Local favorite with great drinks, great food, & good atmosphere. Can get busy & loud on weekends, but there's lot of space & the outdoor patio is lovely. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

I dine in this lovely spot a lot! This is my favorite spot to pass a nice evening. I go to this spot regularly. The meals are very good, the crew is polite and the price is affordable. I like going in this place to have a rich meal.

Not a bad Irish pub. Their fried fish have a heavier batter than I prefer, so there are other pubs that I like better but they are farther away. So this one does the trick when I want to stay local.

Great server. Kitchen sort of messed up my order (asked for no carrots with my side but got carrots) but salad and burger were delicious. Everyone at my table thoroughly enjoyed dinner and the outside seating was perfect for an early summer night. Thanks guys!

Great place to host a party! We recently held a birthday party in the back cottage, and Stephanie was wonderful to work with in planning the event. All of our guests had a nice time, the food was really good, and the birthday girl was very happy. Thanks, Irish Times!

We keep coming back here for the stew, but really everything is great. Staff is friendly, everything we had tried is delicious, and there is a large patio out back with heaters and a tent (maybe only when they're expecting a crowd).

Do not go on a Monday night, it is Five dollar burger night. The place is packed and it can take up to a hour and half for a burger, salad and 2 kids hotdogs to reach your table. Like this place but stay clear on a Monday!

Very good bar & restaurant.

Very good bar & restaurant.
We enjoyed every dishes we ordered. Wonderful beer menu from all around the US included local breweries.
Thank you very much.

The food, the atmosphere and the service were great. My wife ordered the loaded fries, which are fries (or as some of us call them, chips) loaded with corned beef and topped with a sunny side up egg. She LOVED it. I enjoyed a pear cider, chicken pot pie, and we both had dessert (my wife had bread pudding, I had what they call "fritters"). The only thing I would recommend is since they expanded their dining area, they could add more toilets for customer convenience.

Best draft Guinness!! Delicious food - I d highlight reuben, Guinness beef stew, steak tacos, corned beef bites! They have a spacious patio (closed out with a heated tent now during the pandemic winter). Interior looks very special and authentic to Irish pub and Irish culture. And staff is just the best, always striving to provide the best service!

Great place to bring your kids apparently. I've been to bars before and I've seen some kids at a restaurant / bar but never really a small Irish bar that has typical bar food quite like I did here. Maybe I didn't explore the space much and there is a whole restaurant side? I don't know. I do know the kids were very well behaved and their parents seemed to be enjoying their beverages. Just seems like a bad idea to bring your 2 - 5 year old to a bar. No judgement, I mean, kids are such a burden and leaches really but I don't know if a bar is the best spot for a kid. I guess if you are going to bring your kid to a bar, bring them here because they'll have plenty of peers to play with. This was my first time here and I'm basing all of this kid stuff on that one time being there. Maybe there's a kid free night? Maybe I went on a kid's eat free night? I don't know what happened on that particular day at that particular time but there was a bunch of kids in the bar and I found it slightly inappropriate and that is on the parents, not the bar. The bar is welcoming and great and its nothing against the bar, at all. I mean, what are you going to do? Ban all kids from the bar? Can you do that? I mean, I guess you could? Its pretty uppity over there though so maybe people would start giving the bar bad reviews and what not because of their no kid policy. The black and tan I had was made perfectly.

Shepherd's pie was ok served in a large bowl. Nice beer selection. Our table was located in a noisy room, a group of people were extra loud, around 6pm on a Sat. The walls were all hard surfaces so it bounced around. Will try again.

We wanted a place outside the city, and close to the zoo. Irish times hits both of those key points, while having fairly easy access to the highway.

Wait time was great, even while incredibly busy, we had a table within ten minutes of our arrival. The menu was fantastic, offering plenty of options for dinner.

Only (VERY minor) complaint, is a lack of a listed (non alc) drink menu. The beer wine and mixed list was substantial and seemed very detailed. The appetizer portions were generous, and our meals portions were also large. Ordered the shepherd's pie, which easily could have served both of us, and my most common complaint about this item is usually it being too salty. Irish times nailed the seasoning perfectly, and it was very filling as well.

Atmosphere was great, music was JUST loud enough to be heard without impacting conversation, and it seemed like everyone working was personable. Pricing was beyond reasonable considering the amount of food that came with each order.

Servers were fantastic, always checking in, and we felt well taken care of.

Overall, we both agreed we'd be back to make our way through the menu in the future as well. Perfect finish to our night checking out the Brookfield zoo lights!
