Isle Casino Hotel Review

This is a terrible casino. Payouts are terrible. Staff arrogant. Cashiers rude. Management not professional. I will never enter this casino again!!!

Semi truck parking easy to access that's a plus since I drive trucks lol. But the buffet there is absolutely no good I didn't enjoy it so all. But I did have fun on the slot machines so that made me feel better

Pretty stale customer service. Buffet is... bland. Casino is pretty dead now too...

Customer Service was good for me. My wife however was not informed of the promotions such as free play and current promotions. The guy she had seemed like he didn't care.

My husband and I enjoy visiting the Isle for a number of reasons: good food with several choices to get it; a night out with friends or just the two of us; staying overnight, just to get away from home for a change of pace. The rooms are comfortable and quite nice. The employees are airways super friendly and helpful at whatever we ask of them. All in all, it's great to have a versatile place to spend our recreational time that's so close to home.

It was good. Good food at the brothers brew. Good service . They are allowing smoking which was nice not to have to leave. Must wear a mask and social distance is happening so some machines are down.

It has a very nice atmosphere you really love the room most of all the pool and jacuzzi area. My kids and grand babies have a great time at the isle. We use it for birthday parties and sometimes just to get away!

I just wish I'd win once in a while, don't need all that much, to help other people too...

Worst customer service ever! Was told we would get the promo rate but was charged more then double what we were quoted.

It's a great hotel! We got a great deal on a room!

Room was very nice, could have had a few more people on staff. There were a lot of unattended kids in the swimming pool area.

Pretty average casino for Iowa. However it has gone down hill since opening. Hotel used to be nice, but the last few times I stayed there people were very load late at night and security was slow to respond. The Buffett has gotten more expensive while the overall quality as greatly declined. It used to be that you'd lose your money on the gamble but felt a little better about getting an awesome buffet, but now they get you at both ends.

Google directed us on the 45 min drive from CR...easy to get to. Pouring rain and parking spots were far from building. I was up about 100$ and my husband was up 400$...on slots! We lost it all within just an hour. Not once were we offered a drink and the employee who came to help with our "stuck" slot machine knew nothing. We were very disappointed in our short trip. We've had great trips to Tama and so-so at Riverside, but I wouldn't waste too much time at the Isle. Same ol buffet, clean bathrooms...but I suppose I'll dislike any casino if I leave with less than I came with! Casino in Cedar Rapids would be such a relief.

I would literally get more pleasure lighting my cash on fire. Otherwise it seems like a well kept facility. A bit on the smokey side though. Their non smoking area is just a small place where smoking is not allowed but because it sits right amidst the smoking section you still inhale smoke against your will. Plus you must make your way threw a fog of cigarette smoke in order to arrive at the "less than smoking area".

Horrible customer service at cashier window. Actually, didn't make it to the window the last 3 trips... I stood in line while several (at least 5) casino employees helped 2 people while the line continued to grow. No acknowledgement or "sorry we'll be right with you". No sense of urgency whatsoever

Had a blast at casino lost all my money but did have a great time

Someone stole my son's phone and all security and customer service had to say was oh. And walked away.

It is easy to find. I have not stayed in a hotel room.

Affordable rooms, you can get suites with jacuzzi tubs. They're doing a great job with COVID procedures and we felt very comfortable during our stay

It is the best place ever they have good food and the water park is right next down the treet family fun !!!

Clean atmosphere, great workers but lost money...the reason for my not so good visit. Everything was great just wish the outcome was better. Will defineflu be returning to win back my money.

I give this place a zero the only thing open is a casino no buffet no restaurant very poor service will not be back again.

Good medium size casino alot of playing options with good bar and staff.

I booked through expedia and was charged twice for the room. I brought this up to the front desk and they said they would refund me. Problem is they have no issue debiting the money out of your credit card right away but take up to 10 days for a refund while credit card is accumulating interest. I will stat elsewhere next time

Put the non - smoking area at the rear of the casino so one must walk thru all the smoke. Nice design.

Only visited the casino. Small, compared to other area casinos. Good variety of machines and table games. Convenient drink stations and restrooms. Will definitely visit again!

Not many machines, small place, didn't win anything, machines just took money

I have stayed at The Isle Waterloo many times. I recently took my daughter for her first casino experience. Everything was as great as I have come to expect. However, my daughter took a shower before bed and found a used condom on the shelf in the shower, The manager's response was "Oh." Not impressed at all.

Would have gotten a 5 star rating if I didn't walk out so broke . LOL

My wife and I did not spend to much time in the casino part (10-15 minutes). But our room was nice, clean and comfortable for the most part.

The lawn was well maintained I'd checker was very courtiouse and the slots paid out well

Very nice ambiance, smoking is allowed which doesn't add to the smell factor.

Untrustworthy eyes, 2 military like, they follow you around like an investigating officer follows around a suspect

We had the buffet, and our food was amazing! Our server was friendly and the restaurant looked very clean.

Thousands of hours in dozens of casinos. My favorite. Dealers who deal and have just enough personality.

Buffet is great and so is the Lone Wolf bar/restaurant (Really good food:) ). Servers were nice and friendly. As with the rest of the hotel, i wish the staff could improve on their attitude. I went to go get my room key so i could get bracelets for me and my friends to swim. When i went to the front desk to get the bracelets, the people seemed a bit annoyed. Need to improve on customer service.
