So many interesting things to learn here , although several people did complain that there was not much to do but if you take your time and enjoy each exhibit to its entirety you will absolutely love this place ! From going down into the sea in a submarine experience to launching in a space pad with the help of VR... A really family friendly place

We stopped by on our way home from vacation. It was well worth the detour! We had two 12 yr olds and one 8 yr old. The kids and adults equally had fun here. Our favorite part was the ROV simulator. IT WAS AWESOME!!

We ended up chatting with the gentleman who usually does the nature tours (it was raining so he was just kinda hanging out). He was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to! This was worth the trip!

Full day of fun for the kids and plenty for the kid in me. Get there early and schedule the bus tour first they fill up fast. I would pass on the opossum tour. It was nice and interesting just don't plan on seeing any animals of interest. The bus to the steinis area was much cooler and we had a very enthusiastic driver that really loved his job. At the infinity center we had to drag the kid away from things just so we could see the whole place. Didn't have time for any of the movies but we plan on going back soon. They have a reasonably priced cafeteria so you don't have to leave for lunch.

This was such a fun and interactive place to bring the kids. The exhibits were educational and the impromptu science demonstration was informative and exciting. It was interesting to learn about the history of the space center. The kids had alot of fun posing with the photo ops and riding in the flight simulator. We finished our trip off with some dip n dots ice cream which are always a crowd pleaser.

Not worth it for kids below 6 years old. There were a few things that occupied them. The hurricane simulator, large building blocks, sand table...but not worth it really. Would be cool for older kids to learn science. It is a true science space center.
There is a small room called little learners lab that has more little kid stuff. It was what saved the day!

We went in to see what it was about, was sad that we couldn't do everything. Wanted to watch the movie but the theatre wasn't up and running.... Still found other things to get into. Did the whole virtual reality, that was alright. I loved the Venus fly traps, the other interactive stuff was nifty. Rolled out of the joint when the school bus pulled up, trying to avoid germs. Over all had a blast!

I always enjoy visiting the Infinity Center at Stennis - lots of space program history to explore in the museum and great bus tours given by very knowledgeable guides around the test stands and other sites on the base. (Our guide (Corey), twice now, is a walking space and rocket encyclopedia on steroids and gives a fascinating tour over the bus speakers) The staff are friendly and full of little known and interesting facts about the Stennis facility and NASA in general. Recently, the first stage of a Saturn V rocket was added to the outside exhibit and it is truly awe inspiring and humbling to stand beside such a monument to the Apollo moon program. There's always something new to see and I look forward to visiting again as new things are added. Hopefully, one of these times, I'll luck up and get to see an engine test.

Awesome. I been there so many times. It's a small place but I tell what I love it.
Very very friendly people.
Its educational and mindful for kids. But adults special senior can enjoyed too because it's short to walk inside the facilities.
Very clean special in those days. The movies are short too so you can easy enjoy with those little ones that are always move. You can catch and enjoy the 20 minutes sitting when you have a toddler watching in a comfortable chair. They have different movies at different times. They all good.

Yummy! Thank you for feed my tummy.
See you soon.

What an amazing place to visit. Absolutely worth making a day trip. Senior Wednesday gives reduced fees. The 3d movie about when and where the next space adventures will happen is worth seeing. The tour of rockets was filled with information, little tidbits of knowledge. Seeing the cutout example of inside the space station, Armstrong's space suit, a lunar module and much more.

Once you've seen the Kennedy Space Center, everything else sort of pales in comparison. The Saturn V first stage booster made it worth the drive, but this is definitely more of a children's museum. Actual space relics seemed to be tucked away in the corners while the featured exhibits were all crafted for kids' entertainment.

It is run by the government... Be prepared for lots of california-style nanny-state rules. They ran out of room on the tour buses at 12 already. You pay an entrance fee and then still pay for other attractions while inside. A major issue for me was security. My wife has a military spouse ID card through me and can access all bases, world-wide. Interesting though, because she's German, she could not ride the tour bus. Is an out of commission base more important than all US military bases?

Went with a class 1st grade field trip. It was real clean and had nice centers. I'm only giving it 4 stars because there was no one at the stations (except ones that charged an extra fee of 5 dollars.) The teacher, her assistant and I were at our own when trying to figure out what was what. I feel perhaps they were short on volunteers or staff to have the capacity to man each station and educate the classes on what each one was about.

Very complete museum, bringing you the experience of being an astronaut and the science behind the space program, as well as the personal stories of locals that became astronauts. Store is a bit scarce in NASA souvenirs, unlike a few years ago, when it had a wider selection, like jackets and mugs with the NASA logo.

A very basic museum, with a limited collection of interesting space hardware and memorabilia.
On the other hand the "nature & environment" exhibits are fair enough and particularly funny for the children.
The overall conditions of the displays should be dusted off.

Another strong point of the Infinity Science Center is the bus tour of the Stennis Space Center included with the standard ticket. It's a 45 minutes guided ride in which you have the chance to see the NASA and NOAA facilities in the area and most importantly the huge rocket engines test benches.
It's not possible to exit the bus, but if you are a rocket addicted, you can't miss this.

Call ahead and make sure there isn't a field trip on the day you want to go. Our visit was almost unenjoyable because kids were running around wild and overtaking stations we were already at. The VR experience is a must, and the Journey to Space movie is really great but not as 3D/cool as I was expecting.

It was an awesome experience. We stopped here on our way in off vacation and no one knew what to expect and was hesitant to pay the 15.00 a person but it was well worth it. Everyone enjoyed! Thank yall so much.

Interesting place to bring both the young and old to learn about the space program. There's a nice cafeteria for grabbing a quick bite to eat. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Add for the learning experience the activities are geared towards elementary school aged children. But, being an adult, I appreciate the quality of what is being taught here. I enjoyed the activities. Plenty of hands on and instructional activities. I did not see any bored children here.

If you have kids, this would a good spot for them. However, if you're an adult without kids you may want to reconsider. What was offered was mostly geared towards kids and the stuff that wasn't was presented in unexciting paragraphs of information. Screaming children seemed to be everywhere, so if that's not your scene, this place may not be for you. On the flip side, if you have energetic kids this may work for you.

This was a great place to stop for a break on our road trip east. It is much larger facility than I expected. It has great displays and lots of great information. There is a cafe with fairly good food at descent prices too. I'd recommend it for all ages as I enjoyed it and I'm no spring chicken.

Their stated mission is to "inspire youth...." The Science Center certainly seems to be set up to do just that. There are lots of kid-friendly activities of every sort. If you have some active kids junior high age or younger, you could easily spend 2-3 hours here, and your kids would have a lot of fun. For adults, however, there is less to do or see. Despite the fact that this is officially a NASA welcome center, most of the activities of the center focuses on earth science, like floods and hurricanes and carnivorous plants. The wave machine was cool, but I don't know how that fits with space flight, and that connection was never made clear. My wife and I spent about an hour here and we were able to do everything we cared to do in that time. I'm glad we visited, but I don't feel any draw to come back.
