Such an amazing experience! We have been quite a few times in the past, and have loved it every time. There is always something new to explore;Mars rovers, interactive thermal cameras, the replica space station, the rocket testing area, and now a new movie arena! We decided to have my sons birthday party here. The only downfall is that they do not offer any type of birthday packages, and it was a bit of a hassle once we arrived. It would have been convienent to prepay for tickets/wrist bands beforehand,so other guests didn't have to wait for so long behind us. However, the staff was wonderful, and really helpful! Definitely do the bus tour, and tram ride if you can, You won't regret it! We can't wait to go back!

A great spot to bring the kids and fairly close to us in Covington (it's easier to get here than anywhere in New Orleans). We went during Christmas break so there were no field trips and that was magic. It was like we had the place to ourselves. The boys (ages 3 2 and 1) absolutely loved it. They talked about the rocket for days. Nothing stirs the little boy imagination like rockets!

The Infinity Science Center was an enjoyable place to spend a few hours. My wife and I visited since we have heard good things. We live in New Orleans so it was only a 45 min drive outside the city.

Parking was free with ample spots. For two adults we spent $30 even. There is food you can purchase at the cafeteria. We were only here for a short time.

We don t have kids and a good chunk of the account is targeted to that audience. I d imagine with a little one, you may spend 3-4 hrs but we spent 2 hrs wandering around and watched the virtual tour of Stennis Space Center which was pretty cool. That was no additional charge.

We tried the dehydrated ice cream from the gift shop. That was an experience. It was pretty good.

This was an amazing museum. The only issue I have here is that most of the staff is young and don't ensure the groups that come to visit, maintain the children that are with them. Kids between 12 and 14 years old in a full out sprint, chasing each other around the museum where the kids that were with me couldn't enjoy the place. There was a strong smell in the museum and with two hours, all of us were sick with a stomach virus. Place should be better maintained to minimize the chance of people getting sick.

Cool place I like to visit when I'm passing through. If you're coming by, take 30 minutes or an hour (or longer) if you can, you won't regret it. They have a really cool tour you take to see the facility. Plan a few hours and have lunch if you can make a proper trip out of it. They have lots of different old engines and equipment you can see, there was an aerospike engine and a space station module mockup exhibit inside when I visited. Definitely go!

The tour of the NASA engine testing area was very interesting; however, the science center is definitely geared toward an elementary crowd. A good way to spend an hour or two on a drizzly day.

After having to see the building for a few days, I think this is something that was made only with kids in mind. There is virtually nothing in the building that is for anyone above 12 years of age.

Wanted to hike the trail but still closed. They said it was because of a fire. A few months ago they said it was due to government shut down. Thank you Infinity for your reply. However, I was trying to access the trail from Infinity. Plus, this March when will the sign be taken down & if you wanted to charge people to help with upkeep a couple bucks to hike the trail on their own I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

Worth a trip here to see the glorious space accomplishments of the USA. There are also exhibits related to the local area such as flooding and hurricanes. Many of the exhibits are interactive. There is a boardwalk outside that circles their natural area.

I was not impressed with it for what they charge for admission. I guess if I had been a small child maybe I would of liked it more, but being an adult they didn't have very many things that would appeal to an adults nature.

Place is ok, but compared to other museums, we found it lacking, especially for the $18 price. After general admission, they wanted to charge for us to do things after we were already in, things that really should be included in the $18 price.

We got to the center at 2pm. Cafeteria was already closed. Last movie showing was at 2 so couldn't do that. Some of the exhibits we're under construction. Stock in the gift shop was low. Over all very disappointed, especially for the price. Would not suggest to anyone.

We loved it. It was awsome. My 10 yr old nephew loved it so much that he wants to get the membership. And my sister and myself agree with him.
I recommend this for all ages.

Surprisingly the staff were not very kid friendly. The ticketing staff were not pleasant acted as if I was disturbing them by asking for discount info and ticketing. Even though I was within 2 of my children they felt it necessary to hover over my children and instruct them harshly not to touch the hands on displays meant to be handled. The staff acted awkward around the children 5yrs old and 6 yrs old. I m guessing the staff were just not comfortable around children. The kids enjoyed the LEGO areas but much of the displays were broken, under construction or didn t have anything to do with space ie bird display and hurricane displays. There was a 45 minute bus tour available for the price of admission but when I asked the driver if the kids would like it he said it would be over their heads and they would not enjoy it. (I was grateful for his blunt honesty.) We has to kill an hour while my wife had a work call so it was nice place to explore but not worth the price of $31 (no discounts offered for teachers, homeschool or ASTC members. Very disappointing)

We took our elementary science club students there for a field trip. We brought our lunches in, planning to eat at an outdoor pavilion. It began to rain heavily with constant winds. We had to rush back in, and had hopes of sitting at their cafeteria tables (which were completely empty). They refused to let us eat there or anywhere in the building. We we unable to take the kids back to the bus to eat, due to the sustained rains and long open distance from their entrance to the parking lot. Our students didn t get to eat their lunches that day. Absolutely ridiculous.

Super cool space museum. You actually buy tickets and you take a bus ride over to the actual NASA rocket test facility. the tour guide was super knowledgeable about all the rocket systems and the history of the base. The museum itself has a nice little gift shop, and rocket engines on display. It's right off of interstate 10 and plenty of parking available.

Well, the place looks great from the exterior. Many of the exhibits have no information on what they are and when we asked people that worked there what they were they couldn't explain what the exhibits were either. The only interactive things are the ocean simulator and VR experience. But be warned, the VR experience is additional money on top of the $18 per person fee to get in in the first place. The layout of the center feels like the people who set it up simply don't care. The woman selling the tickets (who's name starts with an S and ends with an A) at the front is obviously miserable and was extremely rude to my husband who had questions about the center. Oh - and there is a bus tour, but no one tells you about that when you go in - apparently you are just supposed to know about it. Bad experience over all, might have been worth the $60 it cost us if we had known about the "bus tour".
