If, like me, you're 157cm and a curvy lady you can't go past this place for jeans tailored to fit perfectly. At $55 a pair, and with free alterations, I think they're a steal!

Went into this store after hearing about it for years. They have a nice selection of jeans but all the girls who work there are more concerned with having conversations with eachother than doing their jobs. Its very unclear for someone who has never been there before how the store works, after 5 minutes of looking confused and still no one asking if I needed assistance I approached someone working to ask for help. Still after trying on some jeans and asking several questions I was given minimal information or help which resulted in me leaving without buying anything. I walked in intending to buy 3 pairs of new jeans but those shop assistants are useless.

Awesome jeans. Great price. Just expect to wait at least 30 minutes to get in and another 15-20 to try your pairs on once you're in.

Go here all the time. Jeans are around $50. They last around 10 months of daily wear. Will do as many alterations as needed.

There's no 'good' time to go to Dejour. Just go, line up, pick up your tailored jeans and get busy loving them to death.

Wow! What a wonderful place! Super cheap, best quality jeans I've ever owned, comfiest fit! Service was impeccable and alterations (which are free) done in 20 mins!

There s not much to say about this place that hasn t already been said. Pretty great that there s a place where you can get yourself a pair of tailored to fit jeans for $60 or less, especially as the denim and stitching is good quality. However as it s become so popular the wait times to try on and have jeans altered can get well out of hand, best bet is to go early on a weekday but even then you can expect queues to form. The shop itself is tiny and can make it hard to find the denim your looking for when there s a queue for the change rooms (which is always), also the change rooms themselves are tiny which can make it hard if you re trying to pry yourself out of a pair of skinny s.

Such a good service! I went on a Thursday afternoon didn t have to wait long to try on and alter jeans. Alterations were done in 1 hour! So worth it. Jeans are $55 dollar

Super busy on a Friday morning. Got there 15 minutes after opening and there were 15 people out the door! Tight fitting sizes but great value for custom jeans. Good to have an idea of the colour and cut you want before you go. Really helpful staff despite how busy it is. About a two hour turnaround for them to resize so grab a meal somewhere and come back

Sales girls very helpful, but the sizes run incredibly small!!! Largest women's is '24', which is equivalent to a normal 16.
I normally fit a 22, the closest was their largest men's jeans but still a bit too small.

Tons of choice, including (very) long options. The place is small but who cares if you're snagging the perfect pair of jeans! Staff are kind and helpful too :)

Great store, it was a fun experience and fantastic price ($55 including alteration) for quality jeans. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, the owner took one look at me and recommended a different style and size to what I had and they were a perfect fit, he knew exactly what would suit me. I appreciated him spending the time to come over to me when he saw that I could find something better - thank you!

You can be waiting around an hour in peak times (e.g Saturday 2pm) however it's worth the wait if you want value for money. Dejour jeans are made in Australia so you're supporting the local industry. For $55 you can find something that looks great on you, fits perfectly and is high quality. I would aim to purchase a few jeans to make it worth the wait or enter as soon as they open if it's the weekend. I assume these jeans will last a long time. There are skirts and short sizes available as well as denim jackets. These are different prices. Kudos to the man Nam who custom altered my jeans on the spot even though they were closing because he overheard that I was leaving town. The people out the back work very hard :)

Friendly service, huge range and perfect fit. I'm 6'4" and it's always a struggle to find jeans long enough. While Dejour will tailor free in-store in about an hour, I could simply pick up the extra long jeans and there was no with to do - they were perfect! And great value at ~$50-60.

Went to get a pair of jeans before work after they came highly recommended. Literally ran down there to get there with a good amount of time before they close (25 minutes) as to be considerate. They had already closed. Almost a half hour early and turned me away saying they were at capacity. What? That just sounds lazy for what would have been a 15 minute transaction. If you post online your open till 4 you are open until 4. Will not be buying a pair from this brand ever.

Been meaning to return to Dejour for years. Finally got some new jeans. The fitting service is fast, the staff know what they re doing. The styles are basic but in a good way. You either like it or you don t but you cant argue the price is one of the biggest highlights. $55 for tailored jeans!

Great jeans, at great prices with tailoring included. Some styles are slightly weird fit wise, tend to be very low-rise, and stock levels fluctuate wildly. Sometimes there's a queue to get in the door let alone a fitting room - but that's all part of the Dejour experience!

Range is basically just the same thing over and over. Everything is skinny leg without any variation. Staff were rude and unhelpful when I suggested I wanted something other than skinny leg. But they do shorten the jeans on premises and very quickly...When they get a better range I would find this quite convenient.

Dejour is amazing! Since hearing about it a year ago this is now the only place I will buy jeans. The level of customer service great and much better than any other place I've gone. Dejour really looks after you. On top of this the prices are awesome and the options of cuts, colours and sizes is unreal. Would strongly recommend to anyone who values comfort and good customer service.

Best Jean store in Australia. Custom fit jeans for under $70

Visited on a Saturday and arrived early to beat the mayhem of the mid morning rush. Took two pairs of jeans into the change room and discovered I had the wrong size and style, the staff were super patient and helpful and made sure I ended up with a flattering pair of jeans. The jeans are made from a thin denim but are hard wearing and cheap at $55 a pair. Tailoring was done in one hour. Overall an excellent experience.

Fantastic place, own three pairs of jeans from here now and r ally happy with all three. Oldest of which is coming up to about a year now and still going strong with regular use. They cost 55 each including altering and have taken between 60-90 mins to have altered and then been ready to go back and collect. Recommend if going on a Saturday to go early, it gets busy, you will need to line up outside to get in, then line up again to get to the changing rooms. Last time we were there for a good couple hours as a result - but I believe it's worth it for getting a great fitting, affordable pair of jeans. Had mine taken up to the be the perfect length, tapered at the ankle and knee for good skinny fit and then slits in the knees. Couple caveats to be aware of - colours can sometimes be limited in some sizes and styles, the place is nothing fancy to look at and the jeans definitely do stretch a decent amount which personally I like but means you don't want to go too loose fitting initially. Being on Sydney Road, there's plenty of cafes you can get a meal at nearby while you wait for the jeans to be ready!

Absolutely the best jeans anywhere in Melbourne: Service is extraordinary, the quality is fantastic and the prices better. Lines are really long on weekends, but often non-existent on weekdays, when you're much more likely to be able to come in, try something straight away and then have them alter it within an hour or so. My current two pairs are 18 months old and still look great - they're lasting much better than Levis or anything else I've bought previously.
