Huge lobby. Desk staff was polite, efficient and helpful. My room was ready early and I was assigned a room in the newer building. Long walk from the elevator and a poor view of the roof of a service area.
My room was large and had a separate big walk in shower. Huge tub I did not use. Soap and shampoo typical IC high quality. Good quality hangers in the closet.
King size bed which has worn down on one side over time. Two small comforters instead of one king-sized. I can't decide if that was a plus or not.

Anyone who is unable to work here as an employee is asked to go to the head of department on the first healthy day in order to be questioned in a perfidious way down to details about the medication, best regards to Mr. Thomas W. (the former Bundi and IT specialist)! Problems that are pointed out to the trusted employee lead to the immediate termination of the employment relationship during the probationary period and bullying behind the scenes is more important than friendly service in the operational business! A lack of empathy and coldness are the main pillars of the Intercontinental Berlin, whose foyer has already been used as a toilet by a famous footballer, and not without good reason!

I stayed at the InterConti for 4 days in summer 2017 and was very pleased. Much is in the immediate vicinity, the parcel service is very efficient, the staff and the service are as it should be for a hotel of this class. The room was very large and new, bathroom with tub and shower and the cleanliness was also in no way to fault. A clear recommendation and whole 5 stars! Keep it up!

The lobby is elegant but somewhat austere. There is a lovely sitting area connecting the Marlene bar to the lobby. Keycard needed to use the elevator.

At the room, we discovered we were right next to the elevator. The elevator shaft was right behind our bed. That didn t become an issue with noise until the hotel got busy over the weekend. In fact, we didn t hear a soul until the weekend. It seemed like we were on the floor alone.

In the room, we had a nice sitting area. There was a nice amount of closet space and areas to set your things. There is a fun selection of hot beverages to make in the coffee/tea maker. There is one complimentary 1 L bottle of water per day. The minibar was expectedly overpriced. It s in a sensor, so you must make do with the tiny space that is marked for personal use. We could barely fit a box of leftovers in there.

The bed was crazy firm, but it was still mostly comfortable. The pillows were a little too soft, and I didn t know how to access the advertised pillow menu. I suppose I could have inquired, but I didn t care that much. We used the pillows from the couch when we wanted to prop up in bed.

The tv is viewable from both the bed and the sitting area. Cable in English are limited to news, horse shows, and Judge Judy. There are pay movies and a very few of them are free. Not why we were in Berlin anyway, so none of this is an issue.

The bathroom was beautiful and clean. There were nice toiletries and a no-fog mirror. The provided bathrobes were very stiff, so I didn t use mine. The deep soaking tub was raised, so it was quite a big step in and out of the bath/shower. Be aware of your footing! Also, there is a space in the door that is perfect for water to leak through and soak the floor.

We opted not to have breakfast at the hotel, but we did check it out, and it looked great for those who like to eat a hearty breakfast. We also didn t eat at any of the restaurants, but the bar had a great selection, good service and delicious free bar snacks (green olives and Parmesan crackers).

I could not figure out where the pool/gym was, but I ll admit, I didn t try very hard.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would recommend it for couples and business travelers.

Without comments. The highest level of service. Great breakfasts, a great selection of dishes. You can even have a sparkling wine breakfast for the price. A children's corner. Great location close to the zoo - I recommend visiting a panda.

Although it is a bit far from the station, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel that is very convenient for sightseeing. JSTV was also included and I was able to watch the Japanese broadcast. Breakfast was abundant and delicious.
However, I hit a room with low water pressure in the bath. Since it was after unpacking the luggage, it was bothersome to change the room and left it as it was, but this is something that will happen in a first-class hotel ... a future lesson.

The best hotel that I have ever been in my life. Beautiful hotel, the workers their are kind and helpful, the breakfast is fantastic and the room is great. One of the best locations in Berlin and not expensive.

Unfortunately, the ITB party at Marlene Bar was not nice. The quality of the offered drinks was in no way appropriate for the location. Selling the cheapest beer at bargain prices is not worthy for this house. IHG has already apologized for this disaster, but I see no reason to visit this bar ever again. I can not recommend tourists and visitors to the bar to party there.

Nice large hotel, more suited to conference/business travellers than tourists, but the hotel was accommodating to us. The reception staff, were friendly and efficient. The only gripe was the room was a bit tired, and the breakfast was very expensive, and a lot of the breakfast items took ages to be replenished, for a 5 star hotel at that price isn't acceptable. Nonetheless, a good stay and would recommend it

To All Travel Enthusiasts - I do not write this review light hearted yet all stars are deserved. I recently stayed at this location over a weeklong business/ leisure trip to Berlin and could not be happier. During my 7 night stay over New Years the location and accommodations were great but it s the service that was the upmost remarkable. Thank you to Geraldine (hotel) & The Marlene restaurant staff, extra stars are deserved. See you next year Intc. Berlin!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The room was well appointed with a great tub for soaking. The in room coffee machine was a welcome sight for this weary traveler and the breakfast buffet was delightful.

They also have a nice piano bar and the gym and swimming pool facilities are lovely.

Although one time I was working out early in the morning thanks to my wonderful companion "Mr Jetlag" and upon entering the gym, which is 24 hours, there was some rather inappropriate material being played on the television.

With no one around the gym except for a cleaner around the pool, one can only guess that a guest likes a bit of soft porn with their bicep curls.

The rooms were ok but when we checked out they first said that we had to pay 25 euros afterwards they looked and suddenly they gave us 7 euros afterwards they checked that we had already paid for breakfast for 3 days and there was 27 euros left of the 50 euros for the first day that we handed in at the check in, so if we hadn't gone back and asked, we would have spent 27 euros on nothing

The room a tiny bit small. The room is comfy and very helpful staff what makes me rate the hotel a 5*. The staff's command of English is also good. You will not face any difficulties in communicating with the the staff here. The bathroom door also has like a hole in it which also acts as a door handle. I think the hotel should change this kind of door for their 2 single bed room. It kinda make the situation tiny bit awkward for me and my friend. Overall still a very nice hotel to stay in.

Hotel of the international luxury class. Classic, high quality equipped. Very good business and congress center. The really high quality and very courteous service starts right outside the door and runs through the entire stay. Whether restaurant, hotel or conference area.

A very good hotel with courteous service, which justifies the price! My superior room was great, quiet, excellent mattresses and very clean. The guest relation management took care within minutes to connect my ipad with the WLAN. Two really nice days spent in the Intercontinental!
