Palatial hotel which gives more of palace feeling than of hotel. wonderful room and the auditorium is state of art for any large conventions. great beach and wonderful pool complimented the stay.
I was only outside takich part in an rent Canines For Cause but it made huge impression on me. Great place with lots of greenery, nice lanes and private beach.

This is the best hotel in oman. A five star hotel maintained by the ministry of royal court affairs.
A good experience. We went there as we heard that the hotel reopened after a 9 month renovation. I did nor change a lot. A new pool was added near some rooms, but without deckchairs. The gym was not touched at all. We just expected more. Still one of the best places to stay in Muscat but not anymore THE PLACE to be. The staff is ultra freindly and the new uniforms are cool.

A really amazing building and a lovely setting. We tried to have lunch there but the main restaurant that was serving local cuisine, was closed.

I love this place very much. They are very lucky with the beautiful surrounding nature and they have very tasty food in a large restaurant.
Area, in particular outside area super nice, solid construction Hotel is not at all noticeable. Lobby superlative, staff very friendly. What is perhaps striking is the simplicity in the restaurants, food itself is excellent everywhere. Drink menu is not spectacular as far as alcoholic drinks are concerned - in contrast to the prices. Overall, very good impression; Little things are missing to the top.

Have stayed at this hotel 6 times and have only ever experienced the very best of everything. I think it is an amazing place, (our personal home from home) and the staff from management to housekeeping could not be more friendly, helpful or kind. Nothing is too much trouble. The lobby is an awesome place with such a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere away from the heat of the outdoors and the garden, beach and pool areas are beautifully kept and maintained. The choice of restaurants and food is excellent, very clean and efficient service. A wonderful holiday is ensured and we are about to pay our 7th visit.

No doubt an iconic resort worth visiting. Guest rooms are newly refurbished and nicely appointed. Service in the restaurants and by the pool deck can be hit or miss. Some employees are friendly and engaging, yet omit to follow through with a request. Others excel at their job. Yet others lack service culture and intuitiveness. Quality of food and beverages is equally inconsistent. Prices are very high, even at international standard compared to gateway destinations elsewhere.

The palace is grand. It's a huge serene n calming place. We had sat in the garden by the beach. Lovely place especially for couples. It's a place for grand destination wedding. Lots of Arabic weddings happen here. It's naturally v.expensive.
