This is a great Irish pub! Beers on tap and in bottles plenty of choices and the food is awesome!!
Great fish and chips, great service. Well decorated, and they have a lot of space outside.
Guinness is good, but not perfect
Perfect pour on Guinness. Food was very good. Staff was excellent.
The staff had legitimate accents and were very kind people. The atmosphere made feel like I was back at our Irish themed lakehouse.
Good Irish food and reasonable prices. Private rooms available for special occasions.
Needs to work on kinder greetings from the staff and getting takeout orders right.
Gave them three chances. First time I ever went, I arrived for food pickup at 3pm on a Good Friday for fish and chips. It was close to empty inside, no one at the bar. I tried to flag down TWO waitresses, but was rudely told twice to seat myself as they zipped by. Finally was able to slow down the third to say "I'm here to pick up food." Waited about 30 minutes at the bar (called food in over two hours ago at this point). Second time, I came to pick up food, ordered a chicken salad, came home and no chicken on it and they flubbed our fish and chip order. We called them up, explained and they kindly sent us a gift cert in the mail and we thought, "how awesome, a place that cares." So we dropped it. Third and last time, my mother, out of town came to visit to help as I'm late in pregnancy to pick up fish and chips. She encountered the same problem not only with trying to get someome to help her pick up the food, but waited 45 minutes at the bar after calling in early and on an offpeak time. When she came home, everything was beyond cold and she asked for a lot of malt vinegar, but came back (like I did the first time) with Italian vinegar dressing. Not worth the 10 minute drive.
This place is worth giving a shot. They have large portions for fair prices. Constantly well organized and with excellent ambience. Will visit here again.
Love the corned beef and cabage. The shepards pie is amazing too.
The Irish breakfast is fantastic. Beef stew is also good.
Be aware that the serving size for the stew is roughly that of a wading pool.
You know, I had low expectations going to an Irish bar next to a Metra stop, but I was wrong. Really good beer selection, friendly staff, nice patio, and good food that's not gonna win any awards, but you'll feel satisfied (get the Buffalo fries).
Beer garden is great on a sunny day but the service was extremely slow.
Great staff and awesome establishment. It s like traveling to Ireland without the plane ride. Legendary Irish Hospitality. Foods is grand even to go!
Good food, great service. Corned beef and Shepherd's pie are outstanding. Can get a little noisy at times, but it's a very popular place. Always enjoyed our visit.
I went with my 4 year old and a friend for a late lunch. The bartender/ server was so sweet to my daughter. She gave her a bunch of different colored crayons to use while we were there, and gave her a couple of cherries and orange slices when my daughter commented that she was hungry. She also went the extra mile to bring out an appetizer very quickly for my hungry child. She was so polite, I will definitely go back, just for her!! The food is also excellent, and the beer selection is great too.
Variety of menu options and food came out in a timely fashion
Service was really good. Loved the garlic sauce for my burger. A definite return in the future.
Great time with family and friends and the food and service is excellent.
All the employees are soo kind and it's an overall enjoyable place .
Went here on Monday for their $5 burger. We sat outside and there is plenty of outdoor seating. Burger was great and paired great with a 16oz lagunitas IPA.
Food and service were excellent. We had the party room for an event and everything ran smoothly. We will definitely be back!
Food is just average food. Cordial in has better burgers but Irish times has really good fish frys
My family loves this place, we have been going for 15 years!
Went for a holiday party and the cottage is so cute. Very warm and comfortable with a bar in back. The food was delicious, probably the best wings I ve EVER had. This place needs more recognition.
Irish Times is a good restaurant with good food. Service is mediocre
Delicious food, a fantastic beer selection and very friendly staff.
This has been our go to spot since moving to Brookfield. We have not had a disappointing experience with service or food once in the past 3 years!
Great bar that is always very accommodating to our group, the Chicago Patriots, for the meetings we have onsite. One of the best Shepherds Pie I've ever had. The Irish Breakfast is amazing as well.
I m going there in an hour for Ben s birthday, I bet its pretty lit....*Gives it 5 Stars*
My wife and I loved this place! Great atmosphere and great food. Loved the fireplace as well!
