Great place to stay, there is a subway station opposite the hotel, the traffic is quite convenient.

A downtown hotel, a little old style fashion in Viena. Breakfast is OK, dinner is not recommanded.

I recently stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel in Vienna! The hotel was absolutely stunning! The service was great! The room was very clean and I loved being able to watch movies on the tv in English! The bathroom was a little small. The WiFi connection was very slow, I was unable to use FaceTime. The bed was SO comfortable! I had a nice view of the city from my room!! I ate at the restaurant in the hotel a few nights and the food was delicious!! The breakfast buffet was exceptional!! They had a huge variety of foods for everyone! I had the whole Austrian experience in this wonderful hotel!

Nice hotel from the inside. From the outside it looks more like a prefabricated building from the GDR time. Small rooms. Effortful and capable staff.

Top Hotel very good price performance relation compare to many other hotels around the world.

It would be otherwise almost perfect stay (almost but for price) except we believe we have been conned by the taxi driver who bellboy called and assisted us to get to the main train station which is probably 3 or 4km away. He took us a long way and charged us e2.80 for waiting fee. In the end it cost us euro 20 for a trip which we paid less than half to come into hotel.
I do believe this is exception as we have never experienced this kind of behavior, not just in Austria but Central Europe like Czech and Hungary. I put review under the hotel as I believe the driver collaborated with bellboy to make this working when you least expect it. In other words if I did hail a taxi or call uber, it would not happen (very unlikely anyway)

Great experience but at a special charity event. The Irish Ball. The staff and service at the Intercontinental have always been superb.

The bar of the Intercont is one of the most ingenious locations in Vienna. Great ambience and well-groomed patina. Almost like a journey back in time to the sixties. Attentive service and a comprehensive selection of cocktails complete the picture. Unfortunately not for long, because the house will probably be demolished next year .....

Very nice and atmospheric as the conclusion of an evening, live piano music, but unfortunately so well visited that we had to stop elsewhere .... and today hats worked! There is nothing like a .. Calypso at "strangers in the night" ... and: the nicest and most competent barman I ever met! ... Thick bussi for him!

A bit old, but the breakfast is the best in the whole of Vienna. Definitely enjoy a cocktail in the sophisticated bar under the imposing chandelier.

This hotel was centrally located. We could walk to the Opera, restaurants, churches, museums and shopping. The rooms were comfortable and housekeeping services were great. The food at the bar was very good. We went to the VIP Lounge for breakfast and happy hour where they served not only drinks but very good food. The staff was well trained and eager to help. We recommend this hotel in Vienna.

The hotel is nice and cozy in terms of staying. They are taking all safety precautions for the prevention of COVID. Wearing a mask in the lounge and dinning area is compulsory. The room service is also nice. The staff is polite and helping.

Beautiful hotel situated a walk distance from the Vienna city centre.
With a very grand lobby which includes a bar and a coffee shop.
Pleasant, patience and attentive reception staff, knowledgeable in the area.
Rooms have good views with large and comfortable beds.
Although bathroom are fine they could be updated.
Not many plugs in the room but seating and desk are comfortable.

Afraid the sound insulation in the room is very poor. Can hear next rooms television clearly. Room on the small side for 200 a night. Bathroom ceiling too low to stand up in shower if you re over 1.9m. Not really very good in this level of hotel. Staff friendly and helpful.

Bring your friend to the interconti lounge bar. Have drinks with your friends. It is awesome there. not a place to meet others. best for smaller groups like 4 to 8 ppl. beautiful ambiente

Great hotel, Good service, friendly multilingual staff. Beds are super comfy. Showers are nice. Only bad thing is that but the tub in our room was tall but only 1 meter (~3ft long).. So really difficult to use to take a bath.. Also the lower shower head leaked into the floor and soaked everything... Wasn't the first time either, from the paint and wood around it looks like it has always been that way.

The hotel itself is excellent but some services are poor: the doormen will not help you with the luggage if you do not look oriental enough. And I did not travel to Vienna to eat Arabian food which was the main offer in the hotel restaurant!

Very outdated. Low ceiling, small windows like in prison, tired furniture. And honestly it s a sore thumb ugly building next to the beautiful Viennese architecture. It should be torn down and rebuilt into something more attractive.

Very nice front desk service, gentle and kind to attitude makes me feel at home. In addition to understanding member preferences, it is recommended to go to restaurants where local talents go. The lobby is decorated to be noble, but the toilet is small and old. The rooms are warmly furnished but the toilet is small. The beds are soft and comfortable and don't want to get up, but the sound is not too good. The location of the hotel is near the subway station, and the opposite side of the park is laid-back, and there are restaurants in it that are always full of guests.

Well, but do not deserve 5 stars, the hotel deserves a renovation. Small room, the radio does not work in the bathroom. 3 french tv channels ....

My rating concerns the bar area in the large foyer. Very dignified with carpets and big crystal chandeliers. Often live piano music. Nice seating, also with sofas. Very friendly and competent service. An excellent selection of nuts is served with the drinks. You can speak excellent and without disturbances. Now and then I let an evening end after a visit to the Vienna Konzerthaus and can recommend this with a clear conscience.

It was great to cross the pedestrian crossing once at the Stadtpark subway station (stairs only), and the hotel facilities are old but well maintained and antique and cozy. I thought I slept well because of the gingerbread that you let me clean while you clean up your bed in the evening. You can also enjoy a sweet dessert on Julius Smile coffee at the lobby cafe on the 1st floor. Getting really classy and delicious taste! But never eat. Ordered lunch and waited an hour and thirty minutes. If there was a problem, I should have informed you of the situation, but it didn't exist at all, and after about 30 minutes I asked about it. All but satisfactory.

bad smile in bed and food in room service not nice and expensive, and housekeeping is very vey bad i take 30 minutes to send sone one to take my bags and cards of the room every day i changed 3 time because is not working and every thing in the hotel is very old , put 4 stars not 5
