I showed up 15 minutes prior to my reservation time and was told that they were busy, but would have me seated by 8:00 which was my reservation time anyway. I was perfectly fine with that checked in at 8;00 and was told it would be another five minutes, once again, no problem. I explained that I made a reservation because I was on a time schedule and was assured it wouldn't be a problem. At 8:15, still nothing when I checked in again, I was told that there were still several other people ahead of me. We were finally seated at 8:30, 30 minutes late. I was a little frustrated, but if we ate quickly, we could still make our other engagement. I figured if the food was good, it would be worth the wait, I was disappointed again. Their punctuality was bad, the food was terrible and the band was playing music you would expect to hear while on hold. I've had better dining experiences at Bojangles. I'll never be back.

An open sitting concept that may be noisy at times. Food portion is very small. I ordered nc red snapper with beets. My fish seem to have been split in half (less than 4oz). Waiter was not even engaging to help matters.

Irregardless Cafe is a family favorite! My family has been coming here for about 40 years and it keeps getting better! I got the spinach mushroom and goat cheese omlet with beyond meat sausage and it was amazing!!

This place was really good. Easy to pick out gluten free and vegan options since their menu was clearly marked. Food was good, drinks were good. I would eat here again.

Great atmosphere and good live music that is not too loud. Great food too! But make sure to get a reservation.

Amazing and inventive food for both the carnivore and vegan. The waitstaff was fantastic too.

I love the simplicity of this place. This place mainly serves all different kinds of burgers and lobster rolls. I would come back with a group of friends.

Everything was delicious, but the fried avocados was def an appetizer gold star dish. The mussels, paella, quiche and penne were delicious. Great place for both carnivores and herbivores. A lot of delicious vegetarian options. The live music is great. Douglas has such a beautiful voice. His music is so great for family occasions and weddings.

I visited this place for my mothers birthday with some friends and family . The service was amazing and the music made it a magical experience. The food was unique and very rich with flavor. I loved that this restaurant was perfect for anyone, vegans, vegetarians, and meatatarians. Especially coming from a partially vegan family it all worked out. I ordered a basil pesto pasta dish with tofu. I will admit I am not a big tofu fan but the tofu was very flavorful, nice and firm. The setting of the restaurant was very welcoming with the soft lights and comfy booths. The dinner worked out perfectly and at the end my friend got to sing happy birthday on stage . All in all Irregardless made this birthday 10x times better than it could ever be I look forward to returning to this restaurant.

I have only been to Irregardless twice. Once for dinner and once for brunch. Both times were great experiences and the food is delicious and fresh.

The service was great. My Bf and I ordered from the vegetarian menu. Food was meh. Kind of mediocre.

World class service!!! I hired Irregardless for catering and coordinating my daughter's wedding reception. They went above and beyond on everything. Their food is great, service is great, staff is great. We have about 250 guests, everybody felt like home. Each one of staff members are so courteous, helpful and welcoming. Sandra DeMaria is the lead from Irregardless who met us few times, guides us all along and did a fabulous job. She is just a super star. Wedding reception was majestic and went so well because of Irregardless. Thank you.

Excellent vibe, staple Raleigh brunch join with reasonable prices. Very nice assortment of complimentary breakfast bread--scones, muffins, banana bread, as well as fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee, milk or tea are all included as part of your entree. Excellent food, live music, all the time. Ambiance is excellent, spacious but lively. Best brunch I've had in a long time.

What brought us here? Glad you asked. The night before, my family and I were discussing words used that are incorrect - Irregardless, the non-standard, redundant word, is the one we laughed about the most. The next morning, we were looking for a place to eat that did not serve biscuits and gravy or fried chicken (although we love both:), and when Irregardless Cafe came up in the search, we knew we just had to go. I didn t read much about the place before I went; just a quick scan of the menu.

Whenever I get to a brunch place I'm usually pretty darn hungry, especially after waiting for a table. There actually was not a wait when we went, but as soon as we sat, we were served muffins, breads, and a glass of OJ to start for free. That won me over already. But the live acoustic music was also a big plus and my huevos rancheros were amazing too.

