This war a terrific experience! My wife and I went out in search of a fish fry for Lent and I wanted to try a dhfferent "Irish" pub... We arrived at `bout 4:20pm `and this place was packed! I asked how long of a wait it would be for a table for 2 and was told 15 to 20 minutes... They had ole ready in 00! Our drinj and dinner orders were taken, and delivered quickly and cheerfully, Our fish and chips we're delivered by kitchen staff, with instructions to flag them down if we wanted more fish ( on Fridays, it's all you can eat!) . The food was delicious and appears to be home made. Can't wait to go back and try some other items on the menu.

Usually happy but tonight rueben sandwiches were unedible due to bread being hard. Went back for 2 new ones. Didnt even get a sorry that we had to return food. Very unfriendly service.

Gluten free options on the menu and labeled! So yummy! Brussel sprouts are amazing and love the dipping sauce. And also the corn beef and cabbage is soooo good!!! Always fun and entertaining! Got a free engraved glass for just buying a beer!

Holy cow this place is great! You can't beat the atmosphere with a stick! Great beer, whisky, food and people. What a great place to watch the game or just hang out! They have outdoor seating too! Beautiful place!

I get to eat here a lot since I work in the area. I love how the customer service is always excellent and they keep the place neat consistently. Prices are fair and they serve sizeable portions.

Delicious! We took a fish & chips family meal to go.
This tavern has charachter. In winter there is a fire place. They gave a patio and also a cottage for gathering space that can be rented out.

The corned beef was great! I've never had it like they do. It's so light but filling at the same time. I split this meal with my mother. A must try! Also, when we had it, it wasn't around st. Patrick's day. I've noticed if you order it from other restaurants in a month that is not March, it's gross.

The fish fry at Irish Times is wonderful and not too greasy. I've been going there for years and never have had a bad meal. The chicken tender appitizer is also a great option if you dob't like fish.

Service was amazing, food was traditional and was great. Atmosphere was comfortable. Will return. Pricing was kind of expensive. Since we only come to area for zoo we can swing it. Great place over all.

This is more than just a bar or restaurant, it's a pub. An experience like no other, kind of like stepping into a friends' house and just hanging for awhile. The food is great comfort food. I dont think I've ever had a bad meal here. The corned beef & cabbage, the fish-n-chips, the poutine fries, the potato soup and everything in between are thoughtfully prepared. As for the spirits, well, they can speak for themselves. I would say come one, come all, but I'm terrified this place will be overrun as it's that good.

My #1 favorite spot to go. I can't think of a single thing wrong with Irish Times. The interior boasts a traditional Irish pub from the moment you walk in but the beer garden is the greatest part about this place.
Cobblestone garden lined with tables and string lights hanging above. There is a private cottage out back for special events and parties. Seriously, go here on a nice summer day and it's like you're in the Shire.
The food is out-of-this-world good. From the traditional fare such as the Shepard's Pie and Scotch eggs to the more modern/American whiskey wings and Pedro's tacos. Don't miss out on the burgers too!
The bar is what you would expect, traditional but a few good, local craft beers on tap and in cans. The staff is really what makes this place special. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Seriously, best service ever. Martin is doing a great job with this place.
10/10 with rice

My wife and i had a terrible experience at phils sports bar and decided to try this place, and were glad we did. It was a day and night difference. Even when the place was full we were greeted and tended to with fast and friendly service, it was amazing. The staff was fun and had great attentiveness, and the food and drink selection was better than most places weve been to. This place earned their returning business

From the friendliness of the service to the quality of the food, it's everything you could ask for an more. I took my kids after heading to Brookfield Zoo's Zoo Lights, and even in the early evening, the place is as kid friendly as any parent could want.

Stopped in after Metra ride from work (Brookfield stop), super convenient for dinner! Walked in seated myself and was acknowledged by two members of staff rather quickly. Both were friendly, and my server was prompt with my drink order. Haven't even gotten my food yet, but I'm excited to try their new item, the Impossible Burger, with all the fixins (no cheese), wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun, although they do have a gluten free bun too as an option. Excited for the fries with curry aioli and extra side of curry gravy for dipping. I would drool at the thought of this if it wasn't socially awkward!

Just ok! No place to wait and staff seemed to walk by and ignore us instead of taking our name - eventually got our name down but couldn't offer any estimated wait time.

We had the veggie burger and fish and chips. Food was bland and the fish was chewy from being overcooked. Fries were nice and crispy though.

Back in the day, this was one of my favorite haunts. I'd even come in on the Metra from the city to visit Irish Times. Alas, times have changed for the Times. The old owner, Martin sold the bar to his nephew and while being of Irish descent, the nephew has managed to erase all Irish authenticity from this place. Today I associate Irish Times with high drink prices ($6 for a pint of Guinness), loud music of the 80's hair band metal genre not Celtic, and simply the rudest, worst service I've ever known this side of Burger King. The women who "work" at this bar seem to take pleasure in ignoring customers, as if they're doing you a favor just by taking your order. Food quality has dropped alongside everything else. However, on the plus side, it's no longer as crowded as it once was (and for good reason). Skip this place.

I frequently order Irish Times for office lunches at my work. Everyone loves all the food, from the corned beef to the fish and chips, all of the food is amazing! I lived in Ireland for a while, and this place is the best Irish restaurant that I've found in the states. I've also actually been to the pub, and the atmosphere is as authentic as can be. Also, the owner, Martin, is truly one of the good guys in society, and will do anything to make sure that the customer feels at home. He is a really good guy, I give this place an enthusiastic 5 stars!

Always a great time at Irish Time's. Friendly staff, fresh, cold beer selection and great food served hit and fresh. I recommend Taco Tuesday -- for $5 you get three authentic tacos. Match those with a pint and you have a great meal.
