Isle Casino Hotel Review

We aways have a good dinner at the buffet. Food is great, and they have a great dessert selection.

We always enjoy ourselves here but really wish the average winning rate was at it's all time high right now! Lol...Dont see many people hit it for much these days.

The casino is very nice looking and the staff is friendly. The night I stayed there I got sick due to numerous bedbug bites. The rooms clean and looked nice but after the bedbug problem I had to leave that place.

We only go to the buffet located inside the casino. We've been there twice for Thanksgiving. Each experience has been pleasant and food better than I expected. Hotel is really fancy and next to the Waterloo water park that is in walking distance.

Casino is decent the hot tub however is very dissapointing. The jets don't work and the water is luke warm y'all can do better!

The comps are horrible and the food is horrible. Its a cold day in hell to get a hand payout there.

O & H upstairs is the Bomb. Brews Bro is a damn good second!

Smaller casino but nice - had baccarat tables and a decent selection of slots!

Pool is not working, hot tub is not working. Tv s in the room are really tiny. Weight room was lacking and machines were out of order.

Meals are expensive for food that was lacking in presentation and flavor was just meh .

Stay at another hotel in the area for half the price and then come here to gamble if that s what you want to do.

I love the casino floor staff at the Isle, they are personable, remember your name and are always inviting. On the other hand casino pay outs at the Isle in Waterloo are the worst of any other casino I visit.

Checked in on Christmas Eve. Found out that the reservation line did not book room properly. Luckily there was a room available that I wanted. Went to room. Room was not too bad TV was way to small for room tv in bathroom was a correct fit and was brighter. Phone did not work, faucet in shower broke. After letting valet park vehicle, thinking I was in for night thats when I found out that 4 restaurants in building only 1 was open. Brew Brothers reviews are horrible and after eating breakfast there on Christmas morning they lived up to all bad reviews. Slow service burnt food. After spending that amount of money on a room there should be more offered to customers. We had to drive after waiting 15 min. for valer to retrieve truck we had to leave the so called RESORT just to find a restaurant nearby to go eat at. RESORT means a different thing to the ISLE than it does to me. A resort should have restaurants open all the time not just a couple of days a week. Buffet is priced out of sight for normal people would want to pay lower price make more available if your going to take every penny in the casino and hotel. Look I could have got a room at Comfort inn and had more choices of food closer and a continental Breakfast for a third of what I paid at the ISLE will never set foot in this so called RESORT again. I'll drive to Tama before that.

I love The Isle. They do a great job taking care of people who spend their money. Always looking to make sure you take full advantage of any upgrades you qualify for. If you end up getting a host make sure you get Jeff L. He is awesome and will take care of whatever you want. Just a text message away! Their pool setup is nice as well!

The staff was nice and the jacuzzi was great but that's where the wow factor end. If you want a typical hotel room with features I wouldn't stay here. The wifi is extremely limited (no open ports), the phone in the room doesn't connect to the lobby if you need anything, microwaves are only on 2 floors by the elevators.if your staying here for the casino it'll be perfect but if you want a nice hotel stay while doing work it's not ideal.

We just gambled. The security personall seemed very nice.

It is a decent casino. It does what it is supposed to do.

C- service dog experience. Issues - Staff trying to get my service dog's (SD) attention by talking to him, staff drive-by petting my SD and staff asking to pet my SD. When I inquired I was told by staff in two different departments they have zero training on how to act around a service dog or interact with a person with a service dog. I foresee this will change after I send a letter to the corporate office.

Rooms are clean and roomy! Reasonably priced too!

Really nice room. Shower has lots of places to set your shower stuff, lots of counter room in bathroom lots of plug in room by the bed. Easy adjustible room temp. Hidden fridge with complimentory bottles of water. Really clean.

Have pictures of the mold or scum in shower. The only place that gives less the longer you come. Been coming about 10 years now and it has most definitely gone down hill over the last couple of years.

1st night at casino the bar service was horrific .asked 1 pit boss for drinks for the table and he told us no he couldnt do that because he knew the servers were terrible. another pit boss later apologized when I told him whT was going on and di give the table 1 free drink . 2nd night there the blackjack dealer messed up twice 1st time wasnt that big if a deal 2nd time cost the whole table about $300 in winnings . wont go back to this casino ever

Can't ever win at the Isle casino in Waterloo Iowa

Was pretty alright, but the Blackjack tables were busy and the video poker jacks or better paytables suck. Buffet is awesome.

Employee at front desk was wonderful and we were given a room on the top floor, end of the hall as I requested. At 1st glance the room looked ok but after closer inspection it was pretty gross in areas. 2 dead flies, SUPER thick dust on surfaces, lots of scuffs/grime on the walls, and the shower grout was disgusting (see pictures) the bed looked clean and was comfortable although instead of a fitted sheet it was a flat sheet tucked under. Shower pressure was awfully weak. We didn't use the pool and we lost $50 pretty fast in the casino machines which was a huge disappointment. Not the worst hotel, but def needs some work.

Decent casino but the room was awful mini fridge didn't work and took calling 6 times and 5 hours to get one that worked and could only watch cable because the renting a movie through the TV wouldn't work

Cannot breathe from all the smoke in the place!! And, I am an ex smoker! They should vent better! Probably never go back!

Buffet is good, pool is nice, not smoke free though.

This place has a license to Rob poor black people the worst place in the world to ever go for entertainment you'll lose everything you ever came in the world with going there I hate it they save the jackpots for the favorite friends and the white people it should be a law against the way I've been treated and other black people have been treated this is the worst place to ever visit they save all the bonuses, free spins jackpots, gifts for their favorite players and white friends or white people. And the rest of them go along with it as if this is the way to treat a person they're all Wicked people

What a world of a difference. You get what you pay for in this city. Despite the loud drunks and the people who have lost everything they have at the casino below, twas a good night

I have a gift certificate to the casino and I couldn't use it on my room (restaurant only). Every time we went to our room the key wouldn't work. Horrible experience. Never again.

Decent food at the buffet, good drinks and friendly service.

Great place to stay if you want to get away and have everything you need in one location. Great food selection at the different restaurants and bars, Casino for entertainment. If you just want to stay in the room and have a romantic evening the room is nice and comfortable and clean. We loved the comfort of the beds, great nights sleep. The rates are surprisingly reasonable.
Would recommend for families with children during the summer months because a water park is located adjacent to the Hotel.

This place is getting to be terrible, not friendly staff, payouts are little to none, air quality leaves a lot to be desired (non smoking shouldn't be too the back where you walk through all the smoking areas first), waitresses for drinks are maybe around or if they are they forget to bring your drink. Not enjoyable anymore
