Stopped in on Halloween for the grandkids to trick or treat. It was Brookfield's monsters on main Street event. Weather was cold and raining. Asked one of the staff if we get a coffee to go and he proceeded to brew a fresh pot and gave it to us for free! Pretty cool!
A long time favorite. Great service almost always, delicious (but overpriced) pub food, excellent beer and nice cider variety on tap including Crispin, Magners, and Angry Orchard, and finally the atmosphere is wonderful. I love the fireplace during the cold season and the Christmas decor during the holidays. Top notch.
One of th best places to go for some good eats (corned beef and shepherd's pie are phenomenal) and AMAZING service. Marco and Victor are awesome people, but the staff overall is great. Grab a bloody or let the bartenders give you a recommendation, you wont be disappointed. We've moved a distance but still find our way back for the great service and atmosphere. <3
The fish and chips were good, but the one hour and twenty minute wait wasn t so great. We were a party of three, and they could not find us a table. Would return but not in a group of more than two.
Irish Times is a favorite friends and family get together location with great Irish ambiance, great service, and good food. Next to the Metra, in downtown Brookfield, I love to meet with people, and am a regular patron dining in the beer garden about once a month or so.
A good old fashioned irish pub with music.Mondays are $5.00 burgers and may get crowded after 4pm.They have an excellent corned beef and cabbage. There's parking in their back lot too.
Nice outdoor seating area. The staff was amazing and the food was great. This establishment is close to the train station and only 25 minutes from Union station. I would definitely return.
We enjoy to go out. Yesterday we arrived in this superb place which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a delightful evening there with delicious dishes and a nice team and a professional chef. We put this place in our phone list and we shall surely come back very soon. We deeply recommend.
Love their daily specials. Sitting by the fire in the winter & outdoors on a warm evening or autumn afternoon is always delightful. The staff is always attentive & pleasant on the eyes.
Great place for fish & chips and a pint of Guiness with your friends who travel on the Burlington Metra line. There is outdoor seating and a cozy little building out back that you can rent for parties. .
Dude...if you're not going to Irish Times, you're doing it wrong. Great food, great service and a very strong local and international craft beer menu. 3 for $5 Tuesday tacos deliver!
This restaurant is amazing and roomy, the food was enchanting and the prices were very inexpensive. quickly, effective service and very attentive staff. Will definitely recommend this place.
Old fashioned Irish pub, run by real Irish people. Great food, good service, great beer selection, and full bar. Plenty of room indoors AND a fantastic outdoor space in back. Love going here and you should check it out!
I LOVE this restaurant! Great energy and friendly staff! Authentic and delicious food! Their fish and chips, Shepard's pie, Reuben, and Mandy's chicken curry are my favorites!
Wonderful place to meet with a friend and handicap accessible seating. Very good food. I had the Beyond a Burger and it was delicious. The plant based Patty tastes just like a beef patty.
Great burgers but do NOT go here for corned beef on St Patrick's day. Last 2yrs went thwre and barely NO meat on two cold pieces of rye bread for DOUBLE the regular cost. Felt really taken.
Cozy place. They have bast variety of drinks. If you're hungry, they have a good variety of foods, incluiding tacos (special on tuesdays). Very friendy service, I have been there even just to sip some coffee. Also, very important: children are very welcome.
This place was great - they accommodated a small, last minute baby shower for our group, and the service was on point. He gave us space but was there whenever we needed him. The food was delicious (highly recommend the cheese curds, they taste like they're battered in house - potato skins were predictably amazing as well) and our glasses were never left empty. Would definitely go back to sit inside this time - the patio was great but highly trafficked, and the inside looked like it had a cute, cozy pub/tavern feel.
This was a great find after a trip to the zoo. A bit of a wait because it was $5 burger night. After scoring a table and looking at the menu, we both opted for the Irish burger with bacon, grilled onions and cheddar cheese (not $5 - more like $14) ... it was DE-licous! Cole slaw not creamy enough for me but the fries were good. We'll definitely go back!
This restaurant is amazing and roomy, the food was enchanting and the prices were very inexpensive. quickly, effective service and very attentive staff. Will definitely recommend this place.
Nice & lively place. Good service. I had the chicken curry & while it was good it just need s bit more curry flavor as it was a little watered down. Desserts were good, too!
I love this restaurant! They prepare first-cleass dishes, their menu is large, The chef in that spot is a real pro, I enjoy very much tasting all their dishes. The food is always of high qualtity, the service towards the guests is helpful. I frequently visit this place and I was never disappointed. I recommend it with no hesitation.
This restaurant is absolutely one of the best place to eat in the neighborhood. Anytime I go there I am awfully pleased. They keep their high level service and the topmost level of food they offer. You are always happy with this place. Warmly recommended.
We had a lovely little get together at this charming restaurant. Great food, super service from Regina, what's not to love? Looking forward to our next visit!
Visited Irish Times for their annual Oyster Fest. The oysters tasted fresh and yummy. I tried the sausage and shrimp gumbo. I enjoyed it although it was a bit heavy on the rice. All in all a fun afternoon in a pleasant and friendly setting. There is outdoor seating available.
A charming place in a quiet corner with a traditional Irish cuisine. I love the quirky ambiance and the Irish accented waiters/waitresses. If you are a vegan, there is a black bean burger that is amazing.
