Great quality food, super friendly and fast staff. We never had to think about it, we were well taken care of. We are always helped quickly and nicely with the ice and they are always in for a chat

4 course surprise menu ordered. It turned out to be a 3 course disappointment menu. A small shot glass "soup". A large dimple plate with 4 pieces of ravioli in tomato soup. Didn't taste very special and a plate with 3 pieces of chewy pork, a piece of mash and some colored strings. Fourth course not seen. Rating: not nearly six! Italian restaurant. Hell was nothing like it.

We ate very moderately tonight. The venison steak (2x) was burned. Afterwards I brought new pieces, but the suffering was already with the burnt taste. The rosemary potatoes were way too hard and the zander was totally tasteless. Afterwards, the zander was not calculated, but the visit was extremely disappointing. A very bad evening for Intenzo. I had imagined so much of it. Carpaccio, by the way, was delicious. But this absolutely could not compensate. This was a failed evening! It is easy to pay for everything with the exception of the zander. We are not coming back here.

Very annoying that 3 of us had already received the order and afterwards number 4 was told that what he had ordered was no longer there.

Very nice italian restaurant. Convenient location in the centre of Hengelo, adequate entrance for wheelchairs. Very clean tables and bathroom.

Good quality and variety of entrees and main dishes. Amazing quality and variety of desserts. Their ice cream is from Van der Poel.

Used lunch. Tasty and nice ambiance. You take an extra cup of coffee.

A three-quarters empty patio leads to a 15 minute wait for non-descript ice cream that has already melted when the coffee was not made again until 10 minutes later by laconic indifferent service. Pretentiously presented food that is qualitatively unattractive. The "homemade" tiramisu is over priced and has hardly any layers. In short, a story by the ignorant. But fits well with local audiences.

In terms of quality, ambiance and service certainly worth 4 stars. But it is not price-effective in terms of price. I mean: bottle of flat water 5.50 euros? And to pay for all the garniture separately, you can. But then the price of the main course must be attuned to this. In other words: good food, but the bill was swallowed ...

We found the service and price / quality the last time against falling ... while this was otherwise so positive. The whole evening no olive or antipasti or piece of bread seen to the quite long wait and messy operation what to compensate or i.e.g. to strengthen the "Italian feeling" ...

Again delicious eaten with friends. The service is nice and loose (positive) while they do know the food. I especially recommend the Parmesan pasta. Of course closed with Van der Poel ice cream! Each course had an intense taste.

What a top tent!
This afternoon I had placed an order to reserve two pasta to go. When I arrived at the restaurant, I found out that this meant that we had to give the finishing touch to this good looking package ourselves. However, that was not an option because we stayed in a hotel.
There was a great response to this, they prepared the pasta themselves and I was offered a water (with 36 degrees this was very welcome). Such sweet staff and delicious food! Even got two plates that I can return the next day.
So thoughtful and nothing is a problem, tomorrow I will have lunch here and hopefully enjoy the beautiful outdoor garden.

At a beautiful location in the center of Hengelo. Great ice cream and an extensive range of flavors. Friendly service although the terrace policy (no ice cream) often causes misunderstandings.

For cappuccino there was a very tasty scoop of ice cream. That seems to be so common here. We liked it. Cappucino also only 2, 60 . Very large ice selection. We will try more at the next visit. Outside is heated with Elekkrmtrostrahlern.

Always nice to have lunch here or eat a delicious ice cream on the terrace. Never been to dinner. It seems to be very tasty, but it might be a bit too fancy for me. But I could be wrong and I should give it a try. I mostly beach on the terrace with an ice cream Lemon Cookie & Cream

Do not expect pizza or lasagna here, this is the special Italian kitchen full of surprises! Olives are already on the table in a jar with sticks. We took the surprise menu. Tasty wine there and on request a water can not be a problem. No large plates full but surprising sauces and beautiful layout of the plates. For dessert, a variety of mousses and sweets, delicious, and I missed the tasty ice cream that they sell at the front. That's why I bought a scoop of lemon ice cream on a cone when we left.
