would not restart. As you can imagine, I panicked that my files might be lost. My entire life is on that computer! Silicon Solution reassured me that everything was safe and they took care of all of my computer problems. They got my old computer up and running and they refurbished a second computer for me with more memory and transferred all of my data. They were fast, friendly, professional and their price was extremely reasonable. If you're trying to figure out where to go for your computer needs, look no further. This place was awesome! :)

Was needing an Ethernet cable. Every other store nearby was sold out, but this place had one. Cheaper and better service than big stores.

Always has the parts and expertise needed to correct any hardware or software faults.

Prices are what they are, but you won't find a better businessman in South Carolina. They are some of the friendlier variety and they get to know their regulars very well. Business the way it shoukd be done. Keep up the great, honest work.

Honestly if I could give more stars I would! I went to another computer parts sales place in Irmo (no names required) and was ripped off so bad and had a horrible experience there, after searching the web I found Silicone Solutions. The warm welcome and personable attitudes of all the employees there awe struck me!
They listened to my plight, were very empathetic and helped me in every way possible so I could build my new gaming rig! I didn t spend a fortune and they have or can get every thing I need for building a computer from the ground up! Including a few accessories I don t need but I want to bling this baby up!

These guys have honestly gained a customer for life from me and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone for any computer needs!

I would have given no stars if allowed. I purchased a motherboard, brought it home opened the box and saw that the packaging in fact was not that of a brand new motherboard, we plugged it up and it doesn't work.
When I took back it get a replacement or a refund the guy in charge was aggressive,
Making excuses that we had to have done something to the part. Well, after a bit of talking he called
another man over and told him to hook it up to see if we were telling the truth. Low and behold, it didn't work. So he reluctantly replaced with a cheaper motherboard and gave us 13$ back. Not even two months later this motherboard stopped working as well.
In my experience I will not do business with this place again.

This is the best computer repair place I've been to in this area. Great guys. Very knowledgeable, helpful, polite, and professional. They fixed our problem and had us up and running by the next day. Very trustworthy and their pricing is affordable. They also sell a bunch of stuff so if you're looking for something give them a call. They can order things too. The parking lot is very tiny so be careful getting in and out. I highly recommend them.

Expert service right down to the very little details. I was in a jam when my work computer hard drive failed. I wish I had called them from the beginning. They sold me a replacement drive for less than what best buy was advertising, AND I get to deal locally. I was actually on my way to BB and was surprised that Silicon was open until 6pm. This is the only local hardware/service store I patronize. The owner (Bill) is very knowledgeable and willing to help in any way he can. Competitive pricing for new and refurbished hardware. They have distributors for days: if you are looking for a specific piece they can find it. Having a local business that stands by their products and allows me to pickup what I need quick fast and in a hurry is priceless. No shipping woes for returns/exchanges/defects. I trust this business. I've been a customer for seven years. Solid.

I had a problem with my laptop which I use everyday for work. Spoke with Bill on the phone who was friendly and accommodating. My motherboard and video card decided to commit seppuku one night while I was playing a game. With no means of testing this out myself, I just knew that some local shop was going to ream me. How happy I was to be wrong! This place is great, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are fair. I will definitely return for any further stuff that's outside my ability to repair.

They recovered files from a failed hard drive for me and installed a new solid state HD, all for a very reasonable price. These guys are great! Give them a call.

Excellent, Affordable, Quick Service. Took my laptop here after I electrocuted my laptop (I shocked it when I grabbed the laptop, and the keyboard stopped working). Silicon Solutions quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue the same day. Price was extremely reasonable. I will definitely be back for any future computer issues!

Jacob was extremely helpful fixing my MacBook after it seemed to have died on me at the worst time. I recently brought a partially assembled custom build of mine to Silicon Solutions. They had all the parts I needed to complete the computer and they assembled it for me. This is a computer builders dream! The service is awesome, and they are well stocked! It's probably the best kept IT secret in Columbia.

Prices are a little high, but the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I got my laptop's screen fixed here and i have to say I loved the work they did. It was fast, it was inexpensive and best of all they understood that I needed it for school.

Great service, i went there today with my wife, her computer broke down with very important school work still on the hard drive, Jason and everyone else at the shop really took the time to help us with the problem.
They got the important files out of my wife's computer and stayed after the stored close to finish the job.

My MacBook Air has been running really slow over the past month with opening a few applications. My first instinct was to go to Best Buy but I wouldn t dare pay the $150 they advertised. So I did my research and was super glad I did! Jacob, the MacBook specialist, gave me an estimate when I first walked in and when I picked it up it was even cheaper than I expected. It didn t take him long to clean it up and return it. You can t go wrong with this place or the people who work here. The smooth and seamless process of getting your technology fixed is incomparable.

Jason really helped me out this morning! My laptop wouldn't stay on and I took it them for help. I left my laptop with them, went back to my car... I hadn't been in my car 5 minutes when he comes to get me and says he's got it on. He logged into the wifi, let me transfer a few important documents as backup, put my computer back together and sent me on my way! I'm super thankful for his help and quick response!
