Intercontinental Al Ain Resort Review

Very nice resort..green area .. Room and bathroom is net and clean. Large swimming pool. We enjoy our stay..

Used to go there as a kid when it was the intercontinental.. same vibe.. enjoyed the stay

A good resort.. !! Away from the city bustle of dubai.. !!
The resort is good..
Spa is excellent..!!
However the morning buffet breakfast runs full during weekends.. which could be better managed..!

The place is endowed with magnificence, comfort and hospitality and their excellent service

It's a great resort, decent price. The furniture pretty old and kinda gives the rooms a look of 3 stars hotel.
The lobby is huge and has everything you need.
The swimming pool is the best there, it's huge and like a water park.

Rooms are spacious, the staff are very nice and the swimming pools are fantastic but unfortunately the hotel's air conditioning is very bad. The problem is not just one room but all the hotel rooms.
The receptionist was understanding of the problem and offered to change the room and we went to more than four rooms and there was the same problem, I was transferred to the ward suite from the door of satisfaction.
I do not recommend the hotel to those who can not afford the warm atmosphere in the room.
I hope the hotel will be air conditioned because it is not this problem it is a very cool resort.

Service was poor at the reception and restaurant went for breakfast at 9:30 am and most of the food was not available we had to wait for 30 minutes to be refilled only after asking the manager why do we have to ask.

Poor food service..dirty rooms and badly maintained rooms..to top it up my gucci shoes were stolen from room after the cleaning of the room was done..

Very old furniture, the a/c not working, people without any protection from covid 19 (no masks , or distance between them and no one asking them to do so)

I have not tried the hotel but tried the cafeteria and the health club there ... A wonderful experience ... The health club offers all kinds of sports equipment in addition to the steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi, cold water pool in addition to the family swimming pool and Olympic swimming pool

Excellent family oriented resort with well trained staff. They cater to all your whims and fancies. They do cater for the young at heart with a nightclub.

Stayed there for a Night , it was Wonderful , There's a Big Pool which is well maintained also The Breakfast was Good.

I have been there for two days with my family, I booked villa with full board. Villa and hotel were cosy, I have no issues in that. My only issue was the food, and for that I deducted one star. However, my wife and kids had no issues with the buffet cuisines, so from to one it could be different opinions. Kids liked the pool. Staff were awesome and very helpful. Over all I liked the atmosphere and would definitely repeat it. Recommended

One of the best choices for a city stay is its best

Perfect family place for a weekend. They have lots of activities for kids and adults. Food is good and the rooms are clean. All the staff members are very friendly and helpful. Very convenient location in DT Al Ain

Beautiful hotel with plenty of offerings. Pool area is top notch. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Most of all STAFF!!! They are amazing.

One of the worst experiences I ever had.

The room was not clean and had no fridge!
The bathroom s sink was not draining water and I had to call the reception to change the room.
The TV screen is very small and old.

There are far better hotels with the same price range.

Disastrous!
We ve been going to Danat Alain for almost 12 years now- once a year at least. This year we were extremely disappointed- people swimming with their clothes on, nannies following kids in the pool as is with full clothes on, young boys swimming in their boxers, families sitting around on the grass having what I would call a picnic of their own (making cheese and chocolate spread wraps) and leaving there garbage on the floor after they ve gone in addition to reallyyyy slow food service at pool (an hours wait)... after at least 18 visits, this visit would be our last