The last time I went to this restaurant was during Triangle Restaurant Week, and we chose this because of their vegan options. I got a dish with tofu, and when it came out it was just a literal block of tofu that looked like it had just come out of the package and was not cooked at all. I would think that a restaurant that has been in business for a while would know the correct way to cook tofu. I do not see how ANYONE would have enjoyed that dish. Perhaps their meat-filled dishes are good, but if you are vegan, I do not recommend getting a dish from here with tofu.

Good vegan and vegetarian choices but not so much for meat eaters. I got the beef kabob which was tasty, it came with a lot of lentils which were also delicious.

Love all the vegan and omnivore options for everyone! The live music was fantastic and not overpowering. A perfect acoustic balance.

Great food! Tables are very close together, so expect a cafeteria atmosphere.

I had not eaten there in years but did so recently. It is incredible how this place has only gotten better with age. I thought they were awesome back in the late 70's, but that is nothing when comparing them with today. They are a wonderful place for a great meal!

Great atmosphere, great service. But the celebrated live musician was a major disappointment. The guy couldn t hold a tune.

A touch pricey but some of the best vegan/vegetarian fare

Stopped here for supper thinking it was just a small little cafe. We walked in and it turns out to be like a really fancy five-star restaurant. We decided we'd stay and try it anyway. I got the Crab Stuffed Shrimp and it was delicious! My boyfriend got the Chicken Kabobs with Hummus on the side and it was also amazing! We definitely want to come back during breakfast hours to try more. They also had live music while we were here. Excellent place in my opinion!

GREAT LIVE MUSIC! Last Sat. night we enjoyed a wonderful dinner -- everything perfectly prepared for everyone at our table, from beef to vegan -- accompanied by a fabulous jazz quintet. And then, to top off this already great ambience, it got even livelier for their second set when there was dancing! What a gem to have this level of music and dining in Raleigh!

A true gem nestled within downtown Raleigh. A great selection of omnivore, vegetarian, and vegan food. Something for everyone. The night we went, there was a live Jazz quintet playing. A great experience overall.

The food here is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is always happy. I've never had bad service here. The owner, who I believe his name is Arthur was visiting guest at every table and chatting with them. I had the Morgan Street Chicken which was incredible! Tonight they had an awesome bluegrass band The Longleaf Pine Nuts, they entertained the crowd for hours.

We have lived in Raleigh since 1986, and I am embarrassed to say we just went to Irregardless today for the first time. My wife is vegan, I took her for her birthday. Loved everything about it. Food and service were great, 2 guys playing violin, good beer. My wife loved her vegan dinner and dessert.

Live music was nice. Server was helpful discussing menu options. Chile Relleno was delicious and flavorful. My friend had the stir fry bowl and it was rather bland. Overall it was a good experience.

I ve been to Raleigh before for work trips, but never here. I arrived with friends I made at a nearby hotel and we had the best time! The food was simply amazing. To say the live music was entertaining is an understatement. Wyldwood, performing as Forces of Harmony, were so great! Everyone else who went on the stage to perform just added to the delightful evening. What a great night full of great music, great food, and great new friends.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Raleigh. The live music is great, I haven't found a better place to listen to live jazz.

I love brunch on Sundays at this place! Great, fresh simple homestyle food with live entertainment to put anyone in a good mood. They serve local coffee and a plate of in-house baked breads that's always hot and fresh. The service is excellent here, always smooth, friendly and consistent. I'd come here just for that.

I am vegetarian, and liked the brunch here, however, dinner wasn't good at all ...very limited veggie options, bland taste, the server didn't offer any special either. Quantity was good. Music is fine; probably not worth the extra cover charge for jazz night

All was good, except strawberry dessert, tiramisu was much better.

Uncomfortably weird atmosphere and greatly overpriced. Decorations look like they were chosen by a mother in her 50s who can't accept her age and tried too hard to become an artist. The live harp player was talented but he was amplified too loud. Service was mediocre. Price was very high for what could be no better than cheap frozen food.

I went with my family to celebrate my daughter s birthday, it was worth the hour and 30 min drive. I will definitely go back. The food was excellent!

Great service and superior food. 40 plus years under the same management. Starting from front door, the bar and the kitchen show they care and know what they are doing at every turn.
Enjoyed the cook taste event with a tour of the kitchen. Arthur the head chef and proprietor taught us all about the honor he has for serving.

My absolute favorite restaurant. Incredible vegan options that never let me down. The perfect place to bring nearly anyone with their menu variety and enjoyable atmosphere.