GREAT PLACE!!!, food is always amazing and the drink selection is amazing the beer menu alone is roughly 6 pages long which means you have a great number of choices. The patio they have in back is great during the spring and summer time if your in the area I would highly recommend giving it a try.
Had an amazing time with friends and family! Perfectly poured pint!! Most authentic Irish pub on this side of the pond! Would 100% recommend
Female bartender stated that she's unable to accept military ID for age verification. Irish Times - is this actually your policy, or was she just being stupid?
every single time my wife and I come here - were greeted like old friends come to share a pint (or 5). the food reminds me of Ireland. the music reminds me of Ireland. the hospitality reminds me of Ireland. the Guinness makes me forget where my car is. love it here!
Cool place. Authentic Irish pub with many beer options and really good food. Every day, there is a food special that is a great deal for $5. Friendly staff and always Irish music playing.
Tons of Shamrock atmosphere, many small, quirky rooms and a beautiful outside patio make Irish times a superb place to enjoy a Guinness (or two) and tell a tall tales about ancient Celtic heroes and bards. Great service adds to the fun and there's a wonderful menu to round out your visit.
Good food and good drinks. Nice place to have a meal.
Great food. Fun atmosphere...of course outside during these times...but covered
You can always count on great tasting food here! I like getting the Poutine and a movie mule. This past time I also tried the Irish stew and that was really good too!
Lousy corn beef. ....mostly fat! Should be able to enjoy corn beef at an Irish pub!
Perfect pint of Guinnes. And great atmosphere. Foods not bad. Just think Irish American food.
Local pub with great food and tasty beer. The atmosphere is awesome and always a blast on the weekend.
I love Irish Times! Wonderful food (delicious vegetarian options) and great beer selection. A+ service and friendly staff.
Place was above expectations. Great food, great service, and the whole place has a very cozy vibe. We had a small room in the back, and although a friend of mine got the back room for a private party at the last minute, their accommodations, and service were nothing short of excellent. Also considering only one person(a manager I believe) helped us, his service was top notch. Thanks again and we will definitely be seeing you guys again.
Get the fried pickles! The sandwiches are giant, so come with a big appetite or expect to have some leftovers.
Good service, free parking, ample servings and reasonable prices
Pedro's tacos are worth the trip. Curry fries surprisingly good.
Amazing Food. Great Quality, Great Price. Warm Atmosphere.
This restaurant provides extraordinary service as well as delightful food. The best spot in the area. The food and drinks served rapidly and the prices are economical. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.
This is a classic pub with a great atmosphere especially when the fire is roaring on a brutally cold day. A cozy feel for sure.
Outstanding food menu, able to prep carry out orders within a reasonable turnaround time. Great atmosphere in the restaurant.
Food was just okay. The fish in the fish and chips was chewy and the coleslaw was awful. The hostess while nice seemed to not be organized. Our server was inattentive. The bar service was great though.
Traditional Fare is exceptional! Outside on Patio, lots of GOOD stuff on tap. Worth the trip.
We love it here. The specials are all great bargains and delicious. We are there every Monday even I 50 below and blizzards!
Finest food, very welcoming staff, regularly great atmosphere. They charge fair rates and the food quality is awesome. Kudos.
Has the impossible burger on their menu, and 3 different sections to sit in.
Cobbled together Irish pub made up of several storefronts. When I visited today, there were several loud, obnoxious drunks and this was between 5-7 pm. Has a separate dining room with what looked to be good food at prices that were not too outrageous. Had a bowl of corned beef and cabbage soup that was very tasty but kind of small.
Great place for irish fare. Marvelous atmosphere on a cold evening with their fireplace in the dining area
A must visit when you are in or around Brookfield. Irish Times burger is excellent.
Excellent beer selection, and a very old school Irish pub style. The food was great, service was solid, and was a really neat experience. I would definitely recommend checking it out!
THE best Irish Pub in Illinois, maybe the US. Awesome crowd , awesome beer , and a great staff all set in classic Irish style.
Amazing food, and really close to Galloping Ghost Arcade!!!
Awesome service! great food. we had a party of 8 and everything was great!
Consistently good Pub Grub. Good traditional Irish fair. Good poor of Guinness.
My first time here, great experience. I will come back
Some food good, some just food-service. Nice pours of Guinness, comfortable pub.
