What a venue. What a band. Great venue for metal as the PA system is brilliant, a real warmth to the rock sound. It does help that Stone Broken are brilliant along with The Bad Flowers and Jared James Nichols

Weather was terrible, but rather than let people in even 15min early, staff milled about in the foyer doing nothing. Use you brains, please. I drank less because I was cold, wet and miserable. No reason not to let people in.

Went for a gig but it got uncomfortably hot and we had to leave. They seem to have air con probably for licensing reasons but on that night they did not turn it on. People started leaving early on because the temperature got too uncomfortable. They do gigs everyday, surely they should have figured it out by now. Slightly irresponsible.

Great little venue, upstairs seating was closed when I went but seats had been set up in short rows along the side walls, which left a smaller floor space for those of us standing, which didn't bother anyone and probably is really useful for wheelchair access
Staff were polite, friendly and helpful

Went to see Dir En Grey here in February's. It's a good venue! It's on the small side so the gig was quite intimate, which I personally prefer. The sound was good, they didn't over pack it. Drinks are expensive, but if you're seeing a concert in London are you surprised?

Beautiful setting as everything is the original decor and wood panel walls. The venue is very versatile from weddings to live bands and all are good. Hall is still small enough to make you feel that you are close to the band and bars alongside so easy to geta drink. Service is fast and friendly. Highly recommend

Love this beautiful old place! Sound quality was a bit off (coco and the butterfields gig) but not enough to detract from a great show so still get 5 stars!
Compliments to the friendly security staff as we were queuing, polite and efficient about bag checking and not allowing drinks in.

Lovely small venue for concerts. Close to rail links and Upper Street is full of restaurants so no problems in finding something to eat close by. We saw The Slow Readers Club who gave an excellent performance.