Super fun menu and excellent service! Truly enjoyed the shrimp and grits and the weekly special. The creme brulee was good but it needed more vanilla bean. Over all it was a great place for a date lunch!

A popular (but generally not wait) place to bring out of town guests if you don't know what they like. Great service. A good variety of food, but not particularly inventive.

Service left quite a bit to be desired. Management made sure I will not be returning to this establishment. We waited 10 minutes to be greeted by our server after waiting for 20 minutes after our reservation time at 8 p.m. We were then informed that they were out of several dishes, most of which were the ones we had come there for. We requested bread as soon as the first loaf of bread was brought to the table and we waited for roughly 30 minutes before we were told they were out of bread completely. Once we finally placed our order our food came out cold from the kitchen and our appetizers still had not arrived. our server informed us that she had forgotten to put the appetizer in and it was taken off the check. We asked to speak to her manager regarding the temperature of our food and it took him three requests before he came to see us. We then spoke to the host to ask for the manager and he still didn't come over. Finally after every dish on the table was now completely freezing, are appetizer arrived and he came over and explains that everything on our check has been taken off except the alcohol. When we tried to explain the issues we had had, he told us it had been a busy day and it didn't matter. He then tried to blame our dining experience on our waitress being exhausted and when I try to explain to him that the food temperature has nothing to do with the server he laid down the check and walked away. This gentleman's name was Dodge and he is absolutely the reason I will not be returning to this establishment. I understand that Christmas Eve is a very busy shift for them but the service that we received in regards to our concerns from management is enough for me to see that this establishment is not a place that I would like to spend my money.

I go here for lunch often and I like most of the items on the menu, coming from a foodie that says alot. Most items are pretty good like the black bean burger and the beaf hash with eggs omg really good.

Tables were extremely close together service was slow and food seemed to be microwaved. Live performance was good though which is why it's not a 1 star.

I enjoy this place every Sunday for brunch because every bit seems as though it has been farmed grown. You feel amazing after eating here, the serving sizes are amazing for the price. They are kid friendly, which to me is always important. They do catering as well which is great seeing as though I have a wedding coming up. The customer serves is alway amazing even when they are busy. You won't have to say more water or coffee please at this location because it almost seems that they just know.

First time here and we had a very pleasant experience. Our server was super friendly and kept checking on us. Our food came out fast even though the place was hoping. There was live music. Our meal was delicious and hot, every one enjoyed their food. Prices are good. Quality of the food was exceptional, fresh and good portions.

Still one of the best restaurants for brunch in Raleigh. The shrimp and grits were cheesy and wonderful.

Please stay away from the TOFU REUBEN. Its overpriced and its the worst thing I've eaten

It was OK - but not a place we would look forward to going back to. The service was great, but the food was bland and ordinary. Of the four diners in our party, no one said they enjoyed their meal. The cherry tomatoes in my salad were all wrinkled with age and tasted past their expiration date. Even the breads were tasteless.
The space was pleasant enough and the live music was good. Just wish the food was as good. Sorry.

This place had a incredible burger that I got during the all the chaos of not being able to go out and eat and it still lived up to this places standards. The other dishes that I got were very delicious and I will definitely be going back to dine in once that is available!

Live music, varied choices for vegetarians, included coffee, juice, and pastries, this place has it all. The coffee was a bit bland for my pallete, but it still is an excellent place for brunch.

Always great food at a good value. My wife and I had Easter brunch. Both entrees were very good, and there was enough to take home for later.

Irregardless cafe is awesome. The food is top notch. I love that it is farm to fork, and that they have started their own community garden, that they offer vegetarian options, vegan options, you name it, and the wine is delicious. The owners are always there with a smile, too. Can't beat it.

Sat outside under some lovely jasmine. Enjoyed a pot of tea, some appetizers, and dessert. The cheesecake was absolutely fabulous.

One of the best places in Raleigh for Gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan food! Staff was extremely friendly and we were even treated to some live music! The live jazz added great ambiance to our dinner. We will be going back!

Pretty awesome breakfast/lunch place of you've got a couple extra bucks. Service was very good and the staff were exceedingly friendly. Recommend the crab cake eggs Benedict.

Oh yeah, almost forgot about how they always have live music. Super chill.
