I have been here several times now and it remains very tasty. The waiting time for the food is very short, but if you also take a starter there is quite a lot of time between the starter and the main course, which is a shame because I want to eat a lot in a short time.

Very neat and a nice atmosphere. Super nice staff. Also highly recommended in the bar!

Top hotel, I come here regularly to enjoy the surroundings. The hotel is top notch and is in a prime location. You can immediately take the highway towards Almelo or Enschede.

Wonderful hotel, loved the way they design it and the stuff really helped us along the way. The room were clean, bright and had an balcony to sit down outside although the sun didn't shine our way. The breakfast was normal, just one critical point was that they had no white bread or maybe some chocolate bread for the little ones. If you want you're egg to be baked fully just ask them and they'll happily help you with it. Overal, it's close to ikea, kfc, other furniture shops, media markt, mcdonalds and Starbucks to go. Also, in like 1 hour you'll be in germany. Had a nice stay!

Very few vegetarian dishes in the menu. After asking the cook, they made a tasty quinoa burger + served at the table where we sat.

Nice breakfast and the rooms are well kept and clean. I enjoyed it again!

Stayed in August 2020. Well taken into account the corona measures in the catering establishments. Spacious and the employees also kept their distance. Well thought about allergies and alternative dishes.

Room was spacious, clean and looked very new. Beds were nice. Lamps were broken. Room service the following morning was good and delivered decently.

Fitness had to be reserved due to corona. Very neat space and everything was neat and clean.

Very strict policy regarding corona. People are more than 1.5 meters apart. Well arranged. Beautiful room, wonderful beds, beautiful bathing facilities. And delicious breakfast buffet and delicious food.

Spacious room with coffee machine. A balcony with a table and 2 chairs. Is not wrong for me as a smoker. Then I don't have to walk hundreds of meters every time to smoke a cigarette. The breakfast is, as is known, extensive. The lunch package is somewhat scanty for that price. So improvement is still needed there. But overall a great stay!

Hotel Hengelo is a location for a dinner party that I can recommend: the food is of good quality, the drinks are great and the price - quality ratio is also good. In addition, a ministry that knows what to do without imposing itself. Great in 1 word.

Just arrived in the room, nice and cool with the air conditioning. Spacious room and a good location for a day out. Spacious breakfast buffet, good meals in the restaurant.

Hospitality is excellent and a special dietary requirement for lunch could be done without problems. The lunch itself was fresh, tasteful and a generous portion. The downside is the home-made 'Spa red', acidifying water with CO2 is simply not tasty.

We thought we could go for a nice family dinner here. Although most of the food was very tasty, our impression was that the staffing was insufficient for the number of guests. We constantly had to wait quite long for our drinks. Now that would not disturb us normally, were it not for the fact that an extremely noisy group of young men was seated at the table right next to us. That group was constantly supplied with serving trays full of beer glasses, which did not exactly improve the noise level. While we were at least 10 minutes dry, two waiters sat and talked to the noise makers for a long time and amicably. This happened a number of times in the evening. A pity, because we are not used to that from the usually professional staff at Van der Valk!

Stylishly furnished, cozy. But the restaurant has really become very expensive. And a pity that they have taken away the salad bar.
