Nice facility. Check out the bus tour of rocket test areas.
Not bad especially for the price! Fun for our all age kids
LOVE THIS PLACE!!!...Changes so it's not the same everytime. Definitely do the bus tour. Lots of places for Grannies like me to sit and watch. Once the gift shop closed as the kids were getting there and the girl was nice enough to open it again, something for everyone in the gift shop!
Lots to see, so be plan for 3 hours at least. Bus tour is 40 minutes.
Really cool place to stop. Seeing the rocket engine testing stands was well worth it.
Interesting and well organized small museum. Children friendly
Informative displays, but facility is geared towards school age groups. Could have much more historical background displays on NASA. Nothing about the two space shuttle diasters. Nothing about the upcoming 2020 Mars mission. Bus tour of rocket engine testing area was disappointing as bus never stopped moving to get a better and longer look. Bus driver did well on providing narration. Opens at 9am, but first bus tour isn't until 11. 50% Focus was on weather, climate, oceanography, and plants. It's worth a visit, but not if you need to go far out of your way.
Price is a bit steep but still a good place to visit. My kid wants to go again. Make sure you visit the Simulator. It is awesome!
Lots of learning to be done here, really awesome stuff, fun times
Enjoyed our visit here. Went on a bus tour followed by a movie about space and then we went to see some awesome displays they had and the gift shop. Truly enjoyed it all!
The museum looks impressive from the outside and even more so when you see the first stage of Apollo 19, but the inside is full of disappointment. Look up a map of the museum and you'll see that there isn't much there. Of the small handfull of exhibits, half of them were closed. It cost over $60 for our family to attend, but it may have been only worth $20-$30 total. Save the time and money and look for another attraction.
Really awesome place! It was a nice cap to our family vacation. Stopped on a whim and was treated to a nice experience. The staff was exceptional! The young lady working the vr simulator calmed down my 6yr old girl when she was frightened, they were accommodating of my disability, and explained things with true enthusiasm. Of you haven't been here for a visit you should plan a trip.
nice your informative guides interactive exhibits for kids
Great place for everyone. No matter what your age. I had a nice time. My favorite part was the virtual reality on the upper level.
Nice bus tour of the facility, but the science center was smaller than we expected. Once the bus tour is over, you can spend another 20 minutes in the center before kids will get bored.
Great for people who love Space. The bus tour I didn't care for but it was cool
Family had a great visit, very educational and interesting to the kids.
Super fun to learn about science and space. My kids loved it.
Thus was a great visit...I went with a small family group and everyone was helpful and friendly...we went on the tour for Nasa, had a bite to eat (reasonably priced with good food), enjoyed the exhibits of science, and watched a 3D show!
Limited size and exhibits for the entry fee, but still a fun place to kill some time with the kids.
I recommend the Houston NASA Space Center.
The Infinity is less then 20% what Houston have and is more for school kids als for adults.
The Bus Tour is also quite boring when u compare with other NASA facilities.
Nice place. Kind of expensive but they do have nice stuff
We have special needs children and they were in heaven visiting. All the hands on science, history and future! Oh goody! It was a perfect teaching and learning day for all of us. Our 9 year old aspberger kiddo, kept telling us details that we missed. Amazing place. Thank you
Definitely for younger children ONLY. Nice facilty, short on science. No scheduled rocket testing so skipped bus tour to NASA station.
Great place to learn about space program. Some nice interactive stuff for kids and adults. It will not break the bank either nice bus tour of rocket testing area included in the admission area.
This place is full of adventure from the rockets to the exhibits to the games to the interactive exhibits my children which are ten and six love it. I went this weekend which was December 29th 2018 and some of the parts of the museum or closed because of the government shut down but they still had a lot of fun and we will make sure to have another trip to go see all the stuff we missed today. The price is really good for all the things I got to do the gift shop is really nice with a lot of cool gifts that you can get for your children. The cafe has really good food that is actually really healthy and taste really good too. The 3D model of the Earth and Jupiter during the show did they have their it's one of the coolest things I've ever seen and my boys loved it can't wait to go back again and visit this really nice museum.
Take the Booster Tour. Must visit for science geeks
Always an awesome experience. I was with two of my grandsons today and both will be going back again and again.
15 bucks for adults, 10 for kids. Place is designed for kids!
Wonderful exhibits-- knowledgeable and friendly staff-- an excellent destination for people of all ages.
A great place for young and adults! Education and just amazement all wrapped up in one.
Very interesting place. Went on a tour to their distant launch sites. Only negative thing was the field trip kids were running all over the place and no one was controlling them. The kids ran right into us. Otherwise a great experience.
Clean, awesome exhibits, nice staff just overall a great place to take anybody
Large fuesal lodge is super cool for kids. Safe atmosphere
Extremely small! Paid $43 and spent maybe an hour and a half to two hours there. It was cool seeing the rocket outside but other than that it wasn't worth it. I'll never go there again.
I loved it if u want to go I suggest u bring a friend or family member is a awsome place I truly loved it but the food is a little pricey
Great place to see all kinds of science artifacts and great for the kids. They sell food and drinks. You can spend about an hour or hour and a half here if you have kids and they will love it.
A fantastic intro to space and science in general. There are a couple exhibit curators that can provide a lot of insight to the NASA facility.
Make sure you have plenty of time if you want to take the bus tour. We did not and ended up seeing a movie instead and that was extra for that.
Great place to take a child who's into astronomy. It's mostly astronomy, but there's small section about plants.
Beautiful, very informative! My whole family loves this place!
Expensive!!!! Not much to see. A bus tour was part of admission cost but we didn't get a tour! Disappointing.
Went for a field trip. The kids liked it. I don't really know what I expected out of it. Glad I did not pay the full price for admission though.
A fun day trip with friends. Very educational. Will bring the grandkids next time
Very indig5tful, eduational and interesting. I learned a lot about hurricanes while getting ready to drive through Irma on our road trip through the south! So I was better informed of my odds of survival and....I survived!
Fun place to go reasonably priced always changing exhibits .
The Stennis Space Center is NASA's testing ground for engines for their various space craft. The exhibits and bus tour are very interesting, and the cafe serves a small but made-to-order and reasonably priced tasty selection. More exhibits, and more interactivity, is needed, but as it is, the center is a worthwhile visit for a couple of hours.
Our Favorite local science museum!! The museum is mostly new, and has been adding new exhibits every few months. The museum has several interactive exhibits for kids and adults alike. They have also taken great steps to make your visit safe with sanitizing stations throughout the facility. We love the place so much, we bought a membership!
I was very happy to run across this gem - situated right next to an interstate rest top in Mississippi. We went all through it - lots of nice displays centered on NASA and the environment. Well worth the time to stop.
A very cool place lots of interesting things there and the tor gude was very good
Great place to take the family. There are currently a few exhibits under construction but there is still plenty to do inside and out and the bus tour of the Stennis Space Center's rocket propulsion test facility is a plus. Worth the visit.
A great place for the kids. Disapointed that the bus tour of the Stennis Space Center has been discontinued. It was half the learning experience.
Well worth the visit for young and old alike. Very educational
The 3D movie we saw was inspiring for girls. Center exhibits were a bit schizophrenic, as there is a combination of meteorology, seismology, environmental science, ornithology, . . . It would be good for kids. Not as comprehensive or wowing as Kennedy Space Center, but OTOH, much cheaper.
Sort of expensive given that half the museum is still under construction
You need a whole day just to go through and see everything
